Sorry, this is totally off the subject..but I’m new to Safeway shopping and I was looking at their coupon policy and was kinda unclear as to the rules to coupon stacking.
24. Coupon stacking policies for manufacturer coupons apply to paper and electronic coupons that have been loaded to a club card.
25. If a customer presents two coupons for the same item in a single transaction, Safeway will only accept the first coupon to be applied in the system.
If I have a manufacturer coupon AND a Safeway coupon for an item..can I use both just like Walgreens? Or is it only one loaded and one paper? Kinda confused. I was looking at the coupons they have in the weekly ad..and coupons I have. I have a manufacturer coupon to match some of theirs so was just wondering how that works.

Safeway will even take a Register Rewards from Walgreens because it states at the top MANUFACTURER COUPON. Safeway is one company who knows their stuff. I never have problems with stacking, or doubling at Safeway. Good Luck.
they will not accept the walgreens RR anymore…number 9 (on their coupon policy), I believe. They’ll take a cat that has another stores logo as long as it’s mfc and for a specific item/amount.
I bought goldfish last week with the mfc, and my ec also came off. I have not had any trouble with matching a safeway coupon with a mfc either. So, safeway and mfc (ok) as well as EC, mfc and SC. Hope that helps!

Still a bit confused about the paper and loaded coupons. I see the loadable coupons are from coupons.com site. And I have paper coupon from coupons.com too. So are they saying even though it seems a bit off…I can load a coupon AND use the same paper coupon? Am I correct?
Example:
Tropicana 50 products…there is a $1.00 off loadable…AND I have a $1.00 off paper. $2.00 off?
Hormel Party Tray…there is a $2.00 off loadable..AND I have the same $2.00 off paper…$4.00 off?
I guess I can just go see customer service at the store. I don’t really shop at Safeway unless there is a real good deal going on. But from other sites I read..you can really score big with these stacking of loadable AND paper. Plus if its still possible..the in-ad coupon with the manufacturer coupon. I see lots of deals I can get if it all goes the way I’m thinking.

I wanted to reply to your follow-up remark but couldn’t. I just found the loadable coupons at coupons.com yesterday and I’d really like to know if they will stack with a coupon.com printed coupon, too. Ok..so I’ll post this to a newer post too. But thought I’d give an answer to this burning question lol. I sent an email to Safeway asking them how the stacking works as they do not explain very well..or not at all for us mainland states. I wanted to know about the LOADED coupons stacked with PAPER manufacturer coupons. Can you stack them? Or is it just a loaded manufacturer coupon from the site..AND an in store paper coupon you can stack. Here’s what I got from them:

Thank you for your recent correspondence regarding the Coupon Policy at your local Safeway store.
You stated that you would like clarification on some thing regarding the policy. Stacking refers to stacking electronic and paper coupons. We cannot prevent 1 electronic and 1 paper coupon to be used on the same item. However, we do not allow multiple paper manufacturer coupons for the same item. We do accept 1 store coupon and 1 manufacture coupon for the same item.

So..it would appear that the coupons you can load at their listed sites (cellfire, Safeway, P&G) are manufacturer coupons and ethically cannot be used WITH paper manufacturer coupons.. BUT it also cannot be prevented either. I guess its just what you think is right. But you can load a manufacturer coupon and stack it with an in-store paper coupon. And I’m presuming you can also walk in with 2 paper coupons (that being 1 mfc, and 1 in-store) and be okay.
I won’t be stacking them if they are both manufacturer..but can still make some good deals stacking the in-store and mfc! 🙂

it took me the entire time I was cooking dinner and then the entire time it took for us to eat it to move through the pagees to sign up… but I did it! 6-8 weeks! I am a persistent little bugger…
I didn’t think the page would ever load for me, so I just left it and came back to it after about 1/2 hour and it was finally loaded and went through for me just fine!

Has anyone ever received an invoice and/or phone calls for these free magazines? I am a magazine junkie so of course I’m getting some of these free subscriptions. Well this week, we’ve been getting some phone calls from a third party company who claim the publishing company hired them because we owe for my husband’s magazine subscriptions (weird just his, not to mention they didn’t even get the right magazines he gets). I politely said, no we don’t and to please stop calling 😉 (side note, how they got our number is beyond me) Anyway, just curious if any of you have gotten invoiced and/or called? Thanks!
No, the only phone calls we actually get are from ones we pay for. Go figure. Sounds like these calls have nothing to do with the free mags you get. The calls are probably just a scam in general since they didn’t even have the name of the mags right. I have been ordering free mags for several years and never get hassled with phone calls. Every now and then I get a renewal notice in mail, but I just ignore them and my sub ends.

I got my confirmation email that said my magazine would be shipped to my address. My address is spelled wrong and I have no idea how to correct it. The email says to contact the magazine company. Are they talking about womans day magazine or mercury magazine? and How do you contact them? Any help anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated.
