I just wanted update everyone on the Korres Saga! I hope all of you that ordered received the apology email from them. You can check out exactly what they had to say here. It’s definitely an email worth reading!

It sounds to me like they received lots of well deserved complaints. The best part is they NOT only didn’t ignore these complaints, BUT they actually took action and did something about them! I really do applaud this company for the way they put their customers first (not themselves) and I will likely be shopping their again because of they way they handled this situation!

They will be shipping out all the items ordered by Friday, July 24th! Plus, they will be shipping out an added bonus, a Body Butter Trio ($24.50 value)! Yay! I can’t wait to get mine!

    This is awesome if it’s true! I didn’t get that apology email though, only one that canceled my order so I hit reply on it and copied a link to the page you listed. We will see if they really honor it for all of us.

    Thanks sooooo much for all that you do. Really. In this economy, it’s so nice to have the ability to still splurge on nice things that don’t cost a lot.

    I also have received nothing as of yet. I also didn’t complain to them. Wondering if they are only honoring those who voiced a complaint.

    And I totally agree. This type of customer service is what makes me care about a company and want to support them in the future, deal or no deal.

    I received my apology email also and I am VERY happy about this. The last people that cancelled my order didn’t come back and apologize and this makes me want to use them again. Anon, I didn’t write to complain either but I still got the apology email.

    I just wanted to let you know, I did not complain to the when I received my cancellation email. I was not about to complain over a $2.00 order.

    I think this is really great! I recieved my email and I cannot tell you how pleased I am! In my mind they are really going the extra mile to make the customer happy, how refreshing.

    I received the updated email and really appreciate their taking responsibility to the customer seriously. Whether it’s $2, $200 or $2000, it’s my money and I don’t have to spend it with you (read this Yves Roche). However, when you let me know that you value my decision to spend any amount of my money with you, that speaks to me and I will come back.

    I believe the company absolutely did the right thing, by honoring their customers. Companies have to realize the power of the “Blog” and that something like this could ruin their reputation among so many blog follwers, the news would spread like wild fire. I believe they saved future customers and their reputation, I look forward to future orders.

    On another note, I just wanted to say, Hip2Save, you have changed my spending habits for the good. I love your blog, you really give us so many saving opportunities, in a time when so many of us have to be frugal and are living under are means.

    I just checked and I also received that apology e-mail. It was in my spam file. I will definitely use this company again for outstanding customer sevice. They didn’t have to give us anything, but they decided to do so. A lot of other companies wouldn’t have done anything. That says a lot about what kind of company they are.

    I did not complain to the company but I did recieve the email saying they would refund all my money and send everything I ordered plus an extra gift. I thought it was very admirable that they would do this. They have definitely made a customer out of me, and I will be sending an email saying as much!!!! YAYYYY. cant wait to get my package!!

    I also got the email in my inbox. I’m impressed with the company on how they took action by giving what the customers asked. But in reality i was not expecting it. I was already ok with the previous apology email. But them doing this makes me want to buy a product in the future. So first I’ll test the products that will be delivered to me and might tell other people about the products. ty Korres!

    They are selling the body butters right now on Hautelook for 12.50, but hey, we are getting them free. Now I wish I had ordered more, haha… This turned out to be an awesome freebie!

    I too received the apology email and am pleased with the way that Korres is handling the situation. I had not used this company before your post, but will do business with them in the future. They truly seem to care about their customers.

    I just received the e-mail too and am so pleased to see a company follow through with what is right and admit its mistake and apologize. With money tight, I definitely pay attention to how I am treated, and save my loyalty for the companies that treat my business–any amount of business–as important to them. Thank you Korres!

    I haven’t gotten any emails from them (checked in spam and everything) so I called when I saw this post, and was told by customer service that my order was on it’s way and they apologized that I hadn’t received anything that they had been swamped with orders and with the site going down, they were trying to catch up! If it follows through, I will have a lot of respect for the company!

    What if you have been credit back the money, will they process your order? I checked my bank account and it says they credit $2 on the 7/21. Does this only apply to those who have not been credit back the $$$?

    Here’s the scoop. They are giving you back your money, sending out your original order (gum or whatever) minus the “promised 3 pc. gift) BUT they are adding in 3 body butters. Basically, they are trying to apologize without accepting any money from us which ROCKS! I have already been telling friends how impressed I am with them fixing things. ๐Ÿ™‚

    This is what they say I am getting. Thought we could compare:
    1) Chewing Gum with Spearmint Orange Flavour

    2) Sachet honey moist. cream 2ml
    1 of 1 shipped.
    3) Guava Body Butter sample sachet 9ml
    1 of 1 shipped.
    4) Sachet Yogurt Cream 2 ml
    1 of 1 shipped

    Jackie, I got the same exact message as you now. It didn’t mention the free body butter trio too but I think they *may* include it anyway.

    Jackie, I got that message as well. I didn’t receive any of the previous emails from them. I replied and asked for confirmation that my order included the new gift with purchase.

    I got the email of my order. This is the shipping item detail:
    1) Chewing Gum with Rose Flavour
    1 of 1 shipped.
    2) Milk Proteins 3 in 1 sample sachet 4ml
    1 of 1 shipped.
    3) [01S0058] SAMPLE Wild Rose Brightening Mask *4ml
    1 of 1 shipped.
    4) Sachet Yogurt Cream 2 ml
    1 of 1 shipped.

    Im not sure they include the butter body trio….maybe they ran out. its ok at least they are willing to ship the other items ๐Ÿ™‚

    I received the apology e-mail the other day. I sent them a reply thanking them for standing behind my order and their product. Nice to see a company think of their customers first.

    I received an E-mail indicating my order had been cancelled due to the error people have noted previously. There has been no apology E-mail, and now I recieved an E-mail indicating my order has been shipped, but there’s no mention of the body butters. I’m puzzled as to why different people are receiving different messages.

    I just got the tracking info for my order and I am supposed to receive it today! I will post to let you know if the body butter trio is included with my order.

    I got my order today! ๐Ÿ™‚ I also got the gum and I got 2 samples and the three body butters! I am excited and I think that the company really did the right thing by honoring the orders since it was technically the company’s mistake. Fun products!
