I bought scrabble, monopoly and some other one (mommy brain FULL ON!) This deal is a Target…but well worth it I thought! Get some games now and stock up more for later!

Ok, so this will make your “donkey” hotel seem like nothing…one time recently, I had to go to Vegas for a work project. Whenever I go out of town, I always bring my 3 kids with and they stay at the hotel with my mil or my neice. We got to Vegas and literally dropped them off and ran to work. When we got to the hotel late at night, I might add, we walked in and realized we were in stripper heaven. It was like a place where dirty old business men bring young skanky strippers to do sick things. No offense to anyone reading this. There were mirrors everywhere including on the ceilings as well as naked art all over the walls. Now, this may be some peoples cup of tea, but not mine, esp with 3 kids under 6 in tow. I immediately went to the concierge and checked my family OUT of that place and moved to a much nicer hotel. Anyhow, as we were leaving, we noticed stripper clubs on 3 of 4 street corners. So enjoy your donkeys and keep in mind, there are worse things in life than donkeys…lol!

Crusty? Please!. lol Man Florida is so warm (most of the time)! Too bad you dont have time to make it down to Siesta Key in Sarasota. One of the top beaches! White soft sand! Use to live there for a short period.

My computer speakers went to pot, and would have waited a while to get new ones, (Goodwill “new ones”!) but had to get them right away so I could watch AND listen to your videos. Well, make sure to review the hotel on one of those hotel review websites and let everyone know on there that the hotel will not refund your deposit.
And for goodness sake, you can show us the donkeys and the inside of your room without disclosing the name of the hotel. We want to experience the whole trip.

We recently had 6 in. of snow here and much of it is still on the ground, the weather is calling for more snow this weekend so the view of the palm tree’s sure looked good to me.Thanks to your video I was in Florida and warm 🙂 Hey down the road here, you can buy a real donkey for less then $90.00.

I can’t wait to see the Donkeys! My hubby and I once had to stay in a cabin at a Christmas Tree Farm – the floor was crooked and they couldn’t find the key, my hubby had to climb in the window…lol… Have a blast gals!

Show us the donkeys! The strangest hotels (if you can call them that) I’ve ever stayed in have been in Florida. 🙂 One place we stayed was like walking into someone’s bedroom. There was a desk/bookshelf filled with all kinds of weird (old and dirty) books and knickknacks. I don’t recall any donkeys though… he he
While you are in Tampa there is a cheap but OH SO GOOD Cuban restaurant named La Teresita. It is by the football stadium where the Bucs play (just google it). They give you so much food and it is well worth it. And where are you staying that there are donkeys? That is nuts.

Is “crusty” only a NC/VA thing??? I live in VA and have used and understand the term “crusty.” LOL For those that don’t know, crusty means you aren’t necessarily dirty but you aren’t fresh anymore. Either it has been a while since you were able to freshen up and/or you’ve been in public places where loads of people have been so they just aren’t really clean. So you feel crusty! You need to freshen up – fresh deo, fix your hair, spray on some perfume, brush your teeth, etc.

Donkeys??? Where the heck are you guys? I live in “Tampa Bay” – over on the beaches side of the Bay in Clearwater. There are SO many great hotels in the area – I can’t imagine one with donkeys that charges $90!
Don’t stay by the Airport tomorrow – that area of town is crappy! Check the rates at the Holiday Inn Express in Dunedin (about 40 min West of the Airport) 727-450-1200. Dunedin is a great quirky little town, full of fantastic restaurants and artsy shops all within walking distance of the hotel.
It seems like this trip would have been a great time to try out Priceline to show us how to save money on hotel rooms. Or, is that what you did to get the donkey hotel? 😀

I use to live around the Tampa area and I was surprised when you said that you were staying at a hotel with donkeys around it. I don’t believe I ever saw a donkey when I lived down there other than the zoos. Good Luck on your adventure!
