Olay Rebate Ends Today + Deal Scenario!
I just want to quickly remind you, today, March 12th, is the last day to purchase Olay products for the $15 rebate. If you’re new around here, you just need to purchase ANY 3 Olay Facial Moisturizers, Facial Treatments, Facial Cleansers, Hand & Body Lotions, Body Washes or 6+ Bar Soap Packs to score a $15 rebate! To submit for the rebate, you must complete the rebate form, mail in your original dated sales receipt(s) with the items circled, and write in each item’s UPC code on the rebate form (limit one rebate per household).
Have you not submitted for the rebate yet? Well, you’re not too late. Just head to Walmart or Target tonight and pick up 3 travel size Olay Body Washes priced at around $0.99, for a total of $2.97… THEN submit for the $15 rebate to turn this into a $12 moneymaker!

That’s exactly what I did! I didn’t find the trial size at target, but I bought them at wal mart for 97 cents each! I haven’t received my rebate yet, but hopefully it works since it says ANY three. The only exclusion is the bar soap.
whew, you had me worried for a sec, i bought the 6 pack bar soaps for my rebate..i see now that you meant it had to be at least a 6 pack :)…can not wait for my rebate!

Me too – I got the free Helluva good product coupon, free 3 pack sample diapers, free arm and hammer toothpaste, free sample of the zone perfect choclate nutrition bar, nad the pitted dried plum sample – gave that to my hubby to eat 🙂 Oh I go tthose yesterday! So cool!

I got my rebate from the Olay Quench Body Lotion for $15.54 last Sat. I sent in the $15.00 rebate the 1st. I’m hoping that these are 2 seperate offers and I get the other.? I had heard that if your total was less than $15 on the reciept they would only send you the amount you actually spent. I have not gotten mine back, but after coupons I think my total was like $12.50, so we will see!
I have heard the same thing from other sites.
I think the rebate is for purchases up to 15.00 dollars…..they will reimburse you for the amount you spend.
I really don’t think Olay is going to give a 15.00 check to people that only spend 3-4 dollars.
I think it depends on the rebate. Olay had a few that you get the item free, so they only send you a check for your purchase price. For the last $15.00 rebate, I got the full $15.00 and I only spent 3.50.

I paid $6 for two regenerist cleansers. They wer only $6 each before coupons. I still got the full $15rebate back even though non sale and precoupon price was only $12. Hth
I bought 2 facial cleansors for a total of $6.00 (I had 2 $3 off coupons) and submitted for the rebate. Yesterday I got my full $15.00 Oil of Olay Rebate and deposited it today!
off topic, but i just wanted to share an amazing walgreens deal i got today. bertolli frozen meal (lasagna) was on clearance for $2.29 (reg price $5.99) and I had a $1.50 off printable (from the save-a-lot site last month) so I got it for 69 cents!!! Also, free G2 gatorade using in-ad coupon, the black & white printed march coupons (are in-store with the weekly ads) and the gatorade coupon from the RP in february. So my subtotal for 2 gatorades and a bertolli meal was only 69 cents 🙂
You can still do the deal at dollar general. The Olay body wash rings up as 1.78 and then use the $1 coupon, which makes each only 78 cents.

Just to let everyone know…I called customer service tonight to verify that the trial/travel size works and they said no…I was one product short and I happened to get the free covergirl/olay makeup at rite aid this week and they said that it qualifies! ALSO…i asked if I used coupons in my transaction do I get back just what I paid or the whole $15 and she said no matter what was paid I will get the $15 back. Yipeeeeeeeee! 🙂

I’m filling the form out and the Cover Girl/Olay makeup has a totally different format for the UPC code. I’m going to send it in and see what happens. I got all 3 products for free, so if it doesn’t work I can’t be too disappointed!

I bought three Olay body washes using the coupon that was buy a venus embrace or venus breeze and get an olay body wash free so I had three full size that I actually got for free but on the receipt it just shows the regular price. They were like $7 each so it should be no problem on mine. I am going to make $15 YAYAYAYAY!!!!

I got my rebate from J&J the other day and that’s the first one ever. I was so excited! Today, I got the olay rebate(for only 7.99 purchase price), that part is okay, but the post office ripped my check and taped it back together, put it in thier own USPS envelope. What now?

I received my rebate check last week and it was actually for $20.98. whoooaaaa!!! They reimbursed me for the purchase price and I had a b1g1 free coupon. So I got both items free + major overage!
I love rebates just as much as the next person, but aren’t you being a little ridiculous trying to buy the travel size items? Do you actually feel like you’re a good person and being honest by doing that??
Geez, I got the rebate form back saying it was rejected b/c of an invalid upc #…I called CS and they said they don’t have a record of that UPC in their system…LOL. I got the total effects body wash (NOT travel size from Target for $5.50 each). I think they thought I was making up the product. After 2 hours, calling 3 different numbers, they are reimbursing me. Thought I’d mention it just in case someone else purchased the 8.4oz total effects body wash.

I pulled up the upc codes on amazon just fine, so I cannot see why it was rejected. Filled out the form correctly and submitted my receipt with purchase product and price circled all by 2/17/10. Mine was just returned today 3/22… The letter said my form did not include the correct UPC9S) required from this promotion. Only the UPC symbpls from the products listed in the offer requirements are acceptable.” The form states any 3 body washes… I’m just aggravated tonight and Olay closes at 6:00 pm EST, so I’ll have to wait til tomorrow to get it cleared up…

see my comment below – don’t count on clearing it up. I called and read off the UPC and was told that one item (Radiance Ribbon BW) is excluded even though no exclusions were mentioned on the form. And I can’t do a dang thing about it. Makes me spitting mad.
I bought the Olay botanicals at Dollar General and mine was returned today. After customer service couldn’t help me I asked to speak to a supervisor and of course they were gone for the weekend. They cannot put ANY and not have exclusions and expect us to know what isn’t allowed. Someone mentioned they were told there was only one on the list (the Ribbons). I was told 2 were on the list…honestly, I think they are adding exclusions as they go! And, when he checked my UPC, he asked me if it was Zest bar soap!!!

I bought the Olay botanical body washes too and it was rejected. I called and they said to write on the rejection letter that I called customer service and the botanical body washes are part of the rebate and to resend everything to this address: Olay customer service, PO box 72699, Rockford Minnesota 55572. Hopefully it goes through this time.
CAREFUL! I just got my rebate form and receipts back today with a letter that one of the 3 Olay Ribbon Body Washes I bought did NOT qualify. I called the 800 # and asked about the UPC code they said was incorrect – she said it’s just one item and it’s not valid. All the other Ribbon BWs are acceptable except the green Radiance Ribbons. I asked how I could possibly know that when there’s no exclusion listed on the form. She said there really isn’t any way, sorry. And there’s nothing I can do because the ending date of the rebate has passed. Olay STINKS!

That is definitely not fair. The form says ANY body wash so they should honor it. I am not that optimistic about them accepting my rebate a second time. I don’t think I will be doing an Olay rebate again.
I wont be doing another Olay rebate either, my form was sent back, eventhough I bought the right products.
I emailed customer service from the Olay website and received this response:
I’m sorry you had trouble with the Olay Rebate offer. We value your loyalty as an Olay consumer and will share your comments with our Olay Team and Promotion agency responsible for the offer.
As a one time, goodwill gesture, I’ll be happy to send the $15 rebate check from this office. You’ll receive it in the next 2-3 weeks.

A one time goodwill gesture? I am glad you are getting your rebate, but that is kind of a condescending response to your complaint. They offered a rebate and they need to honor it! I got an email about another Olay quench lotion rebate, but I’m not sure I want to waste my time.
I got the same thing. I just wrote Olay and this is what I said, I will keep everyone posted how they respond.
I recently sent for the $15 rebate. I just received it back saying that it “did not included the correct UPC(s) required for this promotion” and I could “resubmit your entire corrected order along with this letter by 4/29/2010”. Seeing how the rebate said ANY and I sent 3 UPC of Body wash and one kind was rejected. How am I to know WHICH ones are to be included when they are not clearly listed?! I am confused. I was going to try the Olay Quench and send in for that rebate but I am not sure I will do any more, considering this one was so deceiving. I need to know if you know WHICH products ARE included in this rebate to see if I have other items that WILL qualify.
Update, got email today I will call and see which items they say are included

I just realized how many typographical errors there were on this email that was sent to me, I just copied and pasted and oh my if this is how they run the business :-
Called they told me that the 2 numbers which were the same . . . are valid upc codes!!! That I just need to resend and they will give special consideration and that she would put a note in my account. we shall see tha happens.
I received my submission back as well saying that my 6 pack of bar soap didn’t qualify. I called the number and she had me resubmit my form to another address. That was two weeks ago and I called today and they said I have to 4 more weeks to even see if they have gotten my resubmission 🙁 ! I read the UPC code a million times and it is the correct one. The lady asked me about 4 times if I was SURE the soap said Olay! um yes it is in front of me and I can read, so it says Olay. It was the one for sensitive skin so I hope this isn’t another one of those “exclusions” they don’t tell you about! And this will be way past the date in which I can return them. If I don’t get this one, I will never do another Olay rebate again either!
Glad to see that I,m not the only one who got my submission back. I purchased the Olay Botanical Body Washes. I will be calling the 800 # on Monday to see what I can do. Such a PAIN!!
