Is Family Dollar coupon friendly? I rarely shop there and I have never tried to use coupon there before.
Our FD stores here in Texas around us will not let you have it if it is free. I refuse to go back to FD even if the coupon makes it free or cheap. They embarrassed me on the last trip and I will not go through that again. I have about 4-5 near me, but after going to 3 of them to try the coupon deals, I will not go back. I say they are not friendly with the couponers……just jealous!
My Family Dollar is really coupon friendly! But i have heard of others who are not… You could always grab a flyer and price match somewhere else…
My FD is SUPER coupon-friendly. I’ve only been there a hand full of times but every time one (or all!) of my coupons beep and they go out of their way to push them through anyway, no questions asked.
Went to Family Dollar Store this morning in CT. I was so excited as I had printed some Suave Coupons. Unfortunately, this store does not take internet coupons, only manufacture coupons or Family Dollar coupons. So I had to leave all the merchandise. Too bad, as I was going to donate all of it!
Anyone know how to price match this at Wal-Mart if it’s not in an ad? My Family Dollar is not coupon friendly, but surprisingly my local WalMart in Sandy, UT is.
I don’t know if you can price match without the ad. My Walmart says no to that, but you can always ask.
I was able to purchase the heinz 57 with the coupon…went right thru no problem

I just look at the Family Dollar ad online and it has some good deasl in it and some Family Dollar coupons. Can you stack a family dollar coupon with another coupon? I might try my luck there.
at my publix you can stack the family dollar coupon with manufacturer coupons.
When I printed the Suave coupon I got Dove coupons. Can I use these Dove coupons for Suave?

In a previous post, Collin said that Dollar General doesn’t take internet coupons. Has anyone tried using them? I want to get the Glass Plus but don’t want to waste my time if they don’t take them. Thanks!
They now take internet printed coupons. I received an email from them saying they would take them. I just did the deal yesterday with no problems at all. 🙂
I just got back from FD and they did take my sauve coupon but the coupon did not scan she had to type it in.But hey I still got it.BTW they have some diferent kinds of toothpaste 2 for 1.00 check out the ad.I think it is a pretty good deal even with out a coupon.
Family dollar does NOT accept printables. It IS in their coupon policy..

Isn’t the Heinz 57 coupon for the larger bottle not the smaller one that Family Dollar has? At least that is what I show.
Just came back from FD. Grabbed 4 Suave deo. with 2 Q’s. Got up to the register, and she tried the Q, but said they didn’t take internet Q’s. She was kind enough to force it through though. I don’t know how a store can survive in this day and age and NOT take internet Q’s.
My FD didn’t have any Heinz 57 and the individual containers of the Suave deodorant didn’t show that they were on sale (although the regular price is only $1.75) but I did find a two-pack of the Suave deodorant for $3 and they didn’t question the coupon at all!
Supposedly Dollar General just started accepting IP coupons but they’ve not done a good job letting their employees know.
Was there a couple weeks ago for the Dove, they told me they don’t accept IP’s I challenged the cashier and had him call corporate…they told him yes, now they accept IP coupons!
They wouldn’t except mine said the register wouldn’t take it as the coupon was over $1.50 what a joke.
I went to FD this morning and the mgr gave me an awful time. The deodorant was marked for $1.48 ea and when I asked if he’d just adjust the coupon he said he couldn’t. He even threw my coupon on the floor behind the counter. I actually had to ask for it back. Needless to say I left empty handed and highly discouraged. Now I’m scared to try another FD, don’t want to be embarrassed or angry.
My FD was nice, but said that if a coupon brings the total to $0, the system wouldn’t take it and the manager said they just can’t do it. Walmart has those Suave deods for $1.67 or something, so I will pay 30 cents for two….
using IP at FD is against their policy and you shouldnt be doing so bc it IS listed in their policy…I hope collin sees this and stops posting deals with IPs at FD

The cashier at my Family Dollar called a manager (actually on the phone) and said they did not take IPs. I didn’t fight it and called another store myself and got the same answer.
I came home and found what I am sure is the same information that others have posted. If you go to http://www.familydollar.com and click on coupons, there coupon policy is there in black and white. They even have a second page with an example of a store coupon and MQ showing where the remit address and all other necessary parts of the coupon are located.
Basically they will accept IPs if they are not photocopied, have a printed exp. date, scannable barcorde or valido promo code and are for items sold at their stores. Will not accept “free” item coupons ( this, to me does not mean something we are getting for free after coupon but the “try ____ free” coupons and the like) but will accept BOGO coupons.
You can use a store coupon and MQ on the same item.
Going to take my coupon policy back and hope to get some free deodorant! I don’t need it myself, but I love to share with friends and family or donate to local shelters. =)

I actually may try price matching at Target instead since I got a FD ad in the mail today It will save me another trip to FD and hopefully go more smoothly and the FD cashier won’t think she will lose her job if she scans an Internet coupon. =)
I just got back from Family Dollar and at first the cashier look confused by the coupon, but then she took it. I got 2 deodrants for .22!
I just tried doing the deodorant deal and cashier gave me 3 different reasons y she wouldnt take the cpns. 1st she said bc i had 2 get suave deo with a total more than $3. That didnt make sense bc i was buying 4 bringing total to $6. Then she said i had 2 get the twin pk so i added a twin pk 2 see if the system would take it.It didnt. Then she said we dont accept internet cpns. Called corp n related same exact story, the rep never said anything about not accepting internet cpns. Had mgr call cashier. She said mgr told her to let it go thru manually but only with twin pks.Wanting me 2 buy 2 twin pks and inputting only one $3/2 cpn n saying it was a one time exception 4 me. I said no, not right. Cpn does not say only 4 twin pks! Called corp again. Basically said if system wont take it theres nothing we can do about it. Which is a lie since the cashier said she was going to enter it manually. Not to mention that every system in the world can be manually overridden bc of human error. So frustrating. =(
