Instead of filming a “Follow Me Monday” video for this week, I have opted to highlight a video I received from a few awesome Hip2Save readers! This video shows you exactly what it’s like to be a “Coupon Girl”! I’m sure you all can relate to parts of this video …and I hope it brings you a smile and possibly a chuckle or two! I sure enjoyed it!

That was the best!!! <3 it!

  6. Michelle M

I’m thinking this looks like an LDS group of gals… judging by the dress, homes, and Utah-looking landscapes. I love it! I’m LDS, too.

    • Ann Dee

Ya, looks like Utah FOR SURE. I’m in Sandy, Utah and LDS, too. (o:

      • Ann Dee

Collin, is this from a Utah gal?

        • Jenny

I know the gentleman in it who says “It’s a dollar” He does live in Utah. Then one part looks like it is in Lehi up by Cabelas. Too funny!

          • Annie

What is/are LDS? Sorry I’m from the midwest!

          • Erin

HAHA!! I’m glad someone else said something, UTAH was my first thought! I’m a Utah girl couponing in FL, this video makes me homesick! But, I’ll count stocked shelves at all my stores as a blessing, and when I go visit in the summer I’m going to have CVS withdrawals! Very cute video, loved it!!

          • Michelle M

LDS means Latter-Day Saint, or in another word- Mormon. It’s our religion- we’re members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We could tell from the video that these couponers were also Mormons. We’re referencing Utah because a large quantity of Mormons are concentrated in Utah.

    • Amy

Very much looks like Utah!! I have found a lot of us couponers are LDS. Similar philosophies I think 🙂 Very cool!!

      • Cindy H.

I’m an LDS couponer too, transplanted here in PA from Utah. I’m also loving the stocked shelves outside of Utah. However I’m totally missing Cafe Rio and other killer restaurants.

    • Samantha

That looks like the Walgreens in Saratoga Springs maybe? Sooo funny. My first thought was LDS girls too. I live in Lehi and am LDS too

      • Noelle

I was thinking Utah women as well! Us Utahns know what’s up!

        • Marisha Gordon

I live in Raleigh, but I went to BYU and can spot a Utah Mormon in heartbeat! Love it!

    • jessica

I didn’t want to say anything…. I think we LDS people have a frugal gene, makes couponing a natural thing to do. Have to say, I am glad I live in TN, not much competition and shelves are usually stocked.

      • jessica

I should add I can tell they are LDS because of the way they are dressed, some of the decor in their homes (scriptures or other religious sayings).

        • Annie

Michelle M thanks for the definition….I’ll now watch the video again to see what you are all talking about. I have to say, I didn’t notice anything different in dress or decor the first time around though!

  7. Alice

    That was awesome, love it!

  8. QponSavingMommas

    Great Clips , loved em

  9. Rachel

Oh my goodness that was awesome. It really made my day I was smiling and laughing throughout it. Thank you to whoever made it. I think we can all relate in one way or another. I am a recent convert to couponing… We had almost bare shelves and an empty fridge and I was trying to figure out what to do about it… Food stamps, etc. I decided I would try couponing instead so we were still self reliant. It worked, I have been not only saving money but now when I look around it’s not “o man we don’t have any food”, it’s “which one should we open next”! And I even have enough that I have been able to share with friends and family who are having a hard time financially.

Thank you to all my fellow couponers for having one anothers back it’s like a club, and I am proud to be a member. Sorry to ramble. The video was GREAT!

    • Suzanne

GOOD FOR YOU!!! Too many people think “handout” when hard times hit not that you can’t go there if you NEED it but it should be a last resort and you have shown that.

    • Vanessa

Good for you! Don’t let anyone dampen your enthusiasm!

  10. Leigh Anne

That was hilarious! I absolutely LOVE the scrapbook part!

    • Tiffany

  11. Dwagnfly

I love the odd look the woman gave when she saw the feminine products in her Easter basket. She looked freaked out. Wouldn’t we all love to have a scrapbook like that? It’s hard to throw away my receipts sometimes. I want everyone to see when I save over 90%, I love the ways their eyes bug out of their head when they see the actual receipt.

  12. Heidi W.

That was just what I needed to brighten my day!

  13. Catherine

So awesome! Ironically, yesterday my husband and two of our boys had a longer than expected day of shopping so we stopped for a bite to eat at Cheesecake Factory and we had waters for drinks. Of course I also asked for some lemon!

Great video to whomever made it. See Collin, you totally inspire us all!

  39. Holly

LOL I just got “it’s a dollar” remark from my DH and then he looked closer and saw that I have several of those. In fact he just deposited almost $50 in rebates. They are annoying and sometimes I hate to wait on the checks but then when I think about how that is money BACK in my budget I remember why I do them.

  40. Pamela

I love all those videos and thanks for share with us – it def does cheer my day up!

  41. MELANIE

    • Melinda Fowler

No, I made it just for the video. Although, I do set out my super-awesome deals on the kitchen counter so I can look at them and show my friends and family!
