Just wanted to let you in on the Infusium 23 leave-in treatment deal. I have done this a total of three times and have three free bottles of Infusium-23. You want to look for the spray-in treatment, it is only $4.99. I used the $3 off coupon from the May All you and 2 I have from Sunday’s insert. I combined with the May Walgreens coupon, and you get them for free! If you have a problem with this at your Walgreens not being the correct Infusium product, point out to them it is one of the products displayed in the picture on the $2 off coupon in their booklet!

  2. beth

Has anyone encountered your wags limited the amount of a product you can buy? I stopped to day and they have the picture of the ad for schick razor and wrote limit one per customer per day. Wondering if this is normal policy at Wags.

    • LeeAnn

I ran into this today at my Walgreen’s with the Gillette Body Wash.

    • Twyla

Our walgreen’s stated doing this several months ago bc there were a couple of couponers who would take everything off the shelves and not leave any for other customers. So to be fair to ALL customers, they started putting limits. I appreciate that the couponers are “donating to charity” but some of us NEED the free products, too and are willing to go through the effort to get it. I’m glad they did it!

  3. Donna

There are printable $1.00 off Lysol products at bricks.coupon.com, making the toilet bowl cleaner only 2 for $0.99.

    • Laurie

Donna–what zip code were you using for the Lysol coupons? I can’t find them.

  4. vikky

Werther鈥檚 Original 2.75-5.5 oz., candy deal is not right.
$1off 2 is for Original chocolates, and none of the stores i’ve tried to use this coupon would accept it for original hard candies… since coupon does say it’s for chocolates. Plus coupon in May book also is for chocolates, not hard candy.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

you might re-read the post…she did say it was for the chocolates. just fyi….:)

    • michelle

Couldn’t you use the may coupon booklet coupon for the werther’s originals. They are on sale this week for bygo and there is a $1 off coupon in the may cpn book. It dosen’t look like the same bag, but it dosen’t say chocolates either. Are you talking about the $1 cpn from the paper last week? I used those at my local grocery who was doing dbl cpns last week. Then they didn’t double for some reason. I was tired of the whole cpn process by then so I didn’t go back and complain. The cpn in the may book looks like it is for the stand up bag so I don’t know. I did have it in my cpns for this week at Wags so I’ll see.

  5. Dawn

Hey, just want to let you know that I went to Walgreens just now and tried to do the deal scenerio with the body washes and our walgreens has a BIG sign on the table where you check out saying that you are now only allowed 1 register reward item per day. So, I couldn’t even get two and use my coupon at all. Is that cooperate that’s doing that?? Is that allowed???

    • A.Marie

One register reward item per day? I hope that itsn’t what Walgreens is going to implement now….I have to drive either 20 min. to Small Town Walgreens or go 45 minutes to the larger town that has a better selection. This will be a big bummer if this is what they start doing!!!

    • what's the deal

The stores can absolutely limit the RR items. To me, it is a direct result of the shelf clearers. My closest store never used to limit, but I always only did 1 item per day. Recently 2 or 3 ladies came in on Sunday morning as soon as the store opened and completely cleared everything out. There was nothing left and the other customers were not happy. Since then, we have signs up that say 1 per day limit and I LOVE it. I have 3 stores that I can go to after work, before work or on lunch hour so if I want more than 1 at a store I just go throughout the week. I did 10 of the razors last week, but spread it out over 7 days. My last store let me do 2 because it was late Saturday afternoon and they had plenty still.

      • Angie

I agree, it’s not fair for people to completely clear the shelves and I am glad the stores are doing something about it!

        • Lisa S.

I with you gals! We have a few “ladies” that clean the shelves to have rummage sales later to make a profit. So dirty in my opinion! The rest of us are just trying to save a dollar.

  6. Dawn

Hey, I just called cooperate. and they said it is not something that they do, but they did tell me that the managers at Walgreens can choose to do that if they want to. So, it’s just whatever your Walgreens manager decides. Kind of a bummer that mine decided to do that. So, you may be okay with your Walgreens.

    • Lea Ann

My Walgreens for the past month is limiting 1 RR per item per day. Nothing in writing has been posted. But, if there are 5 things in the ad w/ RR’s, you are entitled to one of each.
They are trying to limit people from clearing shelves, but my store is never stocked that well with the RR items. They even used the word “stockpile”! I think they are all going to go to the Reward system like CVS eventually with the limits.

      • Angie

It does suck that some of the Walgreens are being so strict about limits, but think of all the times someone has posted on here or complained on here that someone cleared the shelves or bought 15 of the same thing! People who do that are not considerate of others have caused this policy and is trying to be fair for everyone. I also noticed in the Walgreens ad this week that their were a lot less deals with RR and more with their coupons. Things seems to be changing at Walgreens.

  7. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I was just at walgreens on Thursday and I was told that I could not stack a manufacture coupon with a coupon out of the walgreens booklet. The reasoning is the coupons out of the may booklet are manufacture coupons. Has anyone had any problems like this in the past? I was really kinda irritated since I wanted to do the infusium deal.

    • vikky

I had same problem in one of the W around me, but other stores let me use both coupons, so i just will go to the ones that let us save more 馃檪

    • STEPHANIE

I had this happen to me this morning trying to do the stride gum deal. it was a no go. the cashier tried telling me that this is a new thing since about 2 months ago. but i find that funny that on friday at the same store i did the revlon lip gloss b1g1 50 % deal using the coupon from the wags coupon book and 2 man coupons and it all worked fine. i wish would get their act together.

      • Angie

I was at Walgreens on Friday and bought some Cottonelle toliet paper. I used a regular coupon and Walgreens coupon and it was no problem. Wonder if this a new thing they are starting? I like getting deals at Walgreens, but their prices are too high to shop their w/o deals so if they start changing all their policies they are going to lose a lot of customers!

    • Janis

In one of today’s inserts (whichever one had the Off Clip-on Mosquito Repellent coupon), Walgreens had a half-page ad, providing a clearly-documented scenario where you can combine the $2 manufacturer’s coupon from the insert, with the additional $2 Walgreens in-store coupon from their coupon book. I put a copy of this scenario in my coupon folder, in case certain Walgreens tell me I can’t combine MQ’s with Walgreens Q’s from the coupon booklet. I’d suggest you do the same. Besides this, you might want to point out that manufacturer’s coupons do NOT automatically double/triple, etc. if you buy two/three, etc. of the item, but only use ONE coupon? Coupons from the May coupon booklet exhibit this behavior. ONLY Walgreens coupons do this!

  8. Elizabeth

Just returned from Walgreens and I’m disapointed. I wanted to do the Scrubbing Bubbles deal, but all 3 Wags here in town do not carry the fresh brush starter kit or refill. Then I went to do the Werther’s deal and the coupon in the May booklet is for 5.2 oz and the bag I was purchasing was 5.5 oz. Different sizes so they wouldn’t let me use the coupon (I thought it said 5.2 or larger, but I was wrong). So, I settled for Lifesavers.

    • Rochelle

I checked 3 Walgreen stores today and none of them carry the brush started kit here in MI either. I guess I will save the coupons for a sale somewhere else 馃檨

  9. Susan Fisher

I am from Chicago area and some of the deals posted for this week 5/16 matched up to deals from our ads from last week 5/9. For example the:free” Schick Hydro 3 shavers. This week it is the Gillette Pro Glide not the Schick Hydro 3 (which, by the way, I lost out on by going too late to Wags. They were out of them in three Wags by me.)
Which area ad are you quoting from? Thanks!

  10. Susan

Today I bought 4 boxes of Post sale cereal @ $1.75 each. I used 2 $1.00/2 and received $3 in register rewards. My total end cost for the 4 boxes of cereal was $2.00. Great deal; only .50 per box.

    • Michelle M

What kind of Post cereal did you buy? I didn’t know this sale price had a RR attached to it. I’m planning on buying Life.

  11. Anonymous

The Stride Gum deal is not correct. The BOGO is for buy one regular get a free Shift. The Walgreen Q is $1 off 2 Shifts. So if you buy 6 regular and 6 Shift you only get $3 off for the 6 Shift. So you are paying $3 for 12 packs. A quarter aint bad but it aint free!

    • Jennifer

I bought 2 packs of stride shift gum and the coupons worked for me to get 2 free. No problem. The coupon says buy 1 pack stride gum get one stride shift free. Doesn’t say what kind of stride gum you have to buy even though the picture implies regular.

    • Melinda

I also just bought all Shift gum and it worked fine. But I did learn a very valuable lesson the first time I did the deal – Hand over the BOGO coupon first before you give them the wags coupon in the booklet. Otherwise, the cashier will only take .50 off, leaving you with .25 gum instead of free.

  12. Lindsey

I read on SD that the Schick Hydro RR deal ended on May 15 馃檨 You have it listed as a current deal, so you might want to change that.

    • Toni

I read that too…was hoping it wasn’t true! I ordered coupons because we didn’t get the $5/1 hydro razors and i got them on saturday and of course all the stores were sold out by then!

  13. Valerie

I went this morning to buy the Zantac and used the $3 off from the All You Mag. and the RR did NOT print. They said it’s because of the coupon I used. They rang it up without the coupon and the RR printed. Anyone else had this happen on this item or another item? It’s not a big deal, I will just get them at CVS as they have the same deal this week, but I was a little annoyed that they wouldn’t give me the RR anyway.

    • Melinda

Yes, I totally had it happen on a Benadryl deal a few weeks ago. Buy 2 Benadryl products, get a $5 RR. I used a $5/2 manufacturer’s coupon. The RR didn’t print. I talked to the manager who ran it through without the coupon and the RR printed. We argued about it for a minute or two, LOL, until I finally got through to him that I had not used an RR to pay, I had used a coupon from a newspaper insert. He was like, “Oh, hey, then it definitely should have printed. Here!” and handed me the RR that he had printed as a test. And I left super happy. 馃檪

I did the gillette mens bodywash deal, with the register reward of $4.49. However I used a $4/2 coupon for gillette mens body wash and a bogo free coupon for gillette bodywash as well. I got 2, paid $1.03 and got a RR for $4.50 = $3.47 moneymaker for 2 bodywash.

Someone may have already asked this… sorry for the repeat if so! I went to Wags today and followed your deal scenario to purchase 3 packs of Pampers diapers (8.99 each = approx $27 total) and used coupons. However, my total AFTER coupons was less than $25, therefore I did not receive the RR. I spoke with a manager and called the 1-800-Walgreens number and they said that you must meet the qualifying total AFTER coupons to get the RR.

I’ve noticed lots of blogs posting deals like H2S where the total AFTER coupons is less than the required amount. It makes me wonder if I’m getting wrong information from corporate (the CSR did have to put me on hold twice to answer my question… that’s a little disconcerting).

Are you all having the same issue?

    • Alison

This has not happened to me before. I was going to do that deal today-we’ll see how it goes. Did you keep the diapers then? I hope this isn’t another change they are making. To me it should be $25 WORTH of pampers-not the end cost.

    • Alison

I just did it this morning and it worked just fine. My sister did it too and it worked for her. 3 packs of pampers diapers totaling about $27. I had $5.50 worth of coupons-still got my $5 RR.

      • Kylie

How frustrating!! I returned everything because the deal wasn’t good enough without the RR. I may try another Walgreens in town. Congrats on your good deal!

    • Mom of 3

I did the exact same deal last night without any problems. Got my $5RR and the catalina machine also printed out 2 $2/1 Pampers coupons, as well as a 10 point Gifts to Grow code! Sorry that happened to you…call Catalina!

Does anyone else have a Walgreens that won’t let you use more than one ‘like’ coupon on the same transaction? My store will not and it stinks. If you have to buy 3 items to get a RR, I can only use a coupon on 1 of those items so the deals are never as good.

Gillette or Old Spice Body Wash 10-18 oz. $4.49 = $4.49 RR
    Deal Scenario #1:
    Buy 2 body washes
Use either the Buy 1 Get 1 Free Old Spice coupon from the 5/2 PG or the Buy 1 Get 1 Gillette coupon from the 5/2 PG
    Final Cost 2 for FREE!

Does anyone know if the Body Wash RRs are rolling? This is the only Body Wash my husband likes, and is so expensive, so I wanted to capitalize on this as much as I could… I don’t plan on wiping out the store, don’t get all huffy at me 馃槈

    • Kim

I read somewhere that it is not rolling. Also, I did the BOGO coupon and paired it with the $4/2 coupon, and paid $1.10, with tax for 2 and got back a $4.50RR. So a MM!

      • Phyllis

Just an FYI, you shouldn’t use the bogo and the $4/2 coupon if you are only buying 2 items (assuming they are both mq’s). Even if the register takes it, you shouldn’t do it. You can use a bogo q with a $/1 q no prob because the $ is being taken off the item you are paying for, but when you combine a bogo and a $/2 q, you are getting $ off of the one you are paying for AND the one you are getting for free. Not meaning to sound mean or anything, just wanted to pass that along to everyone. Most times the register will beep and it wont work anyway, but for some reason these coupons probably were not coded correctly, so it is allowing you to do so.

I’m not getting the math on the revlon lipstick deal. $8 for one. $4 for the second equals $12. minus $8 (2X$2 May booklet equal $4 and 2X$2 manufacturer qpon equls $4 for a total of $8). 12-8=$4 divided by 2= $2. Where did $1.25 come from?

SCHICK DEAL ENDED 5/15…does not work anymore so don’t waste your time like I did. 馃檨

  20. J Nelson

Thank you! You make it so clear and easy to understand.

  21. Melinda

I don’t know if this is a regional difference in the coupon, but my $2/1 Phazyme coupon excludes the 12-ct, so I wasn’t able to do the Phazyme deal. Just a heads up if anyone’s going to try to get it, check you Q first! 馃檪
