Every time I go into the Children’s Place I ask them for a free shipping code…I usually tell them that I only found one size of something and that I needed 2 (I have twins). Sometimes I really do use them right away to get a matching item that I couldn’t find in-store, other times I save them in my coupon binder for when they have a great sale. Either way I automatically have free shipping with no minimum!
Just got my free shipping code by calling my local store in Winchester, VA. She said it was a one time code and if I needed to place an order to just call back for another! SWEET! Thanks so much!!

Try calling another store! Even if it’s not local…stores here in TX are pretty friendly!:)
The free shipping code is supposed to be for when you can’t find the item/size you want in store, so they are correctly following their company policy by telling you that you have to come in to the store to get the code.
I called a store in the town I used to live in. (we just moved to alaska) and they gave me a code just fine! Thank you to the lady who gave it to me, there was no hesitation whatsoever

I live in Oregon and had no luck calling any of the Oregon stores…I ended up called a California store and had to jump through a couple of hoops, but finally she reluctantly gave me code.

Too bad this offer came after I spent all my money at Gymboree for their red balloon sale. I’m a huge Gymbo fan and never shopped Children’s Place but for this cheap I may have to check it out sometime. How is their quality?
I love love love Children’s place. There quality is great! I shop at their outlet store and get amazing deals. Jeans for $5 and sometimes they even run a $0.99 sales!
For those who do Bing cashback, it’s 8% at The Children’s Place. Used the coupon codes and still got the cashback confirmation code almost immediately!
I think their kids’ socks are a great deal at 10 for $10. 🙂
The idea behind the free shipping code is if you can’t find an item in the store the sales associate will encourage you to go online to find the item and then provide you with a free shipping code. It is not something they give you if you call them on the phone. It is a courtesy if you want an item not in stock in a store.
I got 6 shirts and one pair of jeans for my growing 5 year old… short sleeve summer tops with sparkles… usually $9.99 each for $3.99 then 15%off… So it was over $80 worth of clothes for $32 shipped. Can’t even find many shirts at walmart for under $4 bucks and these are way better quality. Thanks hip to save. 🙂

The red balloon sale at Gymboree was better in store. They had lots of fall/winter stuff from last year and nothing was over 6.99.I am sure its all gone now. I scored two $52 jackets for $6.99. LOVE THAT!
I am going to check Children’s Place out though. We don’t need any more summer stuff but I always shop the next season. Hopefully they have some fall/winter stuff on clearance. =)
I bought $145 worth of clothes for my two year old for just under $50 today in store. Splurged on a 4th of July dress and also bought 2 tie dye dresses, 1 headband, 2 pairs flip flops, 4 shirts, 12 pairs of socks ( .59 BEFORE coupon!), 3 pairs of pants, 1 pair shorts and a hat.
called the pasedena CA store and got the code! 3 pairs of flip[ flops 1 pair sneakers and a pair of pants 23 bucks BABY!
Don’t know if anyone’s still reading this on Saturday, but I just got a baby girl’s Christmas dress for $0.99!!! Would have loved the red, but none left. I thought it might be a typo that would correct itself at check-out, but nope, 99 cents it is!!!
