scrabble slam is a great game. I would actually suggest 2 decks to make the game last longer and more fun. Great time to get them too!

    • givemeneither

Great idea! I’m going to grab a second game later this week.

  2. Tiphanie

I’m going to get the scabble one. We have monopoly deal and play it everyday. We love it. It was confusing at first, but after about 3 games we got the hang of it. We also have the pickurika card game and my 6 yr old likes it a lot. Not so fun for adults though.

  3. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

woah i’m totally going to pick up some!

  4. Jenifer

Has anyone done this yet. The coupons seem to indicate the larger games, but don’t really specify?

  5. Lisa

Walgreens has the Picturika game for 6.99. Not as great as Target, etc, but if you have RRs to use, too, you could get it free!

  6. jen

They are 5.24 at walmart too, I just got back and had no problems with the coupons at my walmart.Guesstures is 15.00 with coupon 10 dollars. Clue was on sale for 10.00 so 6 after coupon.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Sorry revenge was also 5.24 at walmart

  7. mkw

Yes. I’ve done the deal in the past at Target. Some stores allow you to use it and some don’t. Depends on the clerks and management. As always. . . you never know quite how you will be received in the checkout lane at Target!

  8. Shelly

I was able to do this deal at Target today. I got one card game each of monopoly, scrabble, and picturka all for $1.24 each after using 3 of the $4.00 off coupons. The coupon does not specify what game you have to buy. I think it shows the bigger board game just to make you think that you have to buy the bigger item!

Collin – I think the re-occuance of the lemon is great on your Monday videos! I wonder if the person that dogged you about them in the 1st place feels like a twit now! haha Keep up the good work!

  9. danielle

My Target wouldn’t let me use these for the travel-sized games. I even asked to speak with a manager, and the manager refused.

  10. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

These are going to make great stocking stuffers thanks!!

  11. Sarah

I used the coupons for the Monopoly, Scrabble Slam, and Pickureka Card Game today. They went through just fine:)

  12. Heather

I just tried to use these at my Wal-Mart and the register beeped and would not allow the cashier to accept it. I even asked a manager and pointed out that the coupon does not say “board” game. They still would not take them. I’m hoping I’ll have better luck at Target tomorrow.

  13. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    Did these beep at target???

    • Sarah

No beeps for me (Monopoly, Scrabble, and Pickureka), but I didn’t try it with the Sorry Revenge Card Game.

  14. Kristyn

Has anyone tried this @ the target in Olive Branch,MS or any area Memphis,TN stores? These clerks are very act very funny when you have coupons. They read each one very carefully & give you strange looks. I even had a lady argue with me when I was stacking a coupon & one of them beeped & she said look you already got $1 dollar off & put my other coupon in her drawer.

    • Missdeally

How rude. My ads usually have a statement on the top of one page that state “we will gladly accept one target coupon and one manufacturer coupon on one item.” I’m so mad for you. I would have pulled out my coupon policy and asked
for an apology. The nerve of some people!

      • Kristyn Jones

i always seem to get the rudest cashiers. I tried to use the CG $1 off coupon on some nail polishe for my girls that was only clearence for $1.84 so after coupon $.84, but the lady just looked @ the picture on the coupon & handed it back, i proceede to tell her that it states ANY CG product. When she scanned it wouldn’t go through & she wasnt about to make it so I made her take it back out of my bag. I so dislike the target cashiers here. Cant wait to go grocery shopping with my sister @ the commissary in 2 weeks. Anyone have any tips for shopping there?

  15. nikki

I just tried at my target and the coupons would not work for the cashier. she asked a manager and she said no, the coupons are for the board games. even though the coupon does not limit was size it does say game and the picture is not of a card game. so bummed!

  16. Leslie

I was at Target and the Clue game was marked down from 18 to 12…with the coupon it makes it 8. I thought this was a pretty good deal. God some of the other games that collin mentioned too.

  17. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Used the pictureka coupon at my target tonight…no beeps 😉 My Pictureka game was $5.29, .29 after Q!

  18. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Does anyone know when the coupons expire?

    • Kathi

      Mine say 3/7/10

  19. kristen

Pictureka Card Game is 5.99 at my target…still a great deal!

  20. kristen

oh and it beeped but it worked!

  21. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    Coupons expire 3/7/2010

  22. Amy

My local Kroger (Lebanon, OH) has several of the large board games on sale. The Sorry game was marked $7.49, so I paid $3.49 and the Scrabble game was on sale for $6.99, so I paid $2.99. The Pictureka Card Game was .99 after the $5.00 coupon. I had no problems with the Pictureka coupon going through.

  23. Stephanie

I did Scrabble Slam, Monopoly *something*, and Pictureka today at Target in Tallahassee, FL and they all worked just fine! Rainy days here we come! 🙂

  24. Jessica

I tried this at the Target in Rock Hill, SC tonight. I had the Scrabble Slam Card, Pictureka Card, Monopoly Card, and Sorry Revenge Card Games. The first three worked, but the Sorry Revenge Card Game beeped. At that point the manager (who was watching from one lane over) came over and wouldn’t allow me to use any of my game coupons. They also wouldn’t let me use the $1 off Johnson baby products for the trial sizes. 🙁

  25. tracy

They had Catch Phrase at walmart on sale for $7.00 and on coupons.com they are $5.00 off so $2.00 for a for a $10.00 game what a steal. I got 3 to put away for christmas and birthdays. I was so excited. Also got Monopoly, Pictureka, Scrabble Slam, Sorry cards too. I spent under $10. I was super excited!!

  26. Robin

Went to Target and got every game but Sorry the coupon wouldnt work for Sorry Revenge card game. Bummer but stocked up on lots of good games for our house and our cabin. Yeah!

  27. Melinda

Beeped at my Target. Cashier said it could only be used for the full size board games. Sigh. Sounds like I might have better luck at Walmart, so I’ll probably try that tomorrow. I hope it works there!!

  28. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I purchased Scrabble Slam as part of my Boyfriens v-day present the other day. I didn’t have the coupon but it did ring up $1.25 less than the posted price. I think it came to $3 something and the sign said $5 something. I will be going back to stock up on these games. They are great for presents, camping and traveling.

  29. Haley

Just got back from Target and wasn’t able to use the coupons for the card games. Coupon wouldn’t go through. The cashier was very nice but said it was for the full size games. Oh well, maybe I’ll try Walmart.

  30. Jody

I just got the Scrabble Slam card game and the Pictureka card game at Target. No beeps, no problems! What a great deal!!

  31. Matthew

blogged about the deals and linked to you! thanks!

  32. Patricia

No go at my Target either. She took the coupons and games to the CS desk and said “board games only”. Boohoo

  33. Little_e99

At Target today, I asked the cashier right away and she scanned them. All the games were fine (Scrabble, Monopoly and Pictureka) except the Sorry game. The cashier pushed the Sorry coupons through. Also at Target, there are promotional card games for $5.99 with $5 coupons inside for these Hasbro games: Sorry, Monopoly Championship, Pictureka Flipper, Monopoly City, Scrabble Deluxe, Sorry Sliders, Scrabble and Pictureka. So overall I paid $13.92 for 8 games and got back $40 in coupons! Plus, the additional coupons don’t expire until 12/31/2012. So I’m thinking lots of games for birthdays and Christmas!

  34. SCgirl

Tried to use these at a Target in SC and the cashier was rude when I handed her the coupons, first one went through but when she tried the Sorry Revenge it wouldn’t take it. Then she called the front manager and they said “No” and wouldn’t let me use any of the coupons. bummer!

  35. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I got the $5 coupons inside mine too!!! Since they don’t expire until 2012, there is plenty of time to wait for a sale!

  36. Tara

I used the monopoly, scrabble, and pictureka coupons at Walmart and they worked fine. The Sorry coupon beeped and they wouldn’t take that one. I paid 24 cents each for the others though. I also got 2 my little ponies for $2.50 each. The lady behind me in line said, wow, you know how to shop. Thanks so much for all the great deals. I seriously love you and your site! My daughter will love the ponies for her birthday and the games will make great Christmas gifts. Thanks for all you do! Seriously!

  37. Brooke

I tried to use the Sorry coupon today at Target (in IN)and the register beeped. She told me that it is for the Sorry game that is pictured. She acted put off when I gave her the coupons. Oh well, I will have to try at another Target or at Walmart the next time I’m there.

  38. sharon

Worked at Target as stated, the clerk was very impressed with me! Thank you for posting!

  39. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I just got back from Wal-Mart bought the Monopoly, Scrabble Slam, and Pictureka card games. None of the coupons beeped but the cashier just rolled her eyes and walked over to another cashier to see if she could do it. I’m happy I got all the games I wanted and these will make great stocking stuffers for our family for Christmas so THANK YOU 🙂

    • bfam

Just got back from Target with the Scrabble, Monopoly, & Pictureka card games. They were $5.99 each before Q’s. No beeps!

  40. Jenny

I picked up the Scrabble Scram and Pictureka games at Target yesterday. The coupons wouldn’t scan, and the man asked if they were Target coupons of MC. I said MC and then he pushed some buttons and they went through.

These will be great for our road trip this Fall! Thanks!

  41. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks so much for this deal. They make great Valentines gifts and also prizes at Game Night. I went last night and no beeps for Monopoly, Pictureka or Scrabble, but Sorry did beep and the cashier said its only for the board game pictured. I am off to a different Target tonight to try again.

  42. Janne'

My local Walmart had electronic catchphrase on rollback for $20. I stacked 2 coupons from coupons.com (the $5 catchprhase & $5 Hasbro coupon). Maybe not a steal, but got it for $10.

I just noticed that Coupons.com has 2 different scrabble coupons (deluxe game save $10 & general scrabble coupon $4) if I can find the deluxe at a decent price I’ll stack these and save $14 w/ coupons!

    Happy Shopping!

    • Janne'

I forgot to mention that The game called “things” also applies to coupons.com stacking “hasbro coupon” and things game coupon for a total of $10 off. I’m on my way to see if my memory was good & toys r us is selling it for $15.00!

    • CheapMama

I didn’t know you could do that. Does that work for everything? Like if I have 2 coupons for chips and they are completely different amounts off and exp.dates? What scenarios can you do that double manufacturer “deal” with?

      • Janne'

I couldn’t say for sure. I am a baby couponer–and am only just beginning, but after looking over a few coupons for the same product with different prices, it would seem that stacking them could be possible at some stores. Every different dollar off coupon comes with a different UPC code. Unless a grocers system flags it, I say it’s worth a try.

  43. Casey

Hi Monoply Deals game rocks! My husband and I play it all of the time! I think all of these games would be a great shower gift.
Or good for a classroom auction basket.

  44. JessicaB

I just got back from Target and got the pictureka and scrabble card games for a total of $1.48!!

  45. CheapMama

I just got back from my Wal-mart (here in NW). They have the Monopoly Junior Disney Channel Edition board game on clearance for $5. If yiou use the $4 off coupon it’s only $1! I bought 3 because I have a 9 year old daughter and she is always going to bday parties! These will make great gifts I think.

  46. Sarah

How is Janne’ stacking the $5 off Hasbro game coupon with the other coupons for the games. If they are both manufacturers coupon you can’t use 2 on the same product can you?

    • Janne'

I am not sure how I did it, but I did 🙂 Walmart allowed me to stack for catchphrase. Toys R Us allowed me to stack for the Game of Things (for a total of $7…on a game that is usually $26). My guess is that the “hasbro” is brand specific with several gaming options as opposed to the game specific coupon.

  47. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for the tips! I went to the Target in KY today and had no problems. I bought the Scrabble, Monopoly, and Pictureka card games. They were each $5.24 a piece. They did not beep. Good luck!

  48. anon

I’m so excited. I got Scrabble slam for $.24, Pictureka for $.24, Monopoly Deal for $1.99 and Sorry Revenge for $1.99 and I got TWO My Little Ponies (they were on price cutback and they came with a 30-minute DVD – SO CUTE!!) for $3.99!!!!! I used the BOGO coupon on the My Little Ponies rang up at $4.99 each, but the coupon took off $5.99. WOOHOOO!!!

    • Janne'

What store did you score these deals at? Great job!
