   Jolene…using a coupon will not affect your Register Rewards in any way. There are some managers and cashiers that are misinformed with this information, but it is not true. 🙂 Do remember that you cannot use a RR to purchase an item that you are expecting to generate the same RR.

  You can start doing all the Jan. monthly deals now, so you’ll have about 4 days to make use of the Walgreens Healthy Savings coupon to use on top of the Register Reward deal.

    sort of off topic of walgreens but, I just got home from walmart and they have the glade jar candles that are holiday scented on clearance for $1.50 each. I am not sure what week of inserts these coupons are from but there is a coupon for $1.50 off two, so you could get two jar candles for $1.50!

    My Wal Mart had not put the Glade candles on clearance yet. They were still just putting them out for people to buy. I’ll keep checking though. The Christmas tins still have the 1.50 coupons in them so you can get them for free!

    Regarding the scrubbing bubbles… I also wanna do the deal and I’m thinking the cashier might not let me use the bogo refill coupon when he/she sees that I already got one free when i buy the kit. SO what I’ll do is have him/her ring up my 2 refills FIRST, then my other items then my sb shower kit. so that when i give out my bogo refill coupon, he/she will look at the receipt and won’t see that I got the other refill for free. =) just my 2 cents.

    Couldn’t one just buy 6 Tampax ( total $33.00 before tax) use 3 B1G1 Qs from 12/27 P&G,
    pay $15 and change after qs and still receive the free Tide Q? Or must it be $30 after Qs?

    Hi,
    I just wanted to let you know to be careful when buying grocery items at Walgreens….I bought creamer the other day and it expired shortly after. I also bought milk that wasn’t expired but it had gone bad, I am not sure they kept it cold enough. My son refused to drink it in his bottle and I finally checked it and I figured out why, it was spoiled!

  Yep – my Wags is the same way…too many competing ‘grocery’ stores nearby I think (latest example was Nabisco Crackers for me…expire at the end of January, and I just bought them at the beginning of this month)…I think they run sales to clear the shelf of the old stuff, too, so be careful.     I went to Walgreens today and bought $30 worth of products to get the coupon for the free Tide and the coupon for the Tide did not print. (everything I bought qualified) The manager did not know why it didn’t print. He said it might have been because I used coupons and my total after coupons was less than $11. I pointed out the add didn’t say anything about the total being after coupons and he went ahead and gave me the Tide since he saw that my purchase qualified. I was wondering if anyone else had the same problem.

    I was reading forum posts on afullcup.com and there are many other people that have had the same problem with the tide coupon not printing. Most of them say that the manager gave them the tide anyway or a gift card for the amount of the tide. Also, I was reading that the Quench lotion is not ringing up at 20% off…..

  I’m sorry you guys! I feel bad about the Triaminic deal. I guess the sale price that was available previously has gone up. I’m going to go ahead and delete the deal for now. Hopefully it will go on sale within the next couple weeks.

  The Triaminic is not on sale, but even if it’s priced @ 6.99 each, if I calculate correctly, it will still come out to about .98 for two. 6.99 x 2 = $13.98, less $4 (2 coupons @ $2), less $4 (2 Wags coupons @ $2) less $5 RR–which is available at the Wags I was at) That’s still a great deal! (BTW, Collin, thanks for all you do, I love your website!)

    The cereal RR does NOT require the milk. I tried it this afternoon — bought 2 boxes of Honey Nut Cheerios at 2/$4 and used 2 $1Qs. The $2 RR printed just fine even though I bought no milk. Free cereal!

    Question about all these P&G RR deals – can they all be rolled into each other? Can I do the Papmers deal and roll it into the Vicks deal and roll that one into the Mr.Clean / Tide / Bounce deal. Usually, when they’re the same manufacturer I just avoid rolling them into each other and find something else to alternate with. But, this week, I’m only planning on doing the P&G RR deals and would like to avoid having a bunch of RRs leftover.

    just got back from my walgreens trip:

    i bought

    3 olay quench lotion $7.99 each – $23.97
    1 olay quench lotion (smaller one) – $5.49 ( i dont know if this counts for the spend $30 get free tide RR deal so i bought other stuff)
    1 pantene large size $5.99
    1 dawn $0.99
    =$36.44 + $3.37 tax
    =$39.81
    -$6 free lotion wyb free lotion (got it from one of my mags)
    -$6 free lotion wyb free lotion (got it from one of my mags)
    -$3 off quench lotion (got it from one of my mags)
    -$3 off quench lotion (got it from one of my mags)
    -$2 pantene from vocalpoint
    =$19.81 ( i added some fillers used 2 $10 RR from pepto bismo deal)

    free tide coupon did not print. manager said it because i used rr’s and coupons. so i asked him if he could ring up again w/o RRs. he did it. no tide coupon. voided trans. he ring up again w/o any coupons whatsoever! so i paid $45 something… still no tide coupon. voided transaction. he rang it in another machine using all my coupons and rr’s. so he decided to ring up for the last time without any coupons or rr’s, still no tide coupon. so he just asked me to come back for the free tide because he had to ask the manager. but im still okay with that because i was able to use those q’s and after all is said and done… my total cost is: $19 something… minus the rebate of free olay lotion ($15.98) = about $3 plus i will get a free tide! weee!!! =)

    I did my trip this morning and can’t wait to go back – FYI – They took the $3 q from the 12/27 P&G for the Tide Stain Release, no beeps or anything. I also got the Honey Nut Cheerios RR without having to buy the milk. Yay!!! Fun trip to Wags!

  That’s not cool 🙁 – the $3 coupon specifies the sizes that it is for and they are not the sizes that are part of the RR deal. Just because you can get away with something wrong doesn’t make it right. Stuff like this gives couponers a bad name. There are tons of deals that you can take advantage of legally – there is no need to break the rules just to get a deal.

    There’s a colgate toothpaste walgreen coupon ($1.50/2 exp.01/31/10) in diabetes & you,
    with the current walgreen offer, it should work like this,
    Buy two colgate total 2.99 x 2 = $5.98 – 2 x $1 off manufacture coupon
    = $3.98 – $1.50 walgreens coupon
    = $2.48 – $1 RR
    = final price $1.48 ($0.74 ea)

    I am new to the couponing like you do, I just wanted to give it a shot by posting this to see if I was understanding the concept right. Althuogh, CVS has the better deal this week against this product !!

    Went to WAGS last night to do Tide/$30 deal. Did not print. Mgr was RUDE. Said I had to pay $30 after coupons….what? Blamed it on PG. Ad does not read that way…AT ALL. Had him void transaction, return my coupons/money…I’m sick of WAGS. Don’t know why I wasted my time going….

    I just got back from Wags last night and i scored the Always and Tampax deal and i really needed Laundry soap so i got another Two bigger Tides so i got Two free 50 oz tides and free always and pads… plus i had coupons for some tooth brush oral B and it gave me a 5.00 RR and used a 1.00 off coupon and an ad coupon 2.99 for some Aussie to pay for my free tide. i scored some pretty good deals Thanks Hip2save(.com!) hehe!! love the New site btw!

    I don’t think the Proctor and Gamble RR are rolling. I got the $5 RR this morning from the bounce/tide stain release/cascade and tried to use it towards to the Pepto Bismol later in the day. No $10 RR came out. The cashier tried to say it was because I paid for more than half my transaction with RR’s but I know better than that. She said it was a new policy that just started after Christmas because the company was losing so much money. I told her I wanted to void the transaction and she did but she also tore up my RR’s that I had purchased stuff with. Manager had to give me a gift card for that. I guess I can use that towards the Pepto. So….could others post if they have been able, or not able to use the P&G RR’s towards a different offer. Thanks!

    I just did the scrubbing bubbles deal with no problems. I purchased the scrubbing bubbles starter kit fo $13.99 and two of the SB refills for $5.29 each. One of the refills came off as free per the Wags promotion. I used a $7 coupon on the starter kit and I used the BOGO coupon on the other refill. Total paid was $6.99 plus tax and I’m going to submit for the $5 SC rebate. Sweet.
