Must be a regional deal. Bummer! No Glade gift card deals for San Antonio.

I’m in Sacramento. Went to 2 Targets and one had the candles on an endcap and the other one was just putting the end cap together. I got 5 tins and 5 refills and paid $5.77 and go 2 $5 gift cards. Good Luck!!

Is this deal in the ad? I can’t find it in my weekly Target ad. Want to go and give this deal a try along with the Degree deodorant and body mist:)

  4. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I tried to purchase 5 tins and 5 refills. they took the 1.50 q’s but they told me they are only taking 2 of the free refill ones per trans. (they said they have the right to limit the amount). I was so mad. so I only got the tins because I’m going to try my other target to get 5 more tins and use my free refill q’s. wish me luck.

  5. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Does anyone know how long this promotion lasts?

  6. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I went today got 5 tins and 5 refills. Almost all the Holiday refills were gone so i scanned some of the regular refills and the Cin. Apple ones went towards the promotion. They are not in a holiday package, but worked for the deal however the clean linen, ect. didn’t work.

Also I saw on a different blog it lasts until December 24! don’t know how true it is and don’t remember the site…i don’t stray to often from this site;)

Good luck! hand over the bogos first

Speaking about gift baskets, does anyone know where to buy cheap baskets?

  8. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

my target had a sign that said it runs thru the 26th of dec.

  9. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Went to Target this am and they said I could not use the $1.50q on the tin and also use the B1G1 as I was using to many coupons on the deal..so I called corp and they said the same thing that I could only use one set of coupons but I already did the deal once…

  10. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

My Target does not have this deal. They have the tins but there is no deal on them. They are 2.99.

  11. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

This was easy. No peeps. A five dollar money maker is always nice, plus it smells great in my card – they were in there all day.

  12. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I went to Target today ALL the tins and refills were gone and the sign about the promotion was taken down (i was there two days ago and it was up) When i asked the clerk she didn’t really know, but she said sometimes they take down the signs if they are out of products, so pp won’t ask about it! Even though all the febreeze were still there…whatever I’ll try again next week

I found a bunch of the blinkies at my Publix. Also, there were a few of the $1.50 coupons in a few of the tins, not all, I think some people are just taking them out to have extra. My Target had the tins and refills for $2.99 but they were only advertising the regular holiday candles not the tins and refills for the $5 gift card. I was able to stack the coupons wiht no problem but I think it depends on the cashier you get.

  14. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I ran into my first problem at Target today on this deal. I had 6 of the glass holiday candles and 4 of the refills. I had 6 $1.50 coupons and 4 buy tin get refills free. I was told by the cashier and “manager” that I couldn’t expect to use a FREE item coupon and also get a $5 gift card. I was told it was Target’s “policy” not to allow free coupons on items for gift card promos. I told her I would like to see a copy of this policy and was told they did not have one. Things that make you go hmmmmm!!! I left with just my soda.

  15. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    I did scenerio #2:
I purchased 5 of the glass candle holder and 5 of the candle refills. used all of the q’s and paid 4.95 but only got a $5 gift card back…not the $10 gift card.

Since i purchased 10 items does this mean I can do the SC Johnson deal 3 times and get $15 back?

  16. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I’m pretty sure you have to mail the three rebates separately. So since they were all in one transaction, it wouldn’t work. =\

  17. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I think it’s quite rude when someone goes through all the tins and TAKES out all the coupons for the candles. I mean, I understand using the coupons for the ones you actually buy, but if you take all the coupons, then there are NONE left for the rest of us. That just ticks me off. I mean, there’s thrifty, and then there’s greedy.

  18. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The Target I went to ALL the coupons were removed from the tins as well. But there was a sign on the shelf that did say that you get the $5 gift card for buying 5!

  20. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Just got back from doing this deal as well!! They have plenty of the candle christmas holders but no christmas like refills for this deal.. so i bought 5 regular refills for 2.89 and 5 glass holders at $2.50. used 5 b1g1 free but no gc.. and used 5,$2.00 off 2 glade products! Worked like a charm and got a $5.00 gc.. so over all paid $2.50 oop and got a $5.00 not but considering I got different kinds of candle refills. I’m getting tired of the apple/cinimmon ones LOL

  21. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Did this deal at Target last night: Bought 3 Christmas tins, 2 refills for $12.50. Used 2 Buy tins get refill free coupons, Used 3 $1.50 off coupons, and 1 $2.00 of 2 Glade products. Final Cost $1!! Got a $5 GC and will send in for the $5 Glade Rebate, so: final cost $9 Money Maker! Yahoo!

  22. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

My target would not accept the “free refill when you buy a holder” – they said it was from a blinky machine, and they do not have those, so they cannot be accepted…..anyone else?

  23. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Nope, I used the blinkie coupons with no problem. It’s a manufacturer’s coupon, so they should be taking it. (Ask them why they take newspaper coupons if they don’t sell newspapers! lol)

Has anyone else seen that there are $2/2 coupons inside the glass candles? I bought 15 of them and 5 of them had them. I only found 6 of the $1.50/1 candles in the tins, so I could have used these, I think, on my other 2 transactions.

    Wouldn’t this work?
    Buy 5 candles
    Buy 5 refills
    Use 5 BOGO blinkie coupons
Use 2 $2/2 coupons for 4 of the 5 candles.

  24. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Kate you can actually do this

    buy 5 refills $12.50
    buy 5 glass holders 12.50
    use 5 b1g1 blinkies
    use 5 $2/2

Pay $2.50 for all and get $10.00 back

Works everythime with of course the right cashier!

  25. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

It may go through because the BOGO coupons weren’t attaching at all to the candles, but it would be using two coupons on the same item, which is coupon fraud. =)

  26. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

My Target would not take my blinkie coupons today. I plan on heading up this evening to try again:)
