Wahoo! I have some awesome news for all you Walgreens shoppers! The $5 Register Reward Triaminic deal I posted in the Walgreens weekly deals post is actually even better then expected! The Triaminic Night Time Cold and Cough Syrup (UPC 300436344045) is generating not one, BUT two $5 Register Rewards when you purchase two! At least that is what has been reported on Slickdeals and by 2 readers who have emailed about this!

From the comments I’ve read, it looks like the $1.50/1 Triaminic coupon has reached its limit. However, you can still turn this into a nice moneymaker by just using the Walgreens coupon!

Deal scenario:
Buy 2 Triaminic Night Time Cold and Cough Syrup $5 each=$10
Use the $2/1 coupon from the Walgreens Healthy Savings coupon booklet
(Will deduct $4 since you’re purchasing two)
Pay $6
Get back 2 $5 Register Rewards
Final cost 2 for FREE + a $4 moneymaker!

(Thanks, Alisa, Samantha & SD!)

how would this work? i thought it would only print out one rr per transaction on any deal.

  2. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I just came from there and used 2 $2 manufacturers coupons (found them today at Publix/pharmacy area) & the in-store coupon and it only printed one $5 RR.

  3. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I just bought two. Only one $5 RR, and they wouldn’t accept the coupon from the Healthy Savings booklet. They said the sale price reflected that discount already. I still bought them though, figuring that $1 each was still a great deal.

  4. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Only one $5 RR for me too, couldn’t find the other coupon booklets but with the 1.50 Q and RR, $1 each was a great deal

  5. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hmmm… did you all purchase the one stated in the post with the exact UPC? because that is the only one that has been reported generating 2 $5 Register Rewards.

  6. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I did night and day so maybe that’s why, tempting to go out and try again but i had enough shopping today and i have no more Q’s for Triaminic and my store didn’t have the other Q booklets

  7. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I am running low on cold medicine, this REALLY makes me want to run down the street and try!!

  8. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I have questioned 3 different walgreens about the healthy savings book and noone has any idea what I am talking about

  9. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Anyone know where to get the Healthy Savings Booklet? I tried 2 walgreens in my area and came up empty.

  10. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Mine were by the register in the front, not on the display where they usually put the coupon books

  11. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

This was working great as of 5 PM today, I did it at three different stores with no problems. I only bought the nighttime cold and cough (grape) GOOD LUCK!

  12. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I went back to the pharmacy and asked for one and they had them back there. Maybe they will at yours too.

  13. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Works at mine!! Made 3 bucks πŸ™‚

  14. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I found the Healthy Savings Booklet on a table when the staff was setting up for flu shots.

  15. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

My Walgreens had them at the front registar on a soda case almost like they were junk fliers. I asked if I could have some and he said I guess.

  16. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I’m om IL and tried this on 5 different stores and only !
1 of the 5RR is printing maybe was a glitch but has been fixed so whoever tried this morning and got 2 you can consider yourself a lucky dog because is no longer working.

  17. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Too weird, I thought it was a complete fluke this morning-I was completely confused and couldn’t figure out why I received multiple register rewards for same purchased items….Around 9:30 am central time- I purchased 2 Triaminic Thin Strips Allergy- Grape Flavored UPC # 30043-6383-143 and received 2 register rewards- one $5 from Novartis and one $5 from Reckitt Benckiser.

  18. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I just did it at 5:00 pm and it worked. I did it this morning, this afternoon, and this evening with the grape with the upc# stated. I had a long talk with the pharmacy personnel and they are going to ask about it. They have never seen it. Someone sent me one from New Orleans and I am so glad. How does anyone do this couponing without great friends on the internet.

  19. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I did this an hr ago mountain time and it still worked

  20. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I just did this an hour ago. It only printed 2 out w/ the night-time, the rest I just got one. The manager then told me that he had to limit me and wouldn’t sell me anymore because their supply was low. I had slim picken’s on it all anyway. I’m happy to get any at this deal cuz’ I have 4 kids and will definitely need it. I am going in the morning before work to see if they have the last 2 night-time’s left. I know, I’m naughty:)

  21. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I just completed this deal tonight. I made sure to take the UPC with me:) The store had only 3. I picked up 2 and 2 $5RRs printed. I had the $2 Healthy Savings books and a $.50/1 Q. I’m glad I got up to check the site to get this deal!!!

  22. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

It worked for me at about 8 pm CST. I had 2 $1.50 off Qs but no others. I got 2 $5 RR!! Wahoo… Thanks so much!

  23. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I just got back from the store. This deal worked great. I got 4 total bottles spit into two transactions and used a $3RR and a $2RR(one per trans) and each kicked out two $5 RR so I made like $12 just going to the store tonight. Thank you!

  24. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

No Healthy Savings booklet at my store either, but I decided to give it a go without coupons at 8PM, and it worked. One $5 from Novartis, One $5 from Reckitt. Free is GOOD!

  25. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I had $3 off triaminic coupons from my peds office so I paid .23 and got back the $10 in RRs! Awesome-thanks!!!

  26. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I got $5 RR and a $5 coupon off on Enfamil. HMMM. Okay for me though, because I use Enfamil. Thanks.

it worked here in central VA at 11est…it worked with the hip2save UPC night time one and also someone commented with a thin strips that worked as well. yay free!

  29. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I did the deal this evening and made sure I matched the UPC and I received 2 $5 RR. Worked great! I then used the 2 $5 RR to then purchase 2 Crest that’s on promotion also @ 2/$8 and added the Carefree 16 ct for $1.99 and small filler, paid tax and received $5 RR for Crest and $2 RR for Carefree.

    Great day @ Wags.

    Thanks H2S.

  30. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I purchased the thin strips, night time as that is ALL they had left but it only printed 1 RR. I can’t find the healthy savings book at my Wags either however if you give them the code 5556, and you have a nice checker, they will enter it without the coupon in hand. I have a great manager at my local store and he did it no problem. Good luck!

  31. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Just got back from Wag’s, and it worked for me yay!

  32. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I tried two Walgreens and was not able to find the coupon booklet. Did purchase two of the Triaminic for $10 and got the two $5 RR’s back, so free, even without coupon.

  33. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I did the deal as soon as I read the post and it worked. I got the nighttime. I used the 2 $1.50 off coupons and the coupon in the book and that took off an additional $4.

  34. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Must have done this ten times today. Yayyyyy got both $5 RRs used two $3.00 rr from the True North. The best part is out of pocket is 0. Weeeee….

  35. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

It worked for me! The manager had to hunt down the coupon book. He said that it was only for those who got the flu shot there. However, he gave me one anyway. YEAH!

  36. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

still working on both strip and syrup as of 11:40am est

  37. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I think this deal is dead. It worked last night just fine and not this morning on the same UPC codes.

  38. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I just did it at both Walgreens in my town around 11 this morning and it worked! I hope they don’t catch on and fix whatever problem it is…because I am enjoying this too much. I’ll keep a bottle or maybe 2 for my daughter, and then donate the rest, AND will have made money off of them. How much better does it get?!

  47. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hello there. i’ve noticed a lot of people report they don’t have the Healthy Savings Booklets at their Walgreens. i picked up 7 extra booklets today thinking i could mail these to anyone who’s possibly missing deals that would benefit their family because they don’t have one. If anyone would like a booklet mailed to them, email me at vickham dot hooki at gmail dot com with the address you’d like it sent to. To save postage, i will pull the coupons out of the book, so you won’t get the articles about benefits of the flu shot (conveniently sold at Walgreens πŸ™‚ ), and keeping medicines away from children. i’ll be mailing these from the Tulsa, OK area, so it could take 4 days to get to you if you’re on the coasts.

Sorry i only have 7 right now; i’ll post in this comment section again if i run out. And if a lot of people really want these, maybe more of us could grab extras and offer them up?
