Did You Receive a Surprise in the Mail?!
Did you, like so many other readers, receive a surprise in the mail today (or possibly last week)?
If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, then you probably remember the *HOT* Pink Kitchenware set rebate I posted back in October, here and here. Well, basically you had to purchase $30 in select P&G products (before coupons) and you could submit for a FREE pink kitchenware set!
Anyway, long story short, this rebate offer had been long forgotten because lots of us got emails a few months back stating that Rite Aid (the store quite a few of us purchased the qualifying P&G products from) wasn’t a valid store for the rebate offer, so our rebates weren’t valid. Well, I guess enough of us complained because I’ve starting to receive quite a few emails about these big boxes arriving on readers doorsteps! What a nice surprise to receive!
…AND this is another reason why I LOVE doing rebates! If you did the Rite Aid deal scenario I posted back in October, then you basically made money snatching up a FREE kitchenware set. How cool is that?!
Yes I got mine the other day! I love it! I was soooo excited and had totally forgotten about it.
I also purchased mine at Rite-Aid. Shortly after I submitted, I received a letter stating that it wasn’t valid because it wasn’t a grocery store. About 3 days after that letter, I received another letter from P&G stating that they would honor it. Hooray! I did receive my pink bundle last week. It was such a great deal that I also submitted one for my daughter, unbeknownst to her–what a delightful surprise for her!

Yep, Got mine today. I had almost forgotten about it, so it was a delightful surpise. Also received my 35.00 P&G gift card from the Rite Aid promo that was also long overdue.
When did you get your Gift card?? I am still wondering about that one…I was just thinking of contacting Rite Aid…guess I should keep waiting??
I did not receive anything about Riteaid (where I bought my products) being invalid. I did get a post card saying they’d run out of sets and I would get it eventually. Mine came last week. I had forgotten about it, so it was a surprise.
I got mine today! I had completely forgotten about it. Seems really good quality too. Who could pass up a free pink frying pan?

I am so excited I did my Kraft rebate for $10 wyb $30 today. I went to Publix and got 8 boxes of 100 calorie packs (2.50 each- BOGO coupons -$1/2 coupon), angus beef oscar mayer weiner (free coupon from gift pack), BBQ sauce (free coupon from gift pack) and 2 kraft cheese blocks $4/2. I paid $30.22 before coupons- $5/30 (sweetbay coupon) – all coupons= $4 and will get $10 rebate 🙂
I made $6 and got all this food!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love it!!!!!
whoo whoo. doing the same today except i have a rain check for ritz crackers and the TQ to go along with it. What a deal!
I got mine last Monday!!! It was a great bonus because there were many conflicting reports as to whether CVS was participating or not but I took the chance since I had already purchased all the qualifying items (free after ECB’s and q’s!!).

I got my rebate…
I received mine on Friday and promptly gave it to the Mormon Missionaries that are assigned to my area as they have next to nothing. They were extremely grateful. BTW, I am not Mormon, just know in my heart that it was the right thing to do.
How nice of you. I am Mormon, and I know the Missionaries are living on a VERY meager budget, so I appreciate your service for them.
It is so wonderful to see people like you helping out our Missionaries. I know they really appreciate it as well as those of us who support all of them 🙂

I got mine last Friday! I plan on using some of it, but I hope to give the frying pan to someone who can use it as I really don’t like pink and don’t use non stick. I <3 my cast iron. SO AWESOME!
But the Fed Ex man pounded so hard he bout gave me a heart attack when he delivered it!!

someone did put the stuff up on ebay…I am not so sure about making money off of something that we got for free…maybe they could just donate it to a shelter/ non profit/ church etc
I’m keeping mine, or giving it to my mom, but I think it’s ok for anyone to sell their. That person did buy $30 worth of products to get the frying pan, so it wasn’t really free. I bought Dreft detergent, which is more expensive than other gentle laundry detergent. Don’t judge others!
Yes, I too recieved mine last Thursday and my mom got hers on Friday. Extremely impressed with the quality.

Sometimes I love my mailman, probably more than he loves me having to try to cram all that stuff in my mailbox!

I received mine (about 2 weeks ago) too! My submission was accepted, but I received a postcard that stated that due to overwhelming demand they were on back order until May.
Super cool freebie–especially since I normally buy P&G products anyway! (we have a baby in pampers, so to spend $30 is nothing….lol)

Got mine..but at first they said I did not qualify..then they sent me a letter saying I would get them…there was an issue about before and after coupon pricing..but they came through, and let us have this all the same…Yeh!

Did they deliver via FedEx? I hopenot because if I don’t have the tracking number FedEx nevers delivers to our house, I think we have a FedEx thief problem for real.,…..I’ll be so disappointed if I never receive mine 🙁

I’ve been noticing that all of our FedEx deliveries have had a barcoded post-it. So hopefully you’ll get it.

I got mine too!! A few months ago I received a letter saying I didn’t qualify, but then the next day got a letter that I did. I had forgotten about it, but I am so glad to have this in my gift box that I use for presents for other people.
This pan has become one of my favorites! My kids love the timer, too. I received my package a couple of months ago…LOVE IT!!

I got mine back in April! It took such a long time, but I am thrilled with the products. I never knew how bad I needed a new pan, lol. I wasn’t even a coupon girl then, just found the info on a tag in the store and went for it.

I got mine about a month ago. It was a great surprise. Went to Food Lion last evening and used my free Oscar Mayer hotdog coupon to get 2 packs free since Food Lion had them on sale this week BOGO. Thanks for all the money you save my family. I check you website al least 10 times a day!

I got mine in the mail a couple of months ago (purchased my items at ToysRUs) I too received a letter but mine stated that they had an overwhelming response to the rebate so it would take longer than expected to receive. I had forgotten about it so when it showed up on my doorstep, I was pleasantly surprised. We use this set all of the time 🙂 My husband even thought this was a cool rebate considering all that they sent.
They must be sending these out in stages because I got mine a few months ago. I had forgotten about it because, frankly, I didn’t expect them to send them out. It was a nice surprise.

fedex??? drat! we just moved. if it were through USPS it would have been forwarded. maybe i’ll go by the old place and see if they left it there. they never wait to see if someone is home. they just leave it and run!

I was just thinking about this the last couple of days and when the Fed Ex truck pulled up in front of our house yesterday and we weren’t expecting any packages I knew it had to be my pink set!! I used the pan this morning for my French toast! I’m so happy it actually came (and earlier than expected because the letter said June). 🙂
