Wow! I just heard word about a very *HOT* rebate Walgreens is offering up in select locations! …And I actually feel pretty out of the loop because well, this past week I’ve been trying to play catch up on all sorts of other things that have nothing to do with deals and coupons. So long story short, I just checked my ad online and low and behold my area is in fact offering up this incredible rebate! Yay!

Rebate Details:
Spend $15 in a participating Walgreens locations on ANYTHING your heart desires and you’ll be able to submit for a $10 mail in rebate! Yes, you’ll get back a whole $10! This rebate offer is sponsored by Coors/Miller. However, in select states (NC is one of them 🙂 ), NO alcohol purchase is required. There are some other restrictions, so make sure to read through all the rebate info in-store.

Like I said, this rebate is ONLY valid in select locations. To see if your location is in fact participating, go check your weekly ad here. If the front page of your ad looks like mine (see above), then smile because you get to do this awesome rebate! Let us know either way.

(Thanks for the heads up, For The Mommas!)

You have to buy 2 12 packs of Coors or Miller AND 1 Bottle of Yellow Tail AND $20 worth of other stuff. I just came from the store and didnt realize I had to buy the wine too. I’m in Ohio.

      same for Tulsa, OK

  2. Linda

I saw the comment from Sarah that says the states that are eligible, but it is not in my weekly flyer this week. Do you think I can get a hold of a rebate form and purchase the items and send it in anyway?

  3. RR

Last time I did a mail in rebate with coolers and walgreens I never got my rebate check back, I called coolers months later and they said they never recived my rebate. Strange since I do rebates all the time and have always got them back.

Grrr… this is where I hate that I live in a wealthy area! We miss out on these great rebates! 🙁

    • anonymous

I don’t think it’s only for the ‘poor’ areas. I live in Charlotte and it’s certainly not a poor area….

    • Kim

I think that comment was kinda rude.

      • Christina

I didn’t say *I* was wealthy… I said I live in a wealthy demographic area. But, feel free to judge and be self-righteous. I’ll pray for you!

    • Alison

I think it applies to areas that don’t allow rebates on alcohol. NC, PA are two that I know of 🙂

      • Alison

ok I am wrong about PA 🙁

    It’s a no-go in Portland, Oregon.

So my ad says $15 rebate when you buy 2 Miller or Coors 12 packs and $20 of anything in the store. Not sure how that can be accomplished since our Walgreens don’t have alcohol in the stores! This is in Memphis, BTW.

  8. Sherri

Mine is with the purchase of beer too. Nope, that won’t be happening.

I just wanted to let everyone know if your WAGs doesn’t have rebates left on the display, ask the manager if they have any in the back. I went on my lunch hour and that’s exactly what I did. The manager said that people were ripping off 20 rebates at a time, so he took them in the back.

I’m glad that they are offering this rebate with and without alcohol in different areas. I was visiting my parents in OH and bought a paper on our way out of town. I was disappointed to see that their Wags ad had the alcohol rebate because it was worthless to me, but was SUPER excited when I got home and saw our Wags ad had the rebate WITHOUT the alcohol!!! I live in a dry county in AR so the rebate with alcohol would have been COMPLETELY useless (plus my husband and I don’t drink). Now to go to my Wags and see if they have it!!

  11. Anonymous

My ad does not have, but the tear pads were in my Walgreens 2 weeks ago.
My question…. it does not mention Walgreens. Does the purchase have to be at Walgreens?

  12. Tara

Ok so I have to buy the 2 Coors, 1 wine and $20 worth of stuff for my rebate in Ohio. Anyone know if our rebate is $20 before coupons? I went to the store and they dont have actual rebate forms, they say it prints out after you purchase the correct items. If its before coupons, I’m gonna do:
    2 Coors Light 9.99 each = 19.98
    1 Yellow Tail Wine 6.99 = 6.99
    2 Oscar Deli Meats = 5.00
    4 Sandies Cookies = 10.00
    3 Stayfree Lines .99 ea = 2.97
    1 Goody Headband = 2.99
    Total = 47.93
Use coupons 2 $2 OM, 4 $1 Cookie, 3 $1 Liners = Total 36.93 after coupons, get back a $5 RR and a $3 RR. And then submit for the $20 Rebate. I would use more liner coupons but the ad says a limit of 3 and I dont know how picky they will be since the value is over the sale price. Let me know if you all think this will work. Thank you.

I did mine with the two 12 packs (one of the 64 calorie kind – woohooo….and one miller light – less filling, LOL), a bottle of shiraz (I’ve been wanting to try a shiraz, never have)…and then I spent around $25 on two packs of huggies (had 2 – $3 off coupons and get a $3 RR), a pack of the huggies little swimmers (used the $1.50 coupon and Wags coupon for $2 off) – so, for buying the diapers I got some almost free beer and wine…or I can look at it as I bought some beer and wine and got some free diapers 😉 I didn’t see anything on the rebate form about spending the $20 before coupons – but mine actually came to $15.49 after coupons (plus the $3 RR) – so I made a bit of money….I could subtract that out of the price of the alcohol, LOL, I love going over this stuff 😉

My ad shows the items in your ad but there is no banner saying that there is a rebate. ???????? I am in Calif.

    • Toni

I’m in Colorado and it’s the same here. RR but no rebate!

  14. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Mine just shows RR on the website… SW Mo…

  15. Cheryl S

I am in Raleigh, NC and had to ask the store manager for one – he had them in his pocket. Said people were taking a lot of them, even though it says one per household.

Mine does not need to have alcohol purchased – but it leaves a few ?s about if the $$ is before or after coupons, or can it be done for the week or does it have to be in one trip?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I just let $13.50 in rr expire. Does anyone know if Wags takes expired ones. These expired yesterday. Any advice would be great.

This is concerning the $10.00 MIR on $15.00 Purchase.
I just called the 1-800 number at the bottom of the rebate form for clarification on some questions I had about this. (The lady was very nice and helpful.) I asked if the items had to be purchased from a certain store? She said: No, can come from ANY store. I asked about the amount being before or after mfr. coupons. She said: Before taxes, AFTER mfr. coupons. I asked about receipt(s) (This is how it is worded on rebate). She said: Can send one or mutiple receipt(s) in at one time as long as all combined (before taxes and after mfr. coupons) total $15.00. Hope this helps some of you who also had these questions. 🙂
