I think the biore coupon is gone.

    • MoKeaton

Me too. I was just about to say it says there are no coupons available for this campaign. 🙁

    • Carly Page

      Same here 🙁

      • Kate

I wasn’t able to get the Q, either. Stinks b/c I had to fill out the whole survey before they told me that the Q wasn’t available.

Hi Collin! Thanks for posting the clearnace items! I think the caluclations on the Jergens should net down to $1.59 a piece instead of .18!

    Thanks!

  3. Mary

I found the Nivea passion fruit lip care on clearance at my Walgreens for $1.59 so I used a $2.00 0ff 2 coupon that I had so only paid $1.18 for 2!

  4. Angel

Ok I am missing something here. On the Jergens is it a $5 RR it says $2 but $5.18 -2 RR doesn’t equal .18 cents for both.

    • Toni

Yeah you would get back a $5 RR not $2. 🙂

    • Ella

Well it is $5 RR not $2 she just did a small mistake and it equals $0.18 after the RR.

I really wish someone lived in the gaffney, SC so I can figure out Walgreens………all this fillers and double with the same coupon and everything else that is goes with………so if you live in the area would you mind teaching me so I can learn……cause I am a visual learner.

    • Christy Peters

I don’t understand the filler thing either, apparently my walgreens doesn’t matter because I go in there and only buy coupon things and some I do the walgreens and a manufacture coupon and I can do all of it. I do keep in mind if it were to happen to get my papers or gum I guess.

      • Angel

Basically the filler thing is you have to have equal number coupons to items. So if you have 2 coupons for the 2 items you are purchasing grab a cheap filler if you are going to use a Regiter Reward to pay. Register Rewards are considered coupons and need to attach to an item.

      • Jennifer S

If this helps… It took me a while to figure it out too. You can’t have more coupons than you have products. So say you buy 5 items and have 5 coupons plus RR you want to use you will need to find something cheap like Ramen Noodles usually around $0.19 or so then you can use your RR to lower your price of your other items. But you can use Wags coupons and mfg coupons on one item. So if the 5 items you buy you have 5 mfg coupons and 5 wags coupons then its ok. Hope that helps. It just takes practice too.

I have a question about the Walgreens coupon to item ratio that I was wondering if someone could answer. Yesterday I was at my local Walgreens, and I purchased 10 items. I had 8 coupons, but 2 of them were $2/2. I also wanted to pay my balance after coupons using 2 Register Rewards I had from a previous purchase. So, as I calculated, that gave me 8 items and 8 coupons, since the Register Rewards say “The total NUMBER of coupons and Register Rewards cannot exceed the NUMBER of items purchased.” A manager happened to be ringing up my transaction, and insisted that I must purchase 2 more items to also use my Register Rewards because the $2/2 coupons attach to 2 items. I understand that is the case in other stores, i.e., you cannot use $2/2 and then also use a $1/1 on the same 2 items. But is that also true for Walgreens Register Rewards, or was the manager incorrect?

Thanks for any light anyone can shed. 🙂

          • Michele

Sorry for the typo…as I calculated, that gave me 10 items and 10 coupons, with 2 of those coupons being Register Rewards.

          • fran

The manager was correct. You had 10 items, and in a sense, you had 10 coupons.
            6 coupons/1 = 6 items
2 coupons/2 = 4 items…right there you have equal coupon/item ratio. In order to use 2 RRs, you will need to purchase 2 fillers (it doesn’t have to equal the amount of the RR, it can be 2 20¢ items…then the RR amount will come off your other items. HTH 🙂

        • Anna

          that is helpful thanks!

  6. Ella

I got email that Jergens is $5.00 RR and I have $2.00 coupon. I just hope to find those ones on sale even if I don’t with $2.00 coupons and RR great deal. I use and love Jergens. Thanks.

  7. Collin

Sorry, guys… that was a typo. You’ll get a $5 Register Reward back for purchasing 2 Jergens products!

    • jennifer

does anybody live in hawaii and help me understand this coupon thing i would like to learn but nobody to help me i live on oahu

      • Dee

hi jennifer! i live in aiea and am a fellow couponer! there doesn’t seem to be that many of us out here, maybe it’s the ridiculous markup.. what kinda questions do you have?

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

aloha! I am from Oahu as well…I love WAGS and would be happy to help you figure out shopping.

          • Dee

hi char! may i ask where you get your coupon inserts from, like do you get any beyond the ones in our local paper(s)? i’ve come to realize just how terrible ours are here after picking up a few sunday papers while on the mainland… i’m trying to decide on a good coupon service to the islands..

  8. Elizabeth

Guys, what do you think of this scenario at Walgreens? I had a BOGO Q from June All You for Nivea Lip Care (clearanced at $1.58 at my Wags). Then I had $1/1 Printable for Nivea Lip Care. Now, at Publix, I would use both these Q’s since the $1.00 off comes off the one I was buying and the free one gets the “free” coupon. Walgreens wouldn’t let me do this. I am not one to ruffle feathers, but should I contact a manager on this one??

    • Jennifer S

I would they should allow you to use the BOGO for one item and the $1 for the 2nd item.

    • Angel

I like to stay under the radar if possible so I would say no but talking to the manager is up to you. If you have the Corporate policy with you then you will have more standing. But I think Walgreens allows some mgr descretion on this. when I say stay under the radar I don’t mean because I am doing anything wrong. I just mean I like to stay on their good side and mgrs remember who they consider trouble makers and can make it harder for you to get the deals that actually make you money.

    • Ann

My Walgreens let me do that exact scenario! I used the exact same coupons and it worked. Sometimes I think it depends on the cashier.

  9. Stephanie Wulfekuhl

I just ran over to my Walgreens, hoping they had the Charmin on clearance for $1.29, because I have a bunch of $1/1 coupons!! But they didn’t even have any 6 packs of Charmin at my store. Only 9 packs. Boo.

  10. jenny

hi everybody I just came from walgreens and was talking with the cashier about mark downs and she told me that the kent, covington, auburn area in washington states marks down prices on thursdays. So she said the best time to shop for clearance items is frist thing on friday!!! Happy walgreens shopping!!!!

  11. Imen

Anybody know about nyc? when they mark down prices?
The other day, i saw a lady buy a spa kit, that was normally 5.99, for 59 CENTS. I looked for one, but they we’re out. I was so jealous! So i just bought an arizona. xD

  12. Sarah

I found Cutter insect repellant wipes marked down to $1.37. Only cost .37 each after using the $1 coupons that came in a recent insert!

  13. Rebecca

My Wag’s had their store brand diapers on clearance for $2.25 per pack! I bought as many as could carry at the time (5 packs) and I may go back tomorrow for more! Just thought y’all might want to take a peek while doing your neutrogena/ reach/ecotrin trips :o)
