   I just bought this last mont and the best prices I found were Walmart online 35.00 and then 2 days later Toys R Us had it for 25.00. So this is an awesome price. Target and Kmart keep having the books on sale! My daughter loves it!

   Thanks! I’m so excited. . . . I’ve been watching these as I’m a Special Educator and also have 2 toddlers of my own, so I will get plenty years of use out of this. I’ve saved up $200 in SwagBucks Amazon Credit since last November, so this will be FREE for me!!

   Tag Systems (but not on tag jr) are on clearance at toys r us right now for $19.98 as of yesterday clearance was an extra 25% off so $14.99 +tax. Might want to call your local toys r us to see if extra 25% is still going on

   The one on clearance at TRU is probably the one that holds 6 books. There is a one one where the pen holds 10, which is what the Amazon one is!

   The one at TRU is the one that holds 10 books. It was 14.98 today for the purple one. Wish there was a coupon!

   We found the Tag Reader at ToysRUs on clearance for $19.98 and when we got to the register, it rang up for $14.98!!!! I bought a pink one for my daughter for her birthday and two green ones for my classroom. (I am a second grade Bilingual teacher) We also bought the Chuck E. Cheese Pizza Maker also on clearance for $9.98 but rang up for $6.34!!!

    We LOVE the Tag!We bought it @regular price for X-mas(yes I was dragging my feet). I am so happy we did.It’s the best and the books are a great thing to tell people when they ask”What do they want for their B-day,etc” It is a good thing to buy a case to keep everything together.

    A good tip for the Tag reader systems – the normal Tag reader pen WILL work with the Tag JR books, and it is MUCH sturdier than the Tag JR reading pen..

    I went ahead and got my son stuff on clearance right after Christmas, but I did my homework first – no need to buy the JR first and then upgrade. I believe I got the Tag JR, three books and a case ALL for $25 after chirstmas at places like Kohl’s, wal-mart and taget as they clearanced stuff. I have been collecting a few more books here and there as I find good sales.

    THANK YOU to all who mentioned Toys R Us!! I picked one up for $15 today plus $3 for the 15 month service plan. I bought this same item back at the end of January for full price (withut the service plan) and it died in June. Ugh!
