Is the Snuggle dryer sheets deal this week only?

  2. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I tried using the $5/2 coupon for the clariol hairdye at family dollar, and the register beeped (it wouldnt accept it) and of course the cashier was rude and unwilling to let me use the coupon. Did anyone else have this problem?

    • Samantha

Did the family code match on the products and coupon? I remember seeing (somewhere) about family dollar having old products before family code switches (for P&G it’s mostly 37000).

    • Gabi

My store employees told me that they don’t allow stacking of coupons. It’s company policy. I asked about what they do accept, which are all internet & man Q including b1g1; plus only one of a kind per day. They were very friendly.

    • Jennifer Santos

Yes, I had the exact same problem. In fact, every single one of my coupons beeped and she would not accept them. Even the ones for Reach toothbrushes and flosses beeped. She then told me that their prices were so cheap that I shouldn’t even have to use coupons. I sent an email to their corporate office. This was a couple of weeks ago, no response. So, good luck using your coupons at Family Dollar.

  3. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I did the snuggle deals yestersay since KMART would not let me do this deal! I AM SO SICK OF KMART!

  4. Theresa

We got save $5/$25 in our flyer this week, so even better deals.

    • Julie

With the $5 off $25 coupon, can I use that before my other coupons? I’ve never shopped FD before.

      • Sadie

My store insisted the $25 had to be after all other coupons. I am so glad that I got so many things free even with out using the store coupon.

  5. Pam

I did Kmart Snuggle yesterday. I had 4 coupons. They were ringing the coupons through with no beeps at $3.00. I added a 5th Snuggle into the transaction to use the overage. Paid .50 on the last Snuggle. Usually my Kmart is the pickiest!

    • Adina

My Kmart didn’t have the right size bottles – the 2/$5 were too small to use the coupons!! I was so disappointed!

  6. Adina

I was at Dollar General yesterday and politely asked the manager if I was able to stack a manufacturer’s coupon with their in-store Dollar General coupons. Her response was, “Nope – it’s one or the other.” I just double checked Collin’s post with their coupon policy and lo and behold the manager was wrong! I emailed Dollar General for their coupon policy and I’m going to march right back to the store when I get it and stack coupons! Normally I wouldn’t be like that, but she was rude about it so I’m going to go back and “kindly” inform her of her mistake.

  7. Kim Brooks

Natalie, they entered my coupons manually. The manager Oked it. I had 6 coupons and the clerk said I could not use them but the manager let me.

We have one Family Dollar in our area. The others shut down and it’s close to my work so I go a lot. The manager hates to see me coming with my coupon binder :]

  8. Jen

I printed the reslove coupon and it states $1.50 off any carpet cleaner product. I chose it under fabric care. Is there possibly another coupon that would work for laundry stain removal?

    • Adina

Same here – I didn’t even notice it until I read your post. I need some carpet cleaner anyway – hope it’s on sale too!!

    • Shelly G.

I just printed the only two resolve coupons I saw on the page… one was for like you said Carpet cleaning and the other one was for RESOLVE Bright & White… I do not think either one of these will work 🙁 darn I am almost out of it too lol..

  9. Elizabeth

I did the Snuggle at Family Dollar and got 2 70 ct. sheets boxes for free. Also, the Mighty Dog canned dog food at ours was 5 for $3, so using the $3/5 coupon from Sunday’s paper (and the free can coupon) I got 12 cans for free with 4 coupons.
2 Snuggles and 12 cans of dog food all FREE!

    • Heather W

Oh good catch on the Mighty Dog! I will be picking some of that up too! I got the Snuggle at Family Dollar the last time the coupon was around and had no problems. The cashier even asked where I got the coupon from, so hopefully this time will go as well! 🙂

  10. Anna

I got my Snuggle at Food Lion with no issues. And remember today is the last day of the Quilted Northern sale at Food Lion. You can basically make each pack 49 cents after the rebate. They’re 6 double rolls, 3 ply. So it’s really good quality. Buy 5 at 3.99 and get 50% off. But, you’ll need to make sure you buy over $20 dollars worth of stuff on your receipt since the coupon has fine print about discounts and such. I had to buy a pack of Vanity Fair napkins to make the items worth $20.00 for the rebate. You can do it this way because the 50% discount is a separate line item instead of reducing the price under the actual item.

  11. Ann Dee

A lot of the Utah Family Dollars are only letting people use one coupon per customer per visit. That is not what their coupon policy states. It says you can use multiple coupons per visit. Maybe they are worried about running out with one person? Still, though, I’ll take my business to Wal-Mart where they have Snuggle sheets for $3.50 and they are coupon friendly.

It’s sad because I would love to support smaller stores. I really used to be so against Wal-Mart coming in and shutting down all the small businesses in the area. But I have shopped there and at Target a majority of the time thanks to their deals and coupons.

    • jen

my cashier just did two different transactions for the snuggle

  12. Nancy

Yesterday, I tried to use the $3 Snuggle coupon on the $3 dryer sheets and the cashier would not allow it because “it made the item free.” I also tried to use the coupon for $3 off 5 cans of Mighty Dog which were 5 for $3, and she would not allow that either. She was rude and would not even bother to call the manager.

  13. Marci

There is a .50 off coupon off of the Snuggle dryer sheets (in the Family Dollar online add that is printable). How does Family Dollar deal with overages?

    • sandy [getcha coup on]

you get the overage but they won’t pay you. so yesterday i bought two snuggles and one bounce dryer sheets. i paid $1.13 oop. 🙂

      • Adina

You’re lucky – I was just there – wouldn’t give me the overage – and it says that in the coupon policy that I had in my bag (thankfully). It took me almost half an hour to check out to buy 3 Reeses cups, 1 bottle of Snuggle, 1 box of Snuggle dryer sheets and 3 bottles of Joy dish liquid. The cashiers couldn’t get ANY of the coupons to work. They actually deleted the entire transaction and ran each one thru individually (including the candy…) I was nice, and they were nice – but still. It was a looooonnnnggg drawn out process for them to check me out. Then when all was said and done I couldn’t even stack the Snuggle coupon on top of the mfg coupon because they couldn’t figure out how to do it. I was so frustrated at that point (but nice) that I just told them to forget it….All in all it was a good trip but so frustrating when the cashiers aren’t trained on the coupon process. They joked with me that I wasn’t allowed back in the store for at least a month until they recover!

  14. Valerie

    This snuggle deal must be a regional thing, as my flyer doesn’t illustrate it (;

  15. Melissa L

My flyer didn’t have the Snuggle either. But it did have $3.00 off Biz. Does Family Dollar carry Biz?

  16. Jodi

Snuggle Expressions? Should that be Snuggle Exhilarations? I haven’t seen Expressions. I’m addicted to the Lavender & Sandalwood 🙂

I’ve never shopped at Family Dollar. Can I just pick up the store coupons at the store?

    • Jodi

Okay…I figured out you can print the coupon from their online ad. Are these coupons unique? Or can I print as many as needed from the same one?

  17. mommy247

Family Dollar policy states that you cant get anytihing free with coupons, has any one had problems at Famliy Dollar?

    • Adina

Read my post from above….Wow it was a hard day there in the checkout line….

    • ~Kendra~

I’m pretty sure it said you can’t use coupons for free items, meaning, for example, I just got that Facebook coupon for Vitamin Water, it says for one free Vitamin water. Not that you can’t use coupons to end up getting it free. Not to mention, it’s not free, you pay tax.

    • Lisa

I tried to get the snuggle dryer sheets for free with the coupon. I didn’t have anything else I was purchasing. Because of this, the total went down to $0.00, so the register did not compute the sales tax. It says on the coupon “customer must pay sales tax,” and the cashier and manager were insisting that I need to pay the sales tax. Of course I told them that I would be more than happy to pay the sales tax, but since it didn’t show up on the register, they weren’t able to resolve it. So basically it seemed like the computer’s fault, but still, that shoudl fall on the store and not the customer. So I didn’t get anything. Anyway I’m going to try again at a different family dollar. Worse comes to worse I’ll just buy another item like wheat thins which are $2 there, $1 with my $1 off coupon. But still I wanted to get something free and not have to buy another item.

    • cuc

Yes this happened today, the older male cashier read from a printout that said you can’t use a coupon to get anything for free. How stupid. My first and last time there. What a waste of my time.

  18. Pamela

My Sunday paper coupons didn’t include the snuggle coupon you all are talking about….bummer! Lucky for you! Oh Well…….

  19. Alyssa

My family dollar has a bunch of jerks working there! They always tell me they don’t except coupons!

    • Kathy

      I do know the feeling!!!

  20. Karla

Went to Family Dollar and tried to stack the manufacture coupon with the store coupon and was told I couldn’t do that. They said the “store” coupons were manufacture coupons and they got reimbursed by the manufacture which doesn’t make sense because the store coupon doesn’t even state it’s a manufacture coupon. They then scrutinized the coupon thoroughly before letting me get the Snuggle. The sad thing is my daughter dropped a bottle when we got home and most of the bottle spilled out. At least it was only $.75. 🙂

  21. ~Kendra~

**The coupon you can print from the ad for Snuggle says it CANNOT be combined with any other coupon. Also, in the coupon policy says:

Multiple coupons may be used within one transaction. There is a limit of two coupons
per item. You may use one Family Dollar coupon along with one Manufacturer’s
coupon for the same item, —-AS LONG AS neither coupon states that it is not valid with
    other coupons.—

I’m just going for the dryer sheets

  22. Widalys Lugo

Just went to Dollar General and got a bottle of Snugle 60 load for free using the $3.00 coupon. I also got a pack of Stayfree for .75 it’s on sale for $2.75 I used the $2.00 coupon;)

  23. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    Thanks Kim! I’ll try again!

  24. Joan

Couldn’t use Gillette deodorant coupons- had 4 deodorants and was trying to use a coupon for $4/2 , or the Clairol hair color coupons- had 4 hair colors at $2.50 each and coupons for $5/2- at our Family Dollar. The cashier was very patient and tried the coupons several times, but couldn’t even enter them manually. The cash register would not take them, and she even got the manager who also did his best to try to help put them through. I was disappointed, as I had a $5 off coupon if I spent $25 or more. I was able to buy 3 Snuggle fabric softeners for $3, which were free after the $3 coupons. And I did buy the Resolve, using a manufacturer’s coupon. So it wasn’t a wasted trip, as I got 3 free fabric softeners.

  25. jen

I went to fd last night and got the snuggle fabric sheets the liquid wasnt the right size so heading to walmart today. But while I was there they also had always panty liners clearanced to 1.89 for the 50 ct. I used the 1.00 coupon we had from newspaper .89. They also had always clean pads for 2.55 clearanced so 1.55. I was excited.

  26. Kathy

Family Dollars in Garland, Texas have lost all my business! They will not accept more than two coupons for products of the same kind and if the coupon makes it free, you can’t have it! What a waste of time to even go in there! Never again, I’ve had it with Family Dollar stores. I tried the Clariol hair color coupon a few weeks ago and it said….ANY Clariol haircolor, but the manager said thta it wasn’t theirs! What a crock! Then with the Snuggle, they say no because it would be free! Don’t they get back every penny plus some?
