Walgreens: Fan Clearance + Rebates + More!
Walgreens currently has some sweet deals available on fans! They have quite a few fans on clearance and most of them offer rebates or Register Rewards! One fan to note is the Remote Pedestal 16″ Fan. This fan was originally priced at $39.99, but now its 50% and priced at just $19.99. Plus, when you purchase one a $10 rebate form will print out at the register–making your final cost just $9.99! That’s a pretty sweet deal if you ask me!

I purchased a tower fan last week ( 26″, I believe) for 12.49 last week and received a $5 RR. Regular price was 24.99. It has high, medium and low setting and an oscillating option as well.
I also saw somewhere that the Lasko box fan produced a $5 RR or rebate (not sure which). Does anyone know for sure if this is still working now? I know there was a sale earlier this month that is over now. Thanks.
I just bought this fan using a $5 RR. After the $10 rebate, my cost will be $6!
I just bought the Nutri Serum Softsoap,got my $4RR ,but when I tried to use the RR for other items it wouldnt work, manager said it doesnt work the same day try again tomorrow,is he right?
NO he’s not right. I purchased items just last week in one trasaction and got a $1.00 RR then turned right around and used the RR with another purchase.
I bought the Neurti Serem today and used it right after just fine. Be sure you have more items than coupons, th RR counts as a coupon. Also, be careful not to use it in a transcaction that has that same product. I bought 1 with a bunch of other stuff. Then truened around and bought another with a bunch of other stuff and used the RR from the first. Then my RR for the second one didn’t print. They will refund it and let you buy it again alone and it will print.
I bought the Lasko box fan last week & received the $5 rebate form at checkout even though the fan was on clearance for $9.99 so I assume it probably is still working.

To follow up on my own question I went to Wags today to get my Nutri Softsoap and this store still had the red stickers with the fans showing the deal. The deal ends 8/26 or 8/29 (can’t remember which now) which will be great for this week’s 5/$25 RR. There were different deals for different fans. Some gave a $5 RR, some had a $5 mail in rebate and another had a $10 mail in rebate.
checked with my Walgreens here in TN and they are still regular price.
How can one/we find out what rebates are on what items? Anyone know?
Yesterday, I bought a 47″ Wexford Premium remote tower fan that was originally priced at $50. It was 50% off ($24.99), I got a $5 RR and a $10 rebate form. My total cost,thanks to this website, will be $9.99.
Walgreens SCAM!!!.. on 8/8/09 I purchased 2 Lasko 20″ fans @19.99 with an instant $10.00 off in store rebate with a $5.00 mail in manufacturers rebate. Making the fan cost after all rebates $5 bucks! LIMIT 3 was advertised in the walgreens store. So I paid for all my items and their new rebate machine printed me 1 rebate form.rebate form. I then asked why only 1 form? I bought 2 and the limit is 3 shouldn’t i get 2 forms (or rebate form papers? The manager happened to be working the register I was at and looked at the 1 rebate form and said no, “You can have up to 3 per household”. So a few days later I go to fill out the form, ( And I have never gone this far before) and the form said no need for bar code thing or reciept….I am thinking….how do they know how many i purchased then? I called the walgreens and the manager again said just to include the sales reciept as proof. I don’t want to do that! I puchased other things that i may need that receipt for. ANYWAY IT GETS BETTER!!! I called 1-800-WALGREENS…And they said that I need a rebate form per fan. I then asked why I didn’t receive 2 forms when i purchsed the fans. THEY said if I look closer on the back of the rebate form it states “LIMIT ONE OFFER PER PURCHASE”. That is messed up!So they are telling me I needed to make seperate purchases for the items. (In other words, go through the line aech seperate time for how many rebate forms) MY COMPLAINT IS I WASN’T INFORMED OF THIS UNTILL AFTER MY PURCHASE! There was no sign in the store or anything indicating seperate purchases untill after you pay for them. The only thing it says is limit 3 per household in the store. Even the manager didn’t know that at the time of purchase. Even when I called him today he told me to just send the receipt in to proove it. I can’t give them my receipt!!! I have other products I may need the receipt for in the future. They can’t print another form now either. In other words I have to pay for the items seperately everytime? This is a scam…Public Relations from Walgreens is suposed to call me tommorow. 09/10/09 Next time they have a limit for like 5 per household I am going to go through the line 5 seperate times…pay with dimes one time…maybe forget where i put my debit card the second and really piss people off behind me to proove that this is a Walgreens scam! I am also calling Lasko (The manufacturer tomorrow to see if they will honor) PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU WOULD LIKE FOLLOW UP!!…AND PLEASE RESPOND….anyone…..ASCRAPPY@AOL.COM
