Does Walgreens have rules or limits to how many you can get? I have lots of these soy candles coupons! Do you have to do separate transactions to get the rewards?

  2. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Could you use the 3.00 Glade coupon from RedPlum.com on the 2 oz candles? The coupon says good on any product from the Fragrance Collection and I didn’t see a size restriction. I know the coupon is more than the candles this week but they could adjust them down right?

  3. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

you would need to do separate trans to get the rr. and a lot of wags are being strick about how many you get. it depends on your store and your cashier. and the 3.00 coupon should work cause i didnt see any restrictions but some might give you trouble since i am sure it will beep.

  4. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I wonder how many you have to buy to get the register reward. I bought 3 and got it. I still have more coupons and I would like to use them if I knew for sure how many it took to generate the register reward.

  5. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I am new at this but what is register reward? I have 5 buy one get 1 free coupons for easy mac and Velveeta cups. Plus walgreen has a coupon for .89 cents each. Any helpful tips?

  6. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Where I live in FL, Publix was charging $3.19 ea, while at WAGS was $3.79 + tax. Since my WAGS is always a nightmare, I just went for Publix to get 17 of those.

  7. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I forgot to say that the coupon just covers up to $3.49, so I would have to pay the $0.30 + tax difference at my WAGS.

  8. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

It’s 2 for the register reward per HCW

  9. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    Anon,
You are correct. I just researched the deal further and it is buy 2 Glade candles get a $1 Register Reward. I have updated the post with the correct info. Sorry for the confusion.

  10. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I know some of you can’t find these Glade soy candles (the free ones)…I was at Acme tonight and they had 3 different scents.

  11. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The coupons for the buy one and get one free said value up to 1.30 for the velveeta cups and 1.29 for the easy mac so that means this coupons will not work with the walgreen ad coupon?

  12. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thank You, Thank You for posting all this stuff…. I did not know about the candles and velveeta producing RR. This helped me in tonights venture. I spent $19 in RR and $3.08 OOP ($.43 was oop cost for fillers and rest was tax) and then I received $21 in RR back. 🙂 The only thing they were out of was the razor. I also got a few items at a different one earlier, but they did not get in any stock and so were out of most things plus I di not know about the other little gems. Will hit a different one tomorrow and look for the razors. ( I still have a few RR that need to be rolled cause they are expiring.)
BTW the Glade candles are on sale 2/$5 right now so the coupon works completely…all you pay is tax and you earn a $1 RR on 2. My store had 3 scents to choose from. I know Wags can be a pain to deal with at times, (actually mine are getting better from be retaught after I have complained and they are getting to know me and know I am bringing in honest business even if I never pay much oop :)) but I have received soooo much stuff from them since they started doing the RR’s… I gotta LOVE it and I Thank You, Collin for helping to bring much of it all together!

  13. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

When is the Mac and Cheese Walgreen coupon for 89 cents? I didn’t see one in my weekly ad. Thanks!

  14. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

CVS has a better deal. You receive Extra Care bucks in the same amount as the candle or reed diffusers. Use $3.00 coupon and make $3.00 or use $2.00 and make $2.00 (there are two coupons out there). Limit one per CVS card.

  15. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

At CVS, it is the larger candle for $6.99 on sale, not the 2oz soy

  16. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Am I blind? Did Orlando not get the store coupon for the mac cups?

  17. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

when does the rr start? tom.?

  18. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

i thought the velvetta cup deal was buy 4 get 1$ RR? at least that was what i had to do to get it last week. Is it only buy 2 and get 1$ RR or is it buy 4 get 1$ RR? help! im going shopping today!!

  19. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Are you sure it is the August issueof All You that has the Velveeta coupon? I can’t find it!

  20. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I’m new at this, so hope I say this right… Here’s how my trip to Wags went this morning: Bought 2 glade soy candles — they rang up as 2 for $5. Cashier would only use one free coupon (beeped)-but it deducted 3.49 (the original price of the candle) and I got a $1 RR — final cost for 2 candles was .51

for the shells and cheese: the shelf was marked 3 for $3. I bought 4, used 2 b1g1 free coupons. they rang up as 4 for $4, the 2 coupons deducted $2.60, and I got $1 rr — total OOP of 40 cents for 4 cups.

(I didn’t use the 15% today only coupon)

    hope that helps someone!

  21. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I am confused also…I thought it was buy 4 mac cups and get $1 RR? Is that still the case, or is it really buy 2 get $1RR? Also, for those wondering where the $1 Wags store coupon is, it is in the “back-to-school” savings booklet (in the store, by all the weekly ads) HTH

  22. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

does anyone know when the free soy candle coupon expires? thanks!

  23. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

My walgreen’s cashier said I couldn’t use the $3 coupon for the glade candle because they cost less than the coupon($2.12 with my 15% off coupon). Does Walgreens usually adjust the price down, or did I just have a bad cashier?

  24. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I am completely lost. Which glade candles are 2 for $5?

  25. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Anonymous, you may have just gotten a cashier that has been trained to do things that way. I don’t see why it makes any difference to Walgreens, since they will send in the coupon and get the face value from the manufacturer. But some managers tell the cashiers that if a coupon is for more than the person actually paid for the item then they have to adjust the price of the coupon so that they are not paying minus prices for anything.

  26. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

There are 2 Glade candle deals going on:

    1. Walgreens: Glade Soy Mini Candle, which has a get it FREE coupon on 8/09 SS. Value up to $2.49, which means that if your store charges $2.79 each, you’ll have to pay the extra $0.30. When you buy 2 mini-candles at a time, you get $1 RR back. These candles are found also at Publix (or your market).

    2. CVS: Glade Diffuser Candle (the big one), which is $6.99 with a $6.99 ECB back. There’s $3 Off coupon for this one at http://www.redplum.com when you use the zip code 90210. Limit 1 per card.

  27. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I am new to this and I had some register rewards from last week. I went to make my purchase yesterday and the cashier said I could only use one RR for each trans action. Is this usual. I have never heard of anyone talking about having to purchase each item separate.

  28. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I used 3 free Glade candle coupons on Sunday, and was pleasantly surprised to get the $1 RR! 🙂

  29. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I am going to try to use the $3 off 2 candles in the fragrance collection which I can get at 2 for $5 so hopefully I can get them 2 for $2 then get $1 RR.

I just got the 2 free soy candles using the free coupons and got the $1 RR, so made $1 when I bought 2!!!

  30. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Has anyone really been able to find the 2oz candles at Walgreens?

  31. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Jim, the number of RR cannot exceed the number of items per transaction. For example, if you buy 1 item for $5 and try to pay with 2 RR in the amount of $2.49 each, WAG won’t accept it.

However, if you are referring to some specific jealous and mean managers who are requiring only 1 RR per transaction even when you buy several items that exceed the number of RR, yes it’s happening out there. It happened to me. I don’t shop at that store anymore and wrote a letter to WAG headquarters about the manager.

I suggest that we all write complaint letters to WAG HQ, including the manager’s name and store, when that happens.

  32. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Nancy, I bought my final (4) 2oz candles at WAG today: 2 Cotton and 2 Bamboo.

    I prefer the Açai better.

  33. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yes the candles are at the registers at my Walgreens, but not down the aisle.

  34. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

So I am not new to this couponing thing but I am a little confused by this post. How are the candles free? They are 2 for $5 so if you use the B1G1 Q then you are paying $2.50 for 2 and then you get the RR for $1. You are paying $1.50 for 2. Unless you are using another Q, I don’t understand how they are free or a money maker?
