Last week I received one! They recently redid my local Walmart (now I can’t find anything in the store anymore!!), but they had a ‘Grand Opening’ and sent a free $5 card.
i got one because of this too!

No Walmart paper for me today either and I thought it was weird because I usually get it with the other ads. Today there were ads, but no Walmart one. : (
I have actually recieved 2 in the past 6 or 8 weeks, the first was for a new walmart opening somewhat near me and the 2nd (most recent) was for the grand reopening of the walmart by me after they did renovations.
i got one last time they did this, maybe ill get lucky again!

I got one last week. But mine came in a mailer about our local store’s grand reopening. It was completely remodeled. It said enjoy this gift card at your brand new wal-mart.
i got one on saturday for re-grand opening for a wal-mart near me. I HATE walmart. but i’m definitely going to spend their $5.
I got mine a couple of weeks ago. The local Walmart has gone through some recient renovations and wants to make sure that the construction will not keep us from coming back. Although they have been remodeling for like 6 months, and no one (including workers) knows where anything is, and I went there one night and they had their employees manually moving the aisles, (put the shelves that make the aisles on wheels and had the employees spin them) and they chose to paint the walls an icky yellow color that is supposed to make us want to buy more stuff, I am more than willing to take the card! I live in SE Wisconsin.

I did. Ours was also remodeled. Had to validate at toll free # and am ready to shop!
I got one a couple weeks ago from a Wal-Mart in Omaha, NE that just finished remodeling and moving everything around. Just used it last week!
I got one last time they did it and got another one today! Nothing better than free money!
Received mine today as well in the mail. Almost mistaken It for just a small circular and was about ready to toss It! So glad I didn’t! Ever since our Wally World has finished their remodel, I can’t find a dang thing! lol I do think It looks better and like the fact that the aisles are much more roomier now.

I got mine on march.
I think I tossed mine when they came a few weeks back. Doh. I saw something on the ad and didn’t think anything of it because our Walmart is a pain to get into and doesn’t accept internet coupons. I was kicking myself once I heard there were gift cards included on the ad. I almost went dumpster diving near our mailbox but was too embarrassed and nervous to do it. This is not a good neighborhood, I’m afraid of what else might be thrown in that can.
You should discuss this situation with your local store. Their CORPORATE policy states that they do take internet coupons and there isn’t a single walmart that I know of that is a Franchise. I would certainly make a point about it. Good luck if you choose to do so.

I got one too. Used it to pay for my two June “All you”. Not only do I save WAY more than the purchase price of the magazine, I didn’t even have to buy the magazines. hehe!

Got one about a month ago. Wow, I didn’t know so many people hated WalMart. We only have 2 choices of grocery stores here and WalMart is one of them. I LOVE WalMart, just last night I saved $82 in coupons. Anyone that hates WalMart and doesn’t want to use the gift card, just mail it on over to me. LOL
We too live in a small town that basically only has Walmart, Albertsons, Walgrees and a few very small grocery stores. Sometimes Walmart makes me mad, but it’s an necessary evil especially if there is no where else to shop!
Me too! I like shopping at Walmart. We have 2 walgreens, 2 Walmarts, and 3 local grocery stores that’s it. One of the Walmart is very coupon friendly, and a guy casher is always good to us using coupons. I didn’t get any gift cards from them though.lol
Try being me. In our town we have ONE Wal Mart and ONE grocery store. Thats it! I do most of my shopping at Wal Mart for that reason.
I received one too because of a grand opening. Just a reminder that the card must be activated over the phone before going to the store to use it. It was easy to do. I also remember reading something about an expiration date, but forgot how long it’s good for, guess I better hurry and use it.
I never even get Walmart circulars! LOL.

You must only get these if you have a wal-mart in your zipcode. I don’t get flyers either. That is my conclusion since I don’t get one and my other friends that have a wal-mart in their zip code do.
I have a WalMart in my zip code and I never get any fliers or mail from them.

I got one last week and paired it with a $5 coupon off a Tag Book. So I got the new Toy Story Tag Jr book for $.93. Yay!
I received my gift card about six weeks ago! I was super exicted and have no idea why I was picked. I have a Walmart card and I’ve registered for free samples…maybe that’s how they selected. Either way, I’ll take free $5 any day!
The mailman was good to me today, he left a $5 Walmart Gift Card.

Well it looks like the cards are only for select areas, better to say for new remodeled Walmarts. All of my Walmarts were remodeled while ago and no one left to be remodeled 🙁 unless they open a new one which will be hard to find a spot for LOL

i HATE more than anything when a store “remodels”…why fix a good thing??? i can’t stand not being able to find things after they make “improvements”. Our old navy store is fairly new…go in last week, they completely remodeled it and the fitting rooms are in the center, you can’t get into one because people have to walk through there, and the checkouts were so cramped in one line of struggling past people…designers were brain dead. walmart does this same thing…i’m bitter hahah
