Can I use the 10$ ECB from the first purchase to purchase the second box of Pampers? Will it still print the next 10$ ECB? I have never tried this before and I am too afraid it won’t work…

    • Nicole Z.

Yes, you can use the ECB’s from the first purchase on the second one. It’s not like Walgreens. I just bought two boxes this morning.

  2. Amber @Saving Money Wisely

Wow! I am soooo excited about this! Makes for an excellent deal on diapers and I still have $3.00/1 Pampers coupons from home mailers 🙂 Thanks for the heads up Collin!

  3. Andrea

My cvs n Mississippi has a limit of one…just tried the two and ending up having to return one box

    • Mari

Did they give you your 10 ECB’s back (if you used the ones from the first to buy the second?). I am worried about that happening to me, not getting them back. I could check the first receipt to see if it says 2 or 1 in the area of offer limit though…. hmmmm… I wonder if it will only work today or if it will work later on in the week…?

      • Liz

Check your receipt on the first one you buy. If it says offer limit reached, don’t buy the second one.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I actually was able to get 3. I tried the 4th put it didn’t work. I was able to the $10 EB coupon back. They gave it back as a CVS gift card (which is actually better than the EB coupon as it doesn’t expire in a few weeks. If a friend of yours has an EB card I would think you could use their car to buy even more boxes. This price is even better than store brand diapers on sale.

    • Samantha

I am in Southaven, MS just outside Memphis, TN. I bought 1 box today and it said I needed 1 more to reach my limit. Also, I used a $3 coupon off ANY Pampers diapers from Vocalpoint!

  4. olga

when I was at CVS yesterday I received and extra care coupon for save $4 when you buy both diapers and wipes. so be on the look out for that one. thanks Collin for the heads up!

    • Erin

Yay! This is what I am hoping for. Yesterday I used my $4.50/any box of Pampers and a $2 mfg coupon, and when I noticed the limit was 2, I figured I’d try my luck throughout the week to see if I could score a $4 on wipes and diapers Q.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

where did you get the $4.50 cvs coupon??

        • Julie S.

probably the coupon price-checker machine or bottom of receipt. doubtful it was at cvs.com

  5. Melissa

Oh man, mine was a limit of 1. I guess i will be returning the second one soon. I wonder how that will work since i used a $10 off $50 purchase.

  6. gloria

Mine was a limit of one too but it did come with a free Venus razor inside the Pamper Cruisers.

  7. marsha ray

the magic coupon machine gave me a coupon for $4 off a box of pampers. i love that machine.

  8. TeresaT

I got a $4.50 off big box of Pampers from the magic coupon machine a while back. So I used it combined with the Manufacturer’s coupon of $3 that Pampers mailed me. SWEET DEAL!

    • Crissy

That’s what I did too! My 4.50 CVS Q expired yesterday, but after reading posts saying several people had been able to use expired store Qs I decided to wait & give it a try. It did beep, but the cashier pushed it through without saying anything, so yay! I had a limit of 2 & luckily I had two $3 manuf Qs. Just the money I’ve saved in diapers makes couponing worth it!

  9. Elyse S.

Also if you do not already have your email address linked to your card you can do it on the cvs website and they will send you an email with a $4 coupon off any purchase. Make this deal even better.
Here in CA the limit is one, but if you have multiple adults in the house you can always just get a second card.

  10. Karen

I had a limit of 1 as well (I tried to buy 2 in one transaction, but I only got $10 extra bucks).

  11. P

used the $4 off any $20 purchase that I printed this morning. See cvs ad for details. Plus my MC and paid using my Free gift cards that I got for my prescriptions and paid nothing. =] I love CVS.

    • Tisha

free gift cards for your prescriptions? Where did you get them at?

      • Liz

some CVS accept competitor’s coupons, like rite aid’s, for transferring or buying a new prescription.

  12. BrenLuk

Limit of 1 in SC. :[

  13. Tiffany

Our CVS, North Las Vegas, had a table of summer toys 90% off! They were taking the toys out of the large boxes and putting them straight on the table. 10c bubbles! $1 nerf guns!

  14. Stacy

    limit of one in AZ:(

  15. Kim

This is how the deal works:
1st checkout- 1 box of diapers pay the $21.99 minus your coupons (you get $10 in ECB printed at the end of your receipt) (it does say limit one on this receipt) pay about $20
2nd checkout – 1 box of diapers pay the $21.99 minus your coupons and use the ECB from 1st checkout- pay about $10 (you get $10 in ECB printed at the end of your receipt) (it will say you have reached your limit of 2 on this receipt)
3rd checkout- 1 box of diapers- pay the $21.99 minus your coupons and use the ECB from Checkout #2 (NO ECB print out) pay about $10
$40 for 3 boxes of $21.99 diapers!!! Hope this helps!

  16. MamaAng

I’m new to CVS – can I use a manufacturer’s coupon with ECBs? Do I need a filler, like at Wags?

    • Julie S.

you can use both without a filler. they can even adjust the ecb down without any problems!

  17. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

In Cleveland TN I got 2 but u have to do 2 seperate transactions…I paid for second one with 10 ECBs that I earned from the 1st one! The cashier was very helpful! We tried buying both together 1st and did not work then did 2 seperate ones and it worked! GREAT DEAL! I paired with the 2$ coupons and a 5$ off 25$ purchase I had!

  18. Tisha

There was a limit of 1 at my CVS in Pa… My CVS doesn’t have the magic coupon machine yet! =( I can’t wait till they get one so that way I can score on awesome coupons like the $4 one!

  19. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

My store had a limit of 2. I’m so excited because i have 3 baby showers to attend and they all registered for diapers, so this till be sooo perfect for me.

  20. JoR

I just saw this in a magazine:10 $ off diapers or formula (free shipping & 1-2 day shipping) on diapers.com; enter code: AMBABYMAY10 (new buyers only, $49 minimum total order, exp. 10/31/10)

    • JoR

      same for code BTMAY10

  21. Annie

In Northern CA – 2 was the limit. Awesome deal!

  22. Tilla

i have two cousins, low wage working gals (not those kind haha) that are due in November. I am trying to help by getting things like diapers. I did the medco deal and got them each a pack for 1.83. If anyone knows of any diaper deals, please share. I do not have CVS in my state. I have walgreens, rite aid, albertsons, safeway, walmart, target kmart.thanks:)

    • MommySpendsLess

Keep checking Hip2Save. Collin posts deals on baby stuff along with everything else. There’s another blog, BabyCheapskate.com that does a weekly roundup of the best diaper/wipe and formula deals but those aren’t usually outstanding deals, just better than average prices.

Sometimes Walgreens will run a RR on Huggies or Pampers. Keep an eye out for Target store coupons as well that can be stacked with manufacturer coupons. I believe Collin posted an Amazon.com deal here: https://hip2save.com/2010/07/20-amazon-diapers-coupon-in-parents-magazine.html

You can also sign up for all the baby sites (pampers.com, huggies.com, luvs.com) and they’ll send you high value coupons.

I stocked up on diapers whenever a good deal came along (I consider $4 my target price for a jumbo pack of Pampers or Huggies). I did a search and found forums and websites where parents listed how many packages of each size they ended up using with their babies. I averaged them and stayed on the low end of those numbers when deciding how many of each size to buy. I think we ended up using only 2 jumbo packs of NB size (silly me I didn’t think to grab the rest of the package from the hospital). I can’t remember how many packages of size 1 and 2 we used, but she’s definitely been in size 3 the longest. If your cousins have a shower they’re likely to get mostly the smaller sized diapers. Some parents/babies also have problems with certain kinds of diapers so you might want to try to get a variety of brands but I figured if I was getting them cheaply enough I could always exchange/trade/sell them. You can never have too many baby wipes. As long as they’re sealed they seem to stay moist just fine.

  23. Kimberly McRae

Yes!!!! I made my purchase last night and noticed on the receipt that it did not say offer limit reached and wondered about that. I had make a separate purchase with his card so that I could get two boxes. I had a 5.00/40 CVS coupon also.

    21.99
    -10.00ECB
    -3.00 Manufacturer coupon
-1.00 Profit from the U Kotex Deal
    -5.00 5/40 CVS coupon
=2.99 I only spent exactly 2.99 OOP (half of that was taxes) the rest was ECB that paid for my whole purchase.

I guess if CVS gives me a 4/20 this week I will go get another box : )

  24. Mary

Just got my second box today 7/26 so it’s still working! I had a $5/$30 q from RB to use before Sat and I used my free Suave & Coke coupons with it. The Suave q’s gave me overage so I paid 4.41 for the swaddlers size 2, shampoo & conditioner and two cokes! Yay!

  25. Kristina

I was able to get the ECB on 2 boxes of Pampers (in separate transactions) in Central Indiana. Wahoo!

  26. Jen

I am in PA, and even though the little tag on the shelf said “limit of 1”, I was able to get two. I bought the first box and used the $10 ECB towards the purchase of the second….then I got $10 ECB back for the second box. I figured it was worth the try…glad I did 🙂

  27. Chris

I have a new grandbaby on the way and was excited to get 2 boxes of pampers for her/him! Between this deal and the Amazon deal of last week, I’ll have quite a little stash.

  28. Juliene

🙁 It was a limit one at my CVS in Yucaipa, CA!

  29. Lori

The limit was one in central CA :(.

  30. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Wonder if they corrected the limit back to 1? Went this afternoon and bought one and the reciept said my limit was reached. Oh well…still a GREAT deal!!!

  31. Paulette

    There’s also a $2.00 Pampers coupon in the 7/04 P&G insert that expires 7/31.

  32. Angela

I was able to get two in Shawnee, OK. Thanks for the heads up!

  33. angela
