It has been reported that 2 cereals are priced as low as $1 per box at Walmart. First, I’ve heard reports from a few readers and bloggers that the new Wheaties Fuel Cereal may be priced at $1. Plus, you can use the $1/1 coupon from here to possibly score a FREE box! Also, Rhonda, a reader, emailed about General Mills Chocolate Cheerios being priced at just $1 too. She is located in Groves, Texas. Plus, you can use the $0.55/1 coupon from here or the $1/2 Cheerios coupon from the 2/21SS to possibly get a box for as low as $0.45!

My Walmart never seems to have quite the low prices others report, so I just called to do a price check. Both cereals at my local Walmart are priced at $2.50 per box. Please don’t make a special trip to Walmart for these cereals. I just like to post deals like this so you can keep your eyes peeled and possibly get lucky!

(Thanks, Money Saving Madness, Krazy Coupon Lady, Rhonda, and all the readers who emailed!)

My wal-mart always seems to have higher prices, too… BUUUT, In my Saturday paper plastic-baggie-holder-thingy a couple of weeks ago there was a free sample of chocolate Cheerios and a $1.00 off coupon! Possibly FREE cereal! I’ll be checking on my next trip FO SHO!

priced at $2.50 per box at my WalMart today (Maryland). I passed even though I had coupons for both – they don’t expire for a while, I got cereal for 99 cents per box at CVS =)

At the Super Walmart in Missoula, MT. I found the Chocolate Cherrios at a $1.50 a box. I had the $.55 coupons to use, not too bad of a price.

$2.50 at my Walmart too. Quick question, anyone a member of RedPlum’s Secret Sales? What is it about and is it worth it? Thanks!

I wonder why some walmarts are so chear, and where I can find one…mine is always WAY higher

  7. Kristine

My WM is $2.50 for the Wheaties Fuel, which is actually a good deal, Meijer wanted $4.25 for that tiny box. No way!

  8. Cath

$2.50 a box in St Paul, MN.

  9. Abby

Our Commissary has tear off coupons for $1 off Chocolate Cheerios in the cereal aisle.

McChord Air Force Base in Washington

  10. Liz

$2.50 at my Walmart too in Anaheim, CA

Mine is at $2.50, but my walmart always has things higher then normal due to living in a college town. They know college students will pay the price. I normally shop at kroger or save-a-lot (for certain items) and then normally price match from Meijers and walgreens (we don’t have either).

Wheaties fuel was $1 at my walmart in la marque, tx. Do not go to the self check out with the wheaties coupon it will beep and will take the walmart person several minutes to get it to take the coupon. Maybe it was just the self check out having issues because it wouldn’t take the cetaphil coupon either. Coupons had to be punched in manualy.

wheaties fuel is 2.07 in anniston al

  14. Nicole

the cheerios coupon in my 2//21 insert was for 50 cents off. It also had a dollar of the wheaties. Though the blogs that have listed this deal don’t mention that, so this works out the same way, I just wouldn’t need to print the Wheaties coupon… just mentioned so the ones who received it would know…

I actually got a sample (an actual size box) of the chocolate Cheerios recently from Psst…. in the mail and a bunch of coupons! 🙂 I will have to check WM out with fingers crossed. The choc. Cheerios were actually pretty tasty.

Last time I was in WalMart in Richmond, VA (last week, I think), choc Cheerios were $2.50 a box. Never seem to have the rock bottom deals others report. Didn’t have card games marked down, either.

  17. Mindy

I was just at WM on Sunday and these cheerios are 3.75! arg…

  18. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I’m in Richmond, VA and just came back from Walmart. They still have some of those Glade Christmas Tins left and they’re marked at $1.12. They had some $1.50 peelie coupons on them, which made them free plus overage. Plus you can do the $5 SC Johnson rebate. Next time you make it to Walmart go see if they have any of those left.

  19. Jessica

Spokane, Wa, and both cheerios and wheaties are $2.50 a box

  20. Tracy

Went to Walmart in Thomson, Georgia on Saturday and found the Wheaties Fuel Cereal on sale for $.75. Used the $.75 printable coupon and scored FREE cereal. WooHoo!

My hubby and I tried the cereal Sunday morning for breakfast and loved it!

  21. Stephanie

The commissary has both for $1.99 a box and my husband found some $1/1 (one for each cereal) on a tasting table. I know the price varies from commissary to commissary but I am so excited about this deal!

Anyone in Austin, TX had them be $1? I saw another blogger say they were $1 here too but just curious at which Walmart because the Cedar Park store had them for $2.50 a box. Bummer!

  24. Mary

    has anyone tried these?

  25. Frances

Dunlap, Tn $2.75 They offered samples of them at my Walmart and they tasted great.

  26. betty-jo

Wheaties fuel-granola, cinnamon, tiny flakes, rice crisps, honey. Crunchy and filling.

  27. Susan

The Chocolate Cheerios taste like Cookie Crisp to me. Very good without the large size of Cookie Crisp.
