i know this is a terrible question but will kmart price match the target ad? i have a gift card for there i need to use and dont feel like driving 30mins to get to target….but i hate kmart to dont want to go lol

Courtney, same thing happened to me – none of the ones I spied at our local Target had anything special on the outside &, like you, I assumed it was inside…. nope! Oh well, my daughter loves George….

purchased the dvd yesterday at Target- it has a little sticker on the outside about the $5
just purchased at Target this morning and NONE of them had the $5 peelie on the front. i did buy it on Friday at ToysRUs when the BOGO sale was going so I’m going to take the un-peelie one back to ToysRUs since they have the exact same barcode. yay!
Do most stores accept Discover cards? Or prepaid Discover cards? (Is that what this would be?!)

I found these at Target in Rogers, AR today. They were back in the movie section. The ones by the registers did not have the sticker on them. I decided to pass on this deal. It says in the fine print, “while supplies last”. Now my question – what is their supply? Is it a ploy to get you to purchase the movie and they only have 100 or so (less?) gift cards? I’ve been burned on these types of deals before and don’t really need the movie, so I’m passing!

My target had a display by the registers and they were marked as $13.99. We scanned it and it was in fact $6.99…. yay!!! thanks a lot for sharing this awesome deal.
I bought my copy at Target today but I don’t see a coupon on the outside at all. I haven’t opened it. For those of you who have opened it and bought it at Target– take your receipt and they will exchange it for the EXACT item (due to copyright laws they cannot exchange it for another item or refund your money) and then look for one with a peelie. I didn’t see mine– but I may just return it to Target and then go to Kmart tomorrow if I can’t find the DVD peelie!

I went to my Target and there was only one DVD with the sticker and the rest without. I picked up the one with the sticker, but I am now wondering if the code will actually be inside. Where do I find the code? Is the code supposed to be once you take the seal of the DVD or just inside the cardstock cover on a loose piece of paper? I am hesitant to open it if the code is not inside because once I open the DVD I can’t take it back for a refund and I want to make sure the code will be there!
I just bought this tonight for $6.99. There were about six Curious George 2 DVD’s at the store, but only one had the sticker on the front, for the $5.00 Grocery Cash. I wonder if it’s only specially marked DVD’s with this sticker or if all the Curious George 2 DVD’s have the special code inside to redeem for the Grocery Cash?
Ok, I went to Target and tried to find the Curious George 2 movie. However I can across Curious George: Meet the Pirate and in front of the box was a peelie from that says ” Save $3.00 on Curious George 2 when u purchase this movie and other selected Curious George movies listed”. I thought ok maybe I would do that. But the price of the video was $12-$16. So I decided against it when I found CG 2 that did not have any sticker in the front indicating of the $5 grocery. I decided not to buy it and the next day, I went to WALMART and decided to buy the CG 2 and another CG series because the other movie was much cheaper from $7.50 to $12. Again there was a peelie that said like at Target in front of the CG Series movies. I priced match it for $6.99 and bought the other video for $7.50. Plus I use the $3.00 off peelie for CG 2. Then before I left the store, I decided that since my kids were watching one CG movie, they don’t need to have another one. The
CG 2 did not a sticker in front of it but since I really got it for $3.99 ($6.99 – $3.00 peelie), it was a great deal and so I kept it and returned the $7.50. I did not open CG 2 until today and when I opened CG 2, I found “Save $5 on Groceries” in the box. OMG, so this was the famous save $5 on groceries. So if I did the math, I got CG 2 for ABSOLUTLY FREE and made a profit of $2. I was so thrilled and my husband said that ” I am NUT!” and yeah, a crazy nut who got CG 2 for nothing and made a profit of $2.00!! Wouldn’t you? BTW the Save $5 on Groceries” offer expires 4/16/10. So if I was you go to Target, Kmart, or Walmart and buy the movie, you may never know what you will find inside. Good Luck!!!
I purchased this at target and when I opened it, there were no inserts of any kind. A little disappointed but still a good buy and my grandson will love it. So all is good. Thanks for an awesome site, I visit several times a day.
I went to my Target last week and found several DVDs w/ the sticker on the outside pkg. I wish I would have bought a few more for gifts! What a great deal! I searched by the movies but it was out of stock – then in line at the registers I saw ONE left with the grocery peelie sticker!! Sent away for my gift card that same night – and my daughter LOVES the film. What a deal – thank you so much!
