WOW! Check out this awesome bargain you can score at Toys R Us! Thru 2/27, the Pictureka Flipper game is on sale for just $6.98! Plus, you can use the $5/1 coupon from here to bring the cost of this game down to just $1.98! Now that’s what I call a sweet deal!

If Toys R Us is sold out, then I suggest heading on over to Walmart or Target to do a price match. Just make sure to bring in the Toys R Us weekly ad, so they can honor the $6.98 price.

(Thanks for this awesome deal, CouponingToDisney!)

This game was on the shelf for $15 at Walmart, but rang up for $1.00. Plus the cashier let me use the coupon.

    • Courtney

      Which Walmart?

  2. Joy

My boys who are almost 8 and 11 were not impressed with this game. They got it for Xmas. I paid about $7 for it after coupon when it was on sale at TRU for $12 (I think it was originally $24). Maybe the regular Pictureka game is better, but not this version. Just FYI.

  3. Emily

What walmart did that game ring up at a $1?

  4. SaraJC

Just wanted to mention that walmart has these on clearence for $5! I got 5 of them free ! hehe. I used the $5/1 q’s that came inside the card games that I had also purchased with coupons at walmart. Target seems to sell the card games higher with the coupon that comes inside them but walmart sells it for the same regular price. Though they always seem to make a big deal over the game coupons, I still managed to use all of my coupons after discussing over them. grrr

Our Toys R Us in VA will not accept internet coupons. ๐Ÿ™ Walmart deal sounds awesome though!!

      • Courtney

Mine will not accept them either ๐Ÿ™ Boooo to toys r us. Going to do it at Walmart though ๐Ÿ™‚

        • Nicole

if you did the playing card deal at walmart.target and get the monopoly or scrabble with the 5 dollar coupon inside of it. You can use that or in some magazines this month there is one I want to say it was family circle but I have so many subsriptions thanks to Collin! I’m not 100% sure

      • Julie Ann

Where are you in VA? Ours here in Richmond does!

      • Meghan

I’m in Hampton Roads, VA and they won’t accept internet coupons either. I tried today but they wouldn’t accept them. They only take their internet coupons. They told me they had a really big probably with coupon fraud and that is why they will no longer accept them. They said there was one guy who used the same coupon 200 times!!!! It was some $5 transformer coupon. He came in day after day with copies of the coupon. There is always one in the bunch to spoil it for everyone. ๐Ÿ™

  5. Angelene

Will Target Or Walmart price match if you print out the Toys R Us ad?

    • Buggers Mom

Yes but I would call ahead just to be sure. Mine does that here in Weirton, WV

  6. Jessica

Spokane, Wa–saw them on sale yesterday!

  7. Sue

I could use the coupons on some card games last time, but not today in the same store. ๐Ÿ™

  8. Melissa

Use a $5/1 Pictureka on specially marked card games and get another $5/1 inside!

  9. Jaclyn

Yay Spokane, Washington!! I went and got one tonight. They still had a few left

  10. jen

can u just bring in a copy of the ad from the internet or do you need the whole store sale ad when doing a price match at Walmart or Target?? I just threw out my paper to recycle this morning! UGH, don’t feel like diggin um out…

    • tracy

my walmart won’t let me use internet printed ads, only the whole store ad will work for me. I would suggest calling ahead to find out

We went to two different TRU’s… They were both sold out, the one in our town would have accepted the coupon and even tried to order it on line for us, it was sold out.

Wal-Mart is not supposed to price match this deal because it is a clearance item, TRU just chose to list it in the weekly ad like a lot of items this week…

TRU was nice enough to give me a copy of the ad to take to Target where they price matched it. It was marked at 15.09 at Target, they were wonderful as well. They did let me know it is their policy to only accept ads that are from the newspaper which our paper does not send out so look for a nice person. We had three people and I purposefully waited for the young twenties girl:)

  12. Carol

I used to work at Walmart, and it clearly states in their “rules” that they will match any local competitor’s advertised price. You DO NOT have to have the ad. They will tell you that you do, but if you push it, and they look it up, it’s the CSM’s job to verify a price match.

In Nebraska yesterday @ Kmart I used the $5 Q and bought a Pictureka 300 piece puzzle for $1, great for my gift tote!

  14. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I went to our TRU this am and they had about 8 left. I had 4 (newspaper) coupons but only bought 2. I bought 2 travel size Sorry games instead. It came to about $10 with tax ($28 before coupons).

My daughter got the Pictureka game for Xmas and we enjoy it. It may not be for everyone though.

There were Hasbro game coupons in the 2/7 newspaper–one of the magazines–for these games. I bought 7 newspapers that week because of the Olay coupons. The game coupons were a bonus. I got an extra 14 or 21 coupons (can’t remember). I find myself using newspaper or magazine coupons more lately but still use internet too. I personally think the newspaper coupons are cheaper in the long run because I can buy newspapers with RR or CVS deals.

    • Nicole

I never thought of using RR for newspapers!!! Great idea =)

  15. Chuck stay at home dad.

My Toys R US would not let me use coupon because it didn’t match the picture on the coupon. Looked closer when I got home and the wording on the pic. is in German I think.
I think they are just lazy and didn’t want to give me the deal. Cols. Ohio

  16. Nicole

I got 7 of these so far at my Walmart they are 19 bucks still even price checked them but I cleared the shelf at Toys R us in Merriville, IN they only had 2!!!! But the Toys R Us in Bedford Park, IL has a lot!!!! so I got 4 last night going back tonight because I forgot I had another coupon! So I’ll get a total of 7 for about 17.50 less than the price of ONE at Walmart!!!!! Planning on giving them out as gifts except one for me!!!! Oh and I only used the coupons in the cards games not the internet print out. Also there was a 5 dollar coupon in one of the magazines this month maybe it was Family circle.

  17. Tara

A little off topic, but does anyone know when Target’s markdown days are? Or are they random? Their super sized items are being clearanced down, just wondering when I can get them at lower cost ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Courtney

They are normally Thursday but some stores are different.

      • Tara

        Thanks Courtney

  19. Courtney

Toys r us does not actually have a print ad this week just the online one. I went to the store and asked for one and they said all they have now are the print ones to save money none of my Sunday papers had them either ๐Ÿ™

  20. Courtney W

I went to Toys R Us & found original Sorry in travel size for $6.99 while looking for Pictureka Flipper… so I walked out with 2 games for $4. Thanks hip2save

  21. Megan

Went to my local TRU (Lewisville, TX) and got 2 of these for $1.98 each after coupons. I also picked up a cute game called Monopoly Town that was clearanced for $9.98 and used my $4off coupons. Got 2 large method laundry doap that were on clearance for $6.98, so only $3 after my coupons for the large size. Walked out spending $20 for 4 games to go in my gift closet and 2 large Method laundry soaps:)

  22. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

has anyone been able to price match at target or walmart without having the actual ad? its been so frustrating for me. i squeezed in a trip to target in between my cancer treatment. i had a body scan done, then was told it would be 2-3 hours until they get the radiation pill for me, so i went to target with the printed copy of the ad… only to be told they would NOT do it without the actual ad. i explained my situation, that i would be radioactive after i go back to the hospital and not allowed around people for 5 days… they would not budge. i have 2/21 sunday newspaper too….the toysrus ad is not in there! two toysrus store my husband went to both said they dont have the actual ad either, just a copy sent to them from corporate. how do you price match a competitor’s ad when the competitor doesnt have an ad out?!?!

  23. Brittany

At my Wal Mart there were catch phrase music edition games on clearance for $10……I was able to use the coupon for $5 off catch phrase electronic on the hasbro game night website with the pictureka coupon and score the game for $5 bucks, I just gave it as a birthday gift!

  24. tina

woohoo!! Got two for $1.98 :0)

  25. Kara

Darn! I just saw this game at Wal-Mart clearance for $5! But I forgot to print the coupon before it was gone. Arg! Hope others can find it on clearance.
