Sarah over at Give Me Neither is reporting that when you buy Smart Balance 1/2 gallon milk at Meijer, a Catalina coupon will print out for a FREE 1/2 gallon of Smart Balance milk! Also, after you pay a $2/2 Smart Balance milk coupon will print out!

It’s not working at Kroger as of last night – I tried…
My husband got that catalina for free milk when he picked up smart balance spread/margerine for me earlier this week.
I got a catalina for a free one at Weis. They must be doing a big promotion at a lot of stores. Never tried this kind before – hopefully it taste like normal milk 😉
Let’s hope. The sour cream is disgusting. It tastes like fish. The sad thing is, I saw a comment about how nasty it was, but I bought it anyway. Lesson learned.
Hah, that might have been me commenting how the sour cream tastes like fish! Glad I’m not the only one who thinks so! Wonder how this milk tastes! Based on my experience with other Smart Balance products (besides the spread), I’m not going out of my way to get it! Their peanut butter is pretty bad too! (tastes burnt!)
I was so excited yesterday when this happened to me! The coupon printed prior to checkout and then after checkout it printed out a $2/2 coupon also. I used it in conjunction with the oreo facebook (Buy one oreo, gallon of milk, and another milk any size, get an oreo for free). I sweetened the deal by using the coupons.com coupon for the SmartBalance $.75/1 (which doubled), plus the Meijer Mealbox coupon for SmartBalance $1/1 plus oreo cakester $1/2. Just a heads up though…SmartBalance milk retails for $3.99 for a half gallon, which is quite steep compared to a gallon at $2.

I read on The Krazy Coupon Lady that the catalina is also printing at Randalls and Safeway. I also would like to know if the milk tastes like real milk.
I live in Texas and I shop at Kroger. I have received 3 free coupons after I checked out. I bought it but havent tried it yet, 🙂

When I scanned a tub of smart balance margarine, the free milk cat printed!
Even better….the Uscan froze up so I had to rescan at a regular line…and it printed again!
I went to Dominicks on 6/12/10 and I only got a coupon for $2/2 Smart Balance milk from the Catalina. NO FREE MILK 🙁
Go through U-scan and you can use the coupon right away:)
I haven’t had the regular milk, so I don’t know if it tastes normal. But I did have two free coupons a couple of weeks ago & was a little nervous about what the regular milk would taste like, so since I already had plenty of milk at home, I got their chocolate milk, which was fine!
My Kroger in Irving, TX printed this catalina last Saturday 6/5/10 (any variety SB milk – expires 6/19/10). I didn’t even buy any milk – so not sure what triggers it, if anything.
I just remembered – I bought SB peanut butter last week – that triggered the free SB milk catalina. My Kroger had the blinkie machine with $1/1 Qs for SB peanut butter, which we love & I stocked up! The peanut butter was even marked down from regular price.
I posted this deal a few days ago and tried it last night. It worked great! The catalina prints AS SOON AS YOU SCAN THE MILK, so if you go through the UScan at Meijer, you can use the catalina right away and not buy one at all. The catalina is for up to $3.99, which is what the 1/2 gallon is priced at Meijer!
Best of all, THIS CATALINA is ROLLING– so if you do pay for the first one (there are coupons for $1.50/1 Manufacturer and $1.00/1 Meijer coupon you can stack), you’ll get the free catalina and you can keep rolling and get more free cat’s!!!
Not sure the end date of this, so stock up now if you need milk! Donate it if you won’t use it!

This happened for me at Harris Teeter on Tuesday! I didn’t catch it until after I had paid, but since soy milk, almond milk and Smart Balance milk has been very inexpensive and/or free recently b/c of HT’s triple & super double weeks, I have quite a bit of milk to get through first!
I believe there was a $1.50 off coupon in 5/23 SS as well. I stacked that coupon with the $1 Meijer Mealbox coupon making my first 1/2 gallon almost free (the milk was on sale last week for 2.99), then got both catalinas to print. I will be heading back to do the Nabisco and Milk deal that another reader did.
FYI-I tried this milk when Kroger was having a sale a couple months ago and loved it! We usually drink skim milk but their milk is thicker like 2% and the expiration date is much longer than regular milk!
I have not personally tried it but I bought it while at my parents house. They drink only 2% and they loved it. They were skeptical because it was “fat free” but like this reader said, it is thicker which appeased them. Hope that helps everyone…and yes, much longer expiration, which kind of makes me a little worried though if it is open if it would last that long.
I have a 1.50/1 coupon from one of the inserts plus a $1/1 meijer mealbox to stack! There is only one person in my household who drinks milk so we have too much milk right now w/ all the deals that have been floating around. maybe I’ll give it to the neighbors?
Milk freezes very well, if you have room in your freezer, just be sure to open & pour a little off first so your container won’t burst!

winn dixies are also printing off the coupons i bought sour cream which i wonder now about i didnt notice a fish taste and no one has complained.. but i ended up with the free milk coupon

It worked today at my Safeway in Silver Spring, MD! I bought the Smart Balance sour cream for $1.99. I had a .50 coupon that doubled. I got the free milk catalina. Exciting!!! So milk and sour cream for .99!!
It worked today at my Safeway in Puyallup, WA. BTW, for those who are wondering as soon as it scans it prints out the catalina coupon and there is nothing on the coupon which states it must be used on your next purchase. My cashier allowed me to use it on the same transaction. The catalina prints for a free milk if you buy the Smart Balance milk, peanut butter, sour cream or margarine. The peanut butter had a coupon machine next to it for $1 off. The margarine was on sale. There are also .75 and $1 off coupons available in the 6/6 coupon book ( I forget whether it was RP or SS). The milk was dated out over a month!
One free milk catalina prints per transaction. So if you go back and buy another Smart Balance product and do another transaction another free milk catalina will print off. After you pay for the items another catalina prints off for $2 of 2 Smart Balance milk containers.
I have tried this milk, and LOVE it! It tastes just like regular 2% milk, but it is fat free! I’m going to Safeway later to try this.
I bought this milk recently when it was on sale and it was nasty! It did not taste like milk (and I’m used to buying skim). I had bought 2 cartons and I ended up pouring them down the sink. I wouldn’t get this even if it was free.
Has anyone gotten it to work in Mississippi? I don’t live far from there, and I may try it at their Kroger!

Tried this today at my Meijers in Indiana. I bought the sour cream. No catalina for milk. Has anyone else tried this or know when the Catalina promo ends?
Friday night was the last time I got a print out for the free milk. Saturday (when I went to redeem my last free coupon) it only printed the $2/2. I guess it has ended or someone isnt happy about all the free milk.
I live in Stockton, CA I have problem locating a store that have smart balance milk . I do get the spread/ margarine but cannot get any milk. Prefers fat-free.
