They have had these great prices in the clearance section for a month or more, and I can highly recommend their clothes. My Mom bought some for my daughter recently, and they are really high quality. We also have the Abbee doll – high quality and a great bargain. Again, I would highly recommend the clothes if you are considering them for the first time!

I just checked the sizes of the Happy Green Bee clothes we have. We have the Medium for my 1 year old, and they fit her very well – she is wearing size 18 mth – 2T in most clothes.
We have the XL for my 3 year old. The skirt is a bit too big for her, but the shirt and tights fit her well. She wears 4T in most clothes and is tall for her age.
adorable! the only problem is that I have no idea how the sizing works. I couldn’t find anything on their website that could give me an idea. is XS newborn or does anyone know how it works?

Their clothes are so-so. Definitely worth the clearance prices, definitely not worth anything like the full prices. I ordered a bunch of stuff from them before this, and their sizes aren’t consistent within the brand. For example, I got several pairs of pants, and some of the larges were smaller than some of the smalls. And they fade badly after a few washes and not at the same rate, so he has some outfits where the tops look ridiculously brighter than the pants. These are definitely play clothes. But at about $8 an outfit, they’re pretty good for that.
I think the key to remember is these outfits can’t just be thrown into the wash with everything else. They are 100% organic cotton, and worth a little extra care. They need to be washed cold. I have had no problems with fading or pilling with the outfits my two daughters have. In my opinion, they are far better than just “play clothes” and far superior to the standard “Baby Gap” or “Children’s Place” standard “I have an outit like everyone else” clothes. They probably aren’t for everyone – but the clothes we have gotten from them have been high quality.

Thanks for posting this. We are traveling to China in a few weeks to adopt a baby girl. We aren’t sure of her size. These styles will be forgiving enough to work. Plus, the mix and match option will be great for being in 2 different parts of the country with different weather situations. I am very excited to get this order!
