I keep seeing offers for coupons through text message. My question is do they charge you anything additional for this? I have unlimited text so will it cost me anything extra to receive a text from them?

I called my local Fudd’s and she said they were not honoring these until they heard back from corporate. She said they had been getting alot of calls about it.
Yay! we’re on a SUPER strict budget this month, but this will let us go out and spend less than $10 for a nice family lunch.

Hey, I just thought this was interesting…I called my Fuddruckers in Spfd, Mo and the girl there said that they have had a few people ask about this offer and their corporate offices are saying it’s a scam. They are being told that corp. likes the idea, but that they did not generate this offer and do not know it’s source…
I’d be curious to know if anyone has been able to use it successfully!
I used it sucsessfuly, but the owner hadn’t seen it before and didn’t know anything about it. He’s a great guy though and honored it…hope it wasn’t a scam because then I’d feel bad!
Just stopped in my Fuddruckers in Springfield. I was told the coupon was not autherised by Fuddruckers 🙁 The manager said they were looking into it. We still had a great burger there
I called several Fuddruckers in AZ and they all said it was a scam and not approved by corporate. Bummer! I crave that place!

So, I called corporate and this came from a “Franchisee” so meaning a specific store – they are investigating and my stores in Orlando are not accepting it. BOO!!!
O how embarrassing I reposted this for my friends on my facebook, I feel really bad.
I called my Fudruckers this morning and they said they would accept it but when I sent the text this afternoon I got a message that said “this fudruckers mobile account has been temporarily discontinued. Please contact 5122750400 for more information” This was the number for corporate. They were already closed guess it is a scam.

Man I was excited! I was just trying to figure out what to do for dinner tonight for my hubby and I and I’ve been craving a good burger for weeks. I also got the same message that Laura got when I sent the message. Oh well…I was really excited to try out Fudruckers.
I was going to take my son there tomorrow for lunch…guess we’ll do a picnic lunch instead! lol! Thanks anyway, Collin, at least now I know that we have one only 17 minutes away from our house! 🙂 Will totally still try them out sometime this summer, their burgers look very yummy.

Went to FUDDS today and they did not accept the coupon. BUT the manager on duty did give us $5 off our purchase. They said they have heard about the texts and that they are spam. But never mentioned if they had spoke to corporate about it.
My son received a response from his text and it stated at a location in NY.
My response said at all participaing locations.
My text said NY locations only.
Utah Locations said it was a scam as well… Too bad…
I got charged $10 on my phone for this number!
