Dave Ramsey ROCKS!! What he teaches is so simple. Do a budget. Stick to it. Get outta debt…live below your means. It’s like what my grandma who lived through the great depression would have taught me, but he is much cooler (sorry grandma!! 😉

I was going to do this but it only list two forms of payment, Debit Card or Bank Draft. For safety reasons I never pay by Debit Card on-line nor by a Bank Draft. Does anyone know if you can pay with Credit where it say’s Debit?
He does not take credit cards!! He teaches against using credit cards and does not take that as a form of payment…The only way you can purchase things from his site is with you debit card or bank draft! I think it is awesome that he goes with what he teaches instead of contradicting himself!

We do accept debit cards, but we do not accept credit cardsnever have, never will. Dave personally uses debit cards for purchases, and thats the advice he gives to America.
However, we want to say up front that our website debit card processing vendor handles debit cards just like credit cards. That means theres no way for us to allow our customers to use debit cards without opening up the possibility for them to use credit cards. So, weve got to trust you.
We hate credit cards, and quite simply, we dont want to sell you anything unless you can actually pay for it with real money. Anyone trying to use a credit card on our site has some serious integrity issues, and we honestly dont want to do business with people we cant trust. So dont try it!”

I promise you, Sophie… if it is on Dave’s site, it is secure. And he would not be Dave Ramsey if he allowed people to pay by credit card since he teaches that credit cards are dumb. ha!! he actually has said this on his show, that he cannot allow payment by cc when he teaches against them.
I was able to use my Credit Card with no problems. I had a friend use a debit card on-line once (not on Dave Ramsey’s site) and her whole bank account was wiped out and it was a big mess. I have one Credit Card that I use for on-line purchases that I pay off every month. This credit card company calls me anytime there is a purchase that looks suspicious on my card, so I prefer to use it over my debit card for on-line purchases. Thank you Collin! Sophie…your debit card is just as secure as your credit card if it has the Visa/Mastecard/AmEx logo on it. If your bank does not provide this, you might want to check into one that does. Also, as April says, Dave would not allow anything on his site that IS NOT secure and they won’t accept a credit card. Dave Ramsey himself uses his debit card whenever he “must” use a cc, such as reserving a hotel, etc.
I love love love Dave Ramsey!!! He literally changed mine and my family’s life. We are almost debt free. I highly recommend this. If you are on the fence DO IT!!!! If not look for a church or organization that offers his Financial Peach University!!!

we are huge DR fans, we are completely out of debt as of this past summer (except the house) and it could not have come at a better time. hubby was laid off in november and we really have no worries…no bills = no worries! i am not saying this layoff has been easy, mind you, but it is a whole lot easier than if we had credit cards and home equity loan hanging over our heads! i cant wait to get this book!

Dave is awesome! Took his class a year ago, had to put things on hold as we got preggie, then once the baby was born, DH got hurt at work. So we have had a lot of Murphy visits and if it was not for him, we would be in a whole heap of trouble right now.

In my opinion, I would try “total money makeover” first…..it actually tells you step by step how to get out of debt, but at this price I wouldn’t pass on buying the other book “more than enough.” If you are truly wanting to know exactally what you should be doing to get out of debt, “total money makeover” is the way to go. Maybe you could buy “more than enough” and save it for after you’ve read the other. Dave Ramsey is great…..his plan is so simple, you’ll love it!
TMM is the best for a condensed version of Dave’s teachings.

I had mine ready to go code worked and when I went to put in my card it did not work, said there was a problem with the card so I went and tried a different card and it would not go through then so I called them and they gave me the deal. They said you should not get that promotional code until you go to buy something and not go though with the order then they send the code. I said I did not know about that but a friend gave me the code and they said it did not matter that they would honor the deal anyway no matter how I got the code.
