With this and the super Kmart toy deal Christmas is DONE!!!

  4. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I hope everyone else finds great deals too. I couldn’t believe it when I picked up the Cadoo game and it was marked $3.75. I made sure to tell a lot of people meandering through the toy section about the deals. I had a wonderful cashier that said she was so happy for me:) Thanks for sharing in my excitement.

My store (New York City) only had about 25% of its clearance toys marked down 75% off, everything else was still 30-50% off. Target employee said most will go 75% off next Thursday for us. I still picked up a Transformers Mr. Potato Head for my nephew for $2.48 and a Playskool Lil Jiggle Garden for my niece for $4.24 (both 75% off). Congrats to everyone on the great deals!

  6. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

AWESOME DEAL!!! I ran at lunch and got:
5 or six Pixo’s sets for between 2.48 and 3.24 each
    -Partini Board Game $5.00

-4 Nintendo DS Petz Dogs Plush $3.74
-2 Nintendo DS Petz Cats plush $3.74

-several Tinkerbell Faeries items for $3.24-6.00 each

  7. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I did AWESOME! Bought $300 worth of toys! I’ll be on a high for days! YAY!

  8. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I went around noon today after seeing a post about this on another blog. I got there and the crowd was getting pretty big. I was there on Tuesday and they had alot more toys. It seemed to be more of the seasonal items for 75% off. I was still able to grab some great deals.

  9. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Free and cheap cranium!!! If you buy the Cranium games-there are two on clearanance- one is priced $3.75, the other is priced 5.75, make sure you use the $5 cranium Target coupon for free and 75 cent games! I scored and stocked up for birthday parties today with that awesome coupon! The coupon is on the Target website, or the Target copuon generator Hip 2 Save refers to with her Target deals. Hope that helps everyone!

  10. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oops, didn’t see that Hip 2 Save already posted about the $5 Cranium coupon. Sorry! Just got back from Targets all day!

  11. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I was JUST at Target today and didn’t see any clearance Cranium or clearance toys, period. I need to go back when I’m not trying to shop with two kids!

I love hearing about everyone’s deals!

  12. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

My husband says I spend more money going to this site. As I just spent 100 dollars at Target tonight. But he will be impressed at Christmas time as our Christmas budget will be less. Or maybe it will be the same…but with more impressive toys.

BTW, bought 4 games of Cranium…the adult version…for 2.22 each after the coupon was used.

    Thanks thanks!
    Leslie

It’s awesome, but could she leave some toys for others? It seems a bit obsessive 😉

  14. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

why do you think it is obsessive?
4 kids of my own, 3 cousins, lots and lots of friends who have birthday parties, I don’t know about the rest of you but this is the only way we can afford anything for the many gift giving occations we have all year long. Especially with both of us in school. My husband was working in manufacturing but there are just not enough jobs so he delivering pizza untill he finds something better.

  15. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I found some great stuff, a $10 Lego set for $5, a $20 wooden doll’s high chair for $5, 2 Cadoo for $3.75, Hullabaloo for $5.72 – used 3 of the Target coupons, all worked without beeping on Cadoo (for overage) and Hullabaloo. I didn’t buy these, but fyi they had some bigger Lego sets for around half off, a rare and huge discount for Lego. Also, lots of kids shoes were on clearance too, I got sparkly pink dress shoes for my daughter for $3.24! Thanks for the head up on this – more Christmas shopping done!

  16. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Don’t worry. There were plenty of toys left for everyone else. There were plenty more Cadoo games and Hyperjump games. Plenty more Tag books. There were a lot of toys there when I left.

And there are going to be some happy boys in South Africa when I send them a bunch of Legos from their Auntie Sarah:)

  17. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I found the cranium game “Hullabaloo” for $5.74 and used the coupon! It was the only cranium game I saw left at my store. Most everything (especially the 75% stuff) was gone by the time I got there around 5:30pm. But I found a couple things! Fun!

  18. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Well, by obsessive, I just think that our culture, at times (not all the time), is obsessed with buying “things” …I guess maybe I need to put myself in someone else’s shoes because I currently don’t have kids, just a niece….

  19. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thank you so much for this heads up. I got Christmas gifts and birthday gifts for most the kids in the family. It was amazing how much was already gone by 2pm but I was still able to find lots of great toys for 75% off. I had such fun:)

  20. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

After all that I spent about $300 and got $1200 worth of toys!! I got Yo Gabba,Bratz,Pixo’s,Thomas the Train, Board Games,Tech Deck,Pokemon,National Geographic, Baby Alive,Rescue Pets,Elmo,Hannah Montana and MUCH MUCH MORE!! I am set for Birthdays, Christmas and even Easter. Thanks for the heads up!!

  21. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I did extremely well at Target yesterday. I hit two of their stores and got $400+ of toys for $85. I didn’t know about the sale when I went to the first store. Sort of stumbled upon it. So stoked!! I hope we can find out about these toy sales early on when they happen in the future.

  22. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for the info. Went to Target for toys…didn’t have too much luck with that, but while I was there I found some outstanding deals on baby and toddler clothing. Carters brand baby books, receiving blankets, onesies, knit pants, socks, shoes, outfits, etc all 75% off. CUTE Circo bumper pads for 5.00! Several 75% and 50% off racks in the toddler section as well.

  23. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Had so much fun today finding the deals! spent about $40 for $155 worth of stuff. My son’s and my nephew’s b-day are in 2 months, and i got lots of diego toys, cars, handy manny, etc. Plus 2 partini’s and a few other goodies! thank you so much for letting me know!

  24. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I do agree that our culture can be obsessed with things. I try to be very intentional about what I buy, so that we are able pay the bills and still be able to give to others. This is the whole idea behind my blog:)

So now after finding a few more girlie things today, I’m set for my 6 nieces and nephews for birthdays and Christmas, Christmas and birthday for my two little boys, and presents to send to the kids we love in South Africa, and some toys for a local charity.

  25. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Glad I went to target yesterday and got my goodies, cause today I hit another target hoping to snag some more toys, and there was NOTHING left on the shelves, nothing at all. Just regualr price toys. I couldnt believe it. This is the first time I went to the store and walked out empty. But at the same time, glad not to have spent anymore $$ 🙂 since I spent quite a bit yesterday.

  26. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I bought a cart load of toys for xmas and upcoming birthdays total $63

  27. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thank you so much! With 3 kids, 6 neices and nephews, upcoming births and birthdays, I was able to get quite a bit for very little. I picked up some of the baby items as gifts for two friends who are having showers in a couple weeks. I spent $112 for all the toys and baby items including a couple of the games that ended up being free after coupons.

I went to Target with my daughter this morning and was disappointed to see that many of the clearance shelves were wiped out. =( However, the last aisle was full of toys that were 75% off! My daughter is 1 (today, actually!) so not a lot in her age range, but I picked up a few things for Christmas. Also got 2 Cranium games for free. One was marked 3.75, one was not. I alerted the cashier telling her she would need to mark the price down, but she didn’t. I had 2 transactions and the 2nd was .65 for a Cranium and a box of Cinnabon bars!

  29. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

So great! I just added up my loot and I spent $43 on $171 worth of toys. Hooray! I got two Handy Manny toys for $5.75ish that were both regularly about $23. That’s a steal! Aquadoodle Zip-Up mats for less than $4, WordWorld toys for less than $4 each – awesome! Thanks so much for posting so we know!

  30. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Shoot, I should add that I went on Thursday evening…I am sure they are wiped out now.

  31. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

THANK You1!! I went and got 17 toys for $70!!! Then I went back again today and got more because I couldn’t believe how great it was.
