Collin, I have missed you SO MUCH! Or the blog anyway, which means, YOU! ๐Ÿ˜‰ Anyway, just been busy…I will have to try to remember to go in and sign up for this program; sounds great. I work out usually every day, so this looks like it will be an incentive to continue doing that, thanks! Now, on to my scrolling…. ~ ๐Ÿ˜Ž

  2. Annmarie

    Thanks Collin. I signed up.

  3. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I’m curious if the points accumulated are counted before or after coupons and SCRs.

    • Melody

The points are accumulated before any discounts (ie coupons or rebates). I have been using my card and coupons for a few weeks and have several points already. This is such an awesome program and adds another fab dimension to RA shopping!

  4. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

They already started accepting my card here in Boston. I LOVE this program, there are RA coupons at the bottom of my receipt, makes for more cheap/free stuff! Rite Aid is my favorite drugstore to shop at.

    • Nikki

You can get those coupons on 4 transactions, then after the 4 have printed, you won’t get any more until they release more coupons.

  5. Tashena Gonzales

Sounds like they are taking pointers from CVS.

  6. Mary

I am going to try and use this this week at my local rite aid. If you go online there is a $3/$15 PDF coupon, it says it must be presented with Wellness card. I wonder if their system will be as smart as CVS if you print it more than once….

    • Anonymous

Where is the $3/$15? I see a $5/$25. Also, my email didn’t include the $25 in coupons. Are they on Rite Aid’s website somewhere?

      • Mary

In this post, where collin has the click here to see the current wellness offers, mine came up with 4 coupons. $3/$15, $2 off cosmetics, $2.00 off vitamin, $2.00 off cold medicine.

        • Anonymous

          Thank you!

          • Mary

            No problem!

I have one! I got mine back when the Johnson’s baby products were buy one get one for a penny. It’s a great program. We transferred our prescriptions there too. The only thing I don’t like about my RA, which is very close to the house, been in there several times for the great sales with the coupons posted here that store doesn’t seem to have a lot of the sale items in stock. It happened too me more than once.

  8. Kelly

I live in the Buffalo, NY area and we’ve had this program for a couple of months now. It’s great! There are coupons that print at the bottom of your receipt (usually 2). The cashiers always remember to ask for the card! Enjoy! (PS Thanks Collin for all you do!)

  9. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

fyi: the $50 worth of coupons are all RA brand, so if you do not use off brand, do not waste your ink ๐Ÿ˜‰

    • Heather

Thanks for posting it for others. I, unfortunately, made the mistake of printing when I signed up. Total waste.

      • fairydust

        yeah, me too… ๐Ÿ™‚

I have been using my wellness card for months and LOVE IT!!! I have had NO trouble combining wellness coupons (which can be really high value) with Video Values coupons, in-ad coupons, and manufacturer coupons!! Example of some amazing deals you can get: Head & Shoulders shampoo/comditioner is on sale for $3.99 right now. Not the greatest deal, right? Use a B1G1 free manufacturer coupon, a $1/1 manufacturer coupon, 2 $1/1 wellness pdf coupons, and you get 2 for $1 total! That’s not including the discount you get if you couple them with other sales to use the $5/$20 coupon!

    • San

My Rite-Aid doesn’t let me use more than 2 coupons for a single item ๐Ÿ™

    • fairydust

I haven’t had any issues with combining coupons either. One gal did try to tell me there was some new RA coupon policy rule update that limits the number of coupons to 10-15 depending on how high value they are (I just nodded along with her and did separate transactions), but the next three clerks took all my coupons without batting an eye, and they all scan fine – video, wellness, Rite Aid, mfr, etc. Just remember once you get your Wellness card to have them scan that so you’ll get more Wellness coupons at the bottom of your register tape.

  11. sharon

I have been waiting for them to roll it out to the rest of us! Thanks!

  12. Aleshia

I have been part of the wellness program for a couple of months now and I live in Oak Harbor, WA.
I think it is in more location than you think. I get monthly coupons which are awesome by the way!

    • Ashley Marie

They take it here?! I guess I will be signing up!

  13. Sheyanne

The wellness card I printed out and the coupons state they are only good at certain stores. Is that going to change once the program is official? I hope so cause the cosmetic coupon for $2 off is a good deal.

  14. Olivia Smith

Awesome, I will definitely sign up for this. I NEVER used to shop at pharmacies until I started reading this blog and found some awesome deals! ๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks!!

  15. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

If you sign up in store will you still get the email with the 5 off 25 coupon?

  16. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I have been doing the Wellness Program for months. I use the $5 off coupons about every two weeks and score tons of free stuff. Their online rebates are easy to use as well. I team up with my mom, who lived 5 minutes away, and we trade coupons, make our lists, and find bargains. Also, always lookd for ‘Try Me Free’ coupons in their health and beauty sections. I haven’t paid more than $.75 cents for a razor, shampoo, body wash, lotion, or any other girlie product in a year and a half. AND I”ve befriended the cashiers. They help me score the best deals and never ever hassle me with coupon road blocks. I have already scored a free screening and after all my couponing, I’d say I spent less than $100 out of pocket in the last year. I love that place!

  17. Katie

Sounds great to me. Only thing is that when I start getting the 10% off I’ll have to do more math to get my total up to ex. $20 so I can use the $5/$20 coupon!!! I’m not complaining, though!! ๐Ÿ™‚

  18. Amber

Do the $5 / $25 coupons that you receive when you sign up all have the same barcode? I printed a few of them, but don’t want to get busted for it if the codes are unique to each person. Mine ends in 53110…

    • Danielle W

      mine does too ๐Ÿ™‚

      • Amber

        Yay! Thanks ๐Ÿ™‚

  19. Robyn

WAIT TO SIGN UP TILL AFTER SUNDAY!!!!! If you sign up now, the $5off $25 coupon is only good in NY, NC, PA & CA (the 4 cities Collin mentioned). Mine is no good cause I don’t live in those state. Just a warning.

  20. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

When you get to the point that you get 20%off isn’t that only good for full price items?

    • wendy

The 20% off is good for full price items. If the item is on sale, you get the lower of the 2 prices. It is really great getting 20% off and doesn’t take long to get there. You get to create your own sales/deals!

  21. Aleshia

Just wanted to tell everyone this great deal I scored today and possibly you can too!
At my local Albertson’s the select Kelloggs cereal is on sale for 2.49, plus if you buy 3 you get 1 free gallon of milk. Also, Albertson’s has the twice the coupon at the register (the twice your coupon is doubling your coupons up to a dollar and up to three coupons.)
    My deal scenario…
Buy 3 kelloggs cereal (I bought frosted mini-wheats little bits) 2.49 each
    Total = 7.47
Use 3 1$/1 manufactures coupon for any Kelloggs special K Low fat granola, Raisin Bran
Extra, or Frosted mini wheats little bits from the 3/28 Red Plum
(My local Albertson’s doesn’t carry the Kelloggs Low Fat Granola or else I would have purchased that instead, make sure that the kelloggs cereal you purchase is one that is on sale for 2.49)
Then get all three coupons doubled (should be at register call and ask first) Thats 6$ of total!
Total 1.47 (only .49 each) Then a coupon for free milk will print out!!
Thats three boxes of cereal plus one gallon of milk for 1.47!
    I saved a total of 17.09!!

  22. karen

i’ve been doing the wellness thing for at least a month even tho i’m not in any of the pilot cities. my only problem has been that none of my wellness coupons that they send me online in my wellness acct after i print them will ever scan at the register. the cashiers are extremely reluctant to manually key the amounts in and some will not. anybody else having a problem w their coups not scanning?

  23. SenoraE

Buffalo native here, so we have had it for awhile. I already have $600+, so I am at the ALWAYS 10% off just when they scan my card. My records show that I have only actually paid $36 so far. Ah-mazing. Can’t wait to get to the $1,000 one!!! You only get the rewards for the remainder of the calendar year, then you have to start accumulating all over again. If something is on sale, then you only get whichever discount is better (ex. on B1G1, there’s no 10% off). You do get it off items that have rebates and clearance, though!!! ๐Ÿ™‚ Plus you can use $5/$25 with the automatic discount. Super awesome!!! They also show you online how many dollars you have spent! ๐Ÿ™‚ Weeee hooo!!!

  24. Lacy

I just got my wellness card in the mail today. They automatically signed me up for the program and put me at the 10% off everyday level for being a valued customer. Hope others get the same!

  25. Elise

I just printed some of the coupons to use with the Wellness Card. Here’s my question. Some of them are PDF coupons – can we print more than one? Or, are there unique bar codes that only allow them to be used once, or will using them more than once cause other problems? Opinions?

  26. Beth

When you sign up, what is the expiration for the $5 off @ $25 coupon?

    • kim

      i think mine was 7/31/10

  27. Doris

Anybody knows if we can use more than one wellness+ coupon (let’s say 2 makeup 2/1) in one transaction? Example:
Buy two items and and use 2 w+Q
    ???

  28. Rose Victor

Be AWARE….the zyrtex itchy eye drops have been RECALLED…went in to buy them yesterday and they were all removed from the shelves….check before using.
