I highlighted the Target Wii games deal in this post, but the deal is even better then I thought! Currently, Target is offering up a FREE Wii game when you purchase 2 of equal or lesser value! There over 80 titles to choose from, with prices starting at just $14.99.

Deal scenarios to sweeten this sale:

Purchase 6 Wii Games priced at $14.99 each
Minus buy 2 get 1 FREE sale=$59.96
Use three $10/2 Target coupons
Final cost $29.96–just $4.99 per game!

Or if you want the more expensive games:

Purchase 6 Wii Games priced at $49.99 each
Minus buy 2 get 1 FREE sale=$199.96
Use three $10/2 Target coupons
Final cost $169.96–just $28.33 per game!

This is a smokin’ HOT deal for Wii games! My hubby is heading out the door as I type!;)

Too bad I stocked up during Amazon’s sale last week!

  2. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

My Target won’t let me use a Target Q on the Free games. I tried to do it with the cereal and it was a no no….so good luck, I hope they let you do it. that would be SWEET!

  3. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Let us know what you get!

  4. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    Anon,

The same thing happened to me with the cereal. However, I’ve heard reports that with the game deal all the coupons will go through without any beeps! I hope that’s the case!:)

  5. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I *think* you can use the Target coupons because the quantity is 2. If the coupons were $5 off 1, you probably couldn’t use them.

  6. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I had the same problem with the cereal too. I had an overage on another coupon tho, so it was still free!

So let us know how the games work out. I have my coupons ready to go and I’ll go on my lunch hour today if you pull it off!

  7. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

As usual I think it will depend on the store and the cashier whether it will work. I was able to use coupons on my free box of cereal. The cashier just pushed them through.

  8. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

how do you print just that coupon and not all of them?

  9. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Anon 8:58 – I did a print preview to find what page the coupon was on (page 11 for me) and then when I went to print instead of printing all pages you can click on the radio button for selected pages and type 11 in the box and then click Apply button and print. I hope this helps.

  10. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

How do you get your husband to shop w/coupons? My husband loves the savings but if I try to get him to “work a deal” he acts like he could not possibly understand the mechanics of it all! Frustrating!

  11. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Can you print these coupons at the store? My printer just ran out of ink..GRRR!

  12. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    So excited for this one!!!!!!!

  13. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Collin-what happened to the Johnson’s deal? I just sent a text, is it already dead?

  14. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I didn’t have any beeps when I used Target coupons for the Keebler cookies the other day. It was a buy 2 get 1 free sale and the coupons were $1/2. Seems like the same situation, so I hope it works!

  15. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    Lisa,

    Yes, it’s already dead!:(

  16. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I too used all of the coupons on the Keebler deal and got all 6 pkgs of cookies for around .50 – The cashiers was amazed….he was so impressed. I haven’t done the cereal deal so I’m not sure about that but I will be trying the WII deal (I have 3 boys at home)…. will let you know.

  17. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Can you print only 2 Target coupons from one computer like most other coupons?

  18. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The wording on the Wii coupon also says ‘DS’ games. 🙂 Cool! Thanks!

  19. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

ok! Love this deal! Bought the WII guiter at Target on black friday. Great buy but found out you need the system. So…..what is out there for the best deal senerio for the actural system? Then I can get the games and it will be great! I appreciate any help. My daughter has been waiting a year. All the systems were sold out in our area last year so I want to act soon.

  20. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

So, Target will accept multiples of the coupon even if it’s a printed coupon? Just wanted to make sure!! Thanks, I’m gonna head out in a minute:-)

  21. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

MY TARGET ONLY LETS ME USE ONE TARGET COUPON PER TRANSACTION DID THAT CHANGE?

  22. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I’m kind of understanding the coupon thing with my Target, but like someone said..it depends on the store and cashier.

    I grabbed 4 Kelloggs cereals (3 were $2.66 and the 4th was like $2.69)

But I didn’t have the coupons for $1/1 Kelloggs cereal so I used my $1.50 off 3 Kelloggs cereals..thus deducting from the 3 cereals I was paying for. If I had 3 $1.00 singles, that would of been even greater! But ya..I wouldn’t be able to use a 4th coupon on the free item..unless my cashier pushed it through.

As for the BOGO’s and coupons. If the STORE has the BOGO deal..I can use coupon(s) for the item(s) I am paying for. BUT! If I use a manufacturer BOGO coupon..it won’t let me use another manufacturer coupon for the item I’m paying for. I tried that with the Herbal Essence products and it beeped but she pushed it through. It was because she scanned my B2GO coupon, then I handed her another coupon for the 2 I was paying for. It was only allowing 1 manufacturer coupon on the product(s).

So now, I get it for the most part. SO the store..Target..its having the B2GO deal..not coming form your coupon so that means YES! 🙂 YES you can use the coupons on the items your paying for. Your using only one manufacturer coupon per item just like the rules state 🙂

I hope to hear lots of deals everyone is getting! My father in law has a Wii and the family loves to play it when we all get together. This would make some sweet gifts!!!

  23. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I’m very excited about this deal especially with the 2 or 1 deal this week. But I always have issues with Target accepting coupons. I hope this works

  24. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Just got back and it worked GREAT! 6 Wii games and the 3 $10 coupons scanned with no beeps. BTW look in front of the check out lanes for more games. They had a bunch up there that weren’t in the back with the rest of the games.

  25. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I don’t have a printer at home … so can I print these coupons at target.com in the store..please lemme know..thanks

  26. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

we recently brought the Wii..so i don’t have much idea about the games..my son is 7 years old…can someone suggest good games for me please.

  27. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Anon 9:43 — the best deal right now is Amazon. New price of $199 plus you get a $25 Amazon gift code back by email.

I just bought one 2 weeks ago! I have been stocking up on games through Ebay, but I will be buying some at Target for presents.

  28. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I did get to use the Buy 2 Get One Free & The Target Q this morning but only one per purchase so they won’t let you use more than one – you just have to go back another day!
On the cereal they say I could check out each box separately – this after they accepted all the coupons this weekend – but they’ve caught on 🙁

  29. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

How can I print only Wii games coupon from all those coupons??

  30. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Just got back from Target. It worked! I got 6 games (5-$14.99, 1-$19.99) for 39.xx. It would have been 5$ cheaper if I would have made them all $14.99. I checked out at the electonic counter. I don’t think they know or care about coupons. None of them beeped though.
I copied and pasted the Wii coupon into an email and printed it from there.

  31. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

i was able to get 6 wii games as well and use the 3 coupons. however, there aren’t great games (imo) for $15, so I had to buy some $20 games. still a great deal, but i was hoping to save more. i wish i had looked at the end of the checkout aisles!

  32. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I just got back from Target and the deal worked great for me too! Got 6 WII games for a little over $30.00 after tax. My cashier was so impressed and excited about the deal that I gave her the address to this site.

  33. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

We just got back from Target too. We got 2- $19.99 games and 4 – $14.99 ones and our total came to $42.36. Awesome Christmas gifts. So happy about this one. Plus this is the first time my Hubby was more excited about couponing than I was. LOL!

  34. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Target’s website says the deal is on “select Wii games”, is this the case or is it any Wii games??

  35. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Just got back! 3 games @ 19.99 and 3 games @ 29.99 total spent 75.73, total saved 79.98! I love when I save more than I spend! BTW all of the 14.99 where at the front by the check out and from what I could tell it was all games under 49.99.

  36. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I just went and the cashier would only allow me to use 2 instead of 3 $10 off coupons. I really feel like going back and seeing if customer service will take off the other $10 coupon. Think it could happen?

  37. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Ahhh, thank you so much for your great work on getting the word out on the Target Wii game deal. I called up my mother and we both went to Target and between the two of us, we agreed to share the total purchase price of 6 Wii games priced @ 49.99 each. After the discount of the two free games, we used three $10/2 Target Wii Game coupons and after tax, came out to only $30.30 a game!!! 🙂 Christmas shopping without the pushing. Great deal on those.

  38. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

It worked for me too!! I bought 6 games for the $49.99 price, those are the better games. Good deal, it came to around $30 each game.

  39. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Worked great for me..checked out in electronics..coincidentally by a manager…she was pumped for my good buy!

  40. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

worked for me! Yay! I got 6 games for stocking stuffers for a little over $30 (I had one that was $20…oops!) I am super excited about it!

  41. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

In reply how to print just that coupon and not ALL of them. My first attempt printing through firefox would only allow me to print ALL fifteen pages worth of the coupons. Ugg! Even specifying the page of the Wii coupon didn’t work but would produce a blank page.
So I opened internet explorer, and then I was able to print the Wii coupon (page 11 of 15 for me), multiple times. Hope this helps.

  42. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    Kara –

I am curious to know the reason why your cashier said she would take only 2 of your 3 coupons?! There is no reason for her not take all 3. I wouldn’t have left until she did. What reason did she give you?

This is a great deal! I actually took my daughter with me to Target today to have her pick out some games but she wasn’t interested in any of them at any price range. I guess she growing tired of her Wii system…….

  43. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    totally worked for me!

  44. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Anon 3:42 Thanks for the hint how to print coupon.

  45. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Anon 11:21 – My son is 7 yrs too, he loves Super Mario Galaxy. As far as I know from other ppl, Mario games are the best. Fun for the boys and adults too. Even my daughter (5) plays Mario game too.

  46. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

How long is the deal good? anyone know? Our targets don’t have self checkouts! Darn… My son is 8 and loves to play sonic, mario, pokemon revolution, Super Smash Brothers Brawl…etc.

I like to play the Wii too but only for the old school games that you can download onto the Wii 🙂

  47. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

arghh..now I’m bent. She said that I could only use 2 $10 off because I technically purchased 4( the other two being free with the in-store deal) What to do…

  48. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Sorry, to tell you but you should only be allowed to use 2 coupons. You are only paying for 4 games, not 6. If your Target is letting you get away with this you are lucky, but what you are doing is not right! I work at Target and our Target would not let you do this. Matter-of-fact, a supervisor has to put their code in to except the coupon.

  49. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Wahoo! I had no issue using coupons on the free games, but the guy did call a manager to make sure he could take more than 1 per transaction. He said they had the same situation earlier that day and they didn’t know what they were supposed to do. So he was super nice and used all three coupons, but sounds like if they hear otherwise from corporate, they will only take one per transaction.

I got 6 games for just under $160. 3 were $50 games and 3 were $40 games. Not sure I can claim to have “saved” much ’cause we never would have spent that much on games, lol. But it was fun. Haha! Thanks so much!!! =)
