somewhere the addition went wrong on the velveeta ….. if you buy 4 things, you can’t use 4 $1/2 q’s. I think everything else is correct, though …

  2. Toni

Yeah i seen that too ๐Ÿ™‚ You could only use 2… $1/2 velveeta coupons.

My Walgreens has a problem taking a manufacturer coupon for more than the price of the item. For example, the Post cereal on sale for $1.75 and I have a coupon for $2/1 . . . they won’t do it. Does anyone else have this problem? I am new to all of this.

you know what i did when i just started out couponing, is i emailed corp. asking them for thier coupon policy (since i didnt find one on their website) and all my questions in the email. they sent my email over to the local manager of the walgreens that is just down the street from me and he called me at home and answered all my questions within 48 hours of my email. I loved that cause then i have a real managers name to go back to and say “mark said you can do that”. I asked if you can lower down coupons if the coupon is more then the product. and he said yes we can you just dont get any overage. So maybe email corp walgreens and see what happens. hope this helps.

It’s the same at my store. I always avoid deals like this (manufacturer coupon value more than the price of the item). However, you can still get something for free if the manufacturer coupon value more than the price of the item. For example: Ivory Bar Soap $0.99 this week, use $1 coupon from Rouge Magazine. The orginal price is $1.49 at my store, I give the $1 coupon first, then the in ad coupon deduct $0.50. The negative $0.01 goes toward my purchase.

I went to Walgreens today to get the free Old Spice Body wash. I was planning to buy 2 and get 2 free with the coupons and get back register rewards by doing two transactions. The lady told me I could only get one register reward item per day rather than per transaction. Has anyone else heard this?

I think its YMMV.. I went this morning and picked up 4 total of the Gillette (bought 2 and used 2 b1g1 coupons). I also got 4 Poise and 2 dulcolax.. so I think it really just depends on your store and cashiers.

I don’t see the $1/2 coupon. Was that regional?

    • Melissa R.

All Sunday inserts are regional. Not everyone gets whats posted on the preview sites and even the values can be different. (like I get alot of $/1 in my inserts while previews may show $1/2)

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I can’t find the 1.00/2 either. Even it’s regional, you can usually find them for sale on ebay or other coupon websites. I searched everywhere and still don’t see it. Does anyone actually have one of these coupons? I see the .55/2 coupon.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Nevermind, I obviously can’t spell Velveeta right! LOL! Found them on ebay for 1.00! Got 20 of them. Shipping was high, 1.00! But for 2.00, it’s worth it, my kids go through these like crazy!

last time i went to buy the velveeta cups but no RRs came out. Is this advertised on the weekly ad? I couldn’t even ask the cashier to get the RR last time because I didn’t even find it in the ad.

  7. Andrea

I just went today and I did not have a RR printout. Should I call the 800 number?
