Walgreens: Airplus Socks Register Reward NOT Printing + New Deals: Sharpie, Oral-B…
I have a quick warning for all you Walgreens shoppers. It appears that the Airplus Ultra Moisturizing Socks for Her priced at $3 are currently NOT producing the $3 Register Reward they are suppose to be. I’m hoping this issue will be fixed promptly, but until then I would suggest not purchasing these until they’ve fixed the problem. If you have already purchasing these socks, then call the Catalina company (1-888-8coupons) with your receipt in hand and they should be able to mail you the $3 Register Reward you should have earned.

The girl at my Walgreens informed me that she had been emailed this morning & told that it was a mail in rebate on the socks rather than a register reward. I’m glad she told me because I put them back.
I dont think that is true because I just came home from Walgreens and bought 3 pairs of those socks and got three 3 dollar RR’s
They weren’t printing earlier today. A friend bought these and they gave her a rebate form.

At my store (Texas) the RR was printing out, but the socks were all sold out! I also had a limit of 3 reach toothbrushes.
They had some oral b pulsar toothbrushes on clearance (not sure if they are the right ones for the rr, though)
I also had 2 coupons for free Always panty liners print out! I think with was triggered by the U by Kotex panty liners I bought!
Strangely, I have also gotten two of the “free” Always coupons and I checked my receipts and could not figure out why I got the Always coupons because there was nothing on the receipt that it could be tied into. And that was for both times, but I’m not complaining 🙂
my Always coupon was not free but it had 2.00 off and nothing tied to it.
I was coming here to tell you about the socks. I was bummed! I really wanted to try those socks!!
Anytime i have encountered an issue with the RR not printing out the managers have always given me the cash back which is better for me then i don’t have worry about loosing the RR or not redeeming it in time
The Oral B deal is only for today! There is an overlap of RRs so that is why they are netting out to be free after RR.
Mine also did not print…manager just credited $3.00 back to my credit card…Free Socks!
Mgr at my store told me they received a communication that the issue should be fixed by 5pm. They told me to call them before I come back out.
my walgreens only had 3 pair of socks and 3 boxes of the stuff for your heals (forget the name) and they were gone by noon. I only have one walgreens in my area and I was frustrated to say the least. Does anyone else have this problem? Should I call corporate and complain, or would it help?
There were none of the “freebies” left at my walgreens by noon either. I hate it. The same thing happens at cvs. If you’re not there by 9am, everything is gone. It sucks.
I have that problem all the time..and there are literally 20 walgreens in the area. There is nothing you can do except get there earlier, or wait until they restock. Why would you call corporate anyway?
I was at WAGS at 10:00 am this morning and they only had 1 Blistex left and 2 pairs of socks. I went to another WAGS 1 mile up the road around 3:00 and they had like 50 Blistex packs. I don’t get why some have tons and others have none. The first WAGS pushed an RR through for the socks and the second one gave me a mail in rebate form.
I work at Walgreens and I believe the socks deal is from June 30 thru the 3rd only. Check the paper for details.
My WAGS ad is the regular week-long deals no special dates only and the Airplus socks were listed as a RR deal.
My wags manager gave me a handwritten register reward, she said just to give to cashier on my next visit.
The manager at my Walgreens gave me a $5 Register Reward from Blistop instead!

It says on the rebate form you will get a ‘Walgreens Shopping Order Coupon’. I too would have preferred cash. The first store I went to have me a $3 Wags gift card. the 2nd said they were doing the rebate form.
If it is like it was when I had to do this, they actually mail you a Register Reward; it looks like the ones that print from the machines. If you do the deal more than one, mail them in separately. I made the mistake of mailing all my receipts together, and they only sent me one 🙁
They was a buy one get one free on Covergirl mascara blush or concealer, I had 2 coupons for 3 $ off a mascara and when I went to pay the 2 mascaras they said they would only accept one coupon. It was a good deal $5 for 2 mascaras but paying $2 would have been better. Was I correct to think that I could use 2 coupons even though it was a bogo deal?
Yeah, during a bogo sale, you’re allowed to use 2 coupons. This is the bad thing about WAGS, they have good deals, but no coupon policy. D:

If you are in one of the test areas, the oral b deal is for extra points and not RR’s. So be aware that the RR’s might not print. Check your local ad to be sure.

My wags manager told me to bring my receipt and products back on Wednesday to get my RR. He said corporate was trying to fix the problem for both the socks and blistex. Neither one printed for me. I couldn’t get cash or gift card, since I only paid 2.14 oop. 🙁
The RR for the blistex lip balm did not print for us, but I was using RR to partially pay for my transaction. The manager rang it up separate from our transaction and then it came out. None of my last weeks RR were for blistex so it wasn’t a “rolling” issue. The manager said, sometimes the RR won’t print if you are using RR to partially pay for your stuff. I have been couponing for about 3 months and always use my RR on the next week’s shopping trip. Did I miss something? Anyone else come across this?
(Also the Sure deodorant had no RR this week and is not listed in our flyer, but I did use a $1/1 and got a full size Sure for $.99, the crest toothpaste RR deal wasn’t in the stores either…bummer!)

There was a woman who checked out at the front register this morning before I checked out who had some trouble with blistex/socks and I was talking with the Manager (we’re old buddies now that I’ve been couponing there for 2 years), and we were talking about the problem. Turns out the cashier re-rang the wrong thing for her and they gave her an additional blistex rr in place of the socks accidentally, after we talked she ran back to the office and saw the email stating the socks rr was not working.
At any rate, no, unless the rr is from the same manufacturer/deal, your rr’s should print.

I went to 3 different Wags for the socks. The first one gave me cash back. The second one just gave me the socks for free. The third manager was so happy my friend and I didn’t yell at him like all of the other women that morning he gave them to us free and gave us and extra $3 RR!!!!! He told me the deal should be working tonight or tomorrow!

Just got back from WAGS and had a new experience – NONE of my Register Rewards printed, and the manager said, “I think there’s a problem with this register. You’re going to need to mail your receipt in and they’ll send you a gift card for the amount of your Register Rewards.” WHAT? No way. I told her to void out the whole order. Then as she was doing that, she said to the salesperson that she was going to reset the front registers so they wouldn’t have that problem again. After I posed the question – what would happen if I took my cart to photo? – she said she was sure they’d print there and to try that. So rather than just suggest that in the first place, she was going to put me through the red tape of mailing my own stuff away when it was their problem to begin with. All of the rewards, INCLUDING the extra $3 one for the B1G1 Oral B Pulsar – printed, no issues.
the socks are not printing in mid county texas – however they recieved a email saying they were working on the problem and told me to check back tonight.
i used my previous RR to score a gallon of milk and 4 2-litter pepsi for 99 cents.

I have heard recently that the Safeway stores were accepting RR’s from other stores to pay for groceries. More recently they apparently changed that policy to only apply to RR’s that are cents off or dollars off a particular item, not for just the RR cash. Wow. That sounds confusing. Hope I made sense!
My local grocery store accepts them!! Buying groceries at Harris Teeter (I have heard other stores too)! It worked great both times I tried it and a manager checked me out both times. They said they take it for two reasons…1) they take competitors coupons 2) it says manufactorers coupons. AWESOME!
I use them at the commissary on base to pay for groceries and I love it!!
My Bi-Lo and Harris Teeter both take them since they are manufacturers’ coupons. Does HT accept competitor coupons? Would they take Rite Aid $5/$25?
Both Dominick’s & Jewel take them. I heard Dominick’s will even take the expired ones.
The only grocery store I’ve had luck using them at is Jewel. I always use my RR there, it’s great!

I just want to clarify that if you use a manufacturers coupon for say an Oral B toothbrush and the toothbrush has a register rewards you will not receive the register rewards coupon if it is a register reward directly from the manufacturer. You can’t use a manufacturers coupon to get a manufacturers coupon for the same product. I hope I am confusing anyone.

I just did the Oral B deal this afternoon, used a BOGO coupon and got back a $2 and a $3 RR. So the coupon does not cancel out the RR.

Did someone tell you that when they didn’t print for you? That is always the “go to answer” when I have a problem with RRs not printing. It isn’t usually true. It IS true if you are using an RR from the same manufacturer that is supposed to produce one during that transaction. Hope that made sense.
Yes, I just left 2 Walgreens and both are now printing the RR for the Aloe Infused Socks.
I didn’t try the socks with all the issues being reported so I did the Dove deal instead. That register reward didn’t print, so the manager gave me cash. The crazy thing was, the way she did it I ended with $8 instead of $5. When I questioned her, she said there was no other way to do it. Good for me, but I’m not sure why/how it happened.
My WAGS knew the RR for the socks wasnt printing, so they rang them in at no cost…. I was really surprised they did it that way… NONE of my other RRs printed out! The manager eventually printed them out for me, but they also said they were having computer issues today.
I did the Prell shampoo deal and didn’t get an RR. I don’t even see the deal in the ad. Did anyone else have this issue?

My socks RR printed no problem & the cashier had me check since there had been issues earlier. However, there was no RR for the Sure or the Noxzema razors 🙁 So, I will be returning those tomorrow.
I saw on iheartwags.com that those deals are for a 4 day sale starting 6/30-7/3 I believe. I was confused too until I saw the special insert there.
You didn’t get RRs on the Sure or the Noxzema because those deals are only valid: “FOUR DAYS ONLY 6/30-7/3”. Return them and repurchase them on Tuesday 🙂

Just left WAGS in georgia 8:22pm and got the airplus sock RR!!
Socks RR are printing now… cashier said the problem was fixed.
If I bought several pairs of the socks before they fixed it and they gave me the rebate form, could I bring them back now and could they get it to print?
Also, would it have to be the same store I purchased them from?
Just as I got to the register, the big manager was coming up to tell the cashier that the socks RR wasn’t printing and to give out a “sorry your reward didn’t print” form to fill out and mail in with your original receipt. At first I was ok with it but then I realized I’m going to have to spend 44 cents to get their 3 bucks back. I know it’s only 44 cents but the deal wasn’t 2.56 in rr it was 3 in RR kwim? It annoys me that I’ll have to mail in to get their deal they advertised as available in store and even then if it never comes (as has happened to me twice with Rite Aid) I won’t have my receipt anymore 🙁
Call the catalina coupon company instead. No stamp required.:)
The Oral B toothbrush deal with bogo coupon worked twice for me today and tonight I got the socks with RR. This was working in Maine!
Thanks! Got the $3 and the $2 RR’s for toothbrushes with using the BOGO. The cashier just scanned my chapstick as a second transaction and gave me that $3 RR for my socks since they weren’t printing while I was at the store. I was also able to use 2 $1 off mfg. coupons along with the coupon from the July Walgreens book and get 6 packs of Dentyne gum for free.
RR are printing for the socks in Richmond, Va as if Sunday evening at 6 pm. I did ask the cashier who told me they were not working in the am, so they must of fixed it.

Other sites have confirmed that around 4pm today, the RR’s were printing OK again, which is why you can get them now.
the oral b did not work for me… the noxema didn’t either, so that one I now understand. I just returned everything. the oral b had a sign so it should have worked. too bad….
i went around 11pm and i thought i could purchase aussie, and john frieda but no rr. i got 5.52 oop return and my 3off coupons. that wasnt right so i complained some more and got my 2- 10rrs as well.
