  3. Annette

Sherwood, OR went 75% off this morning!

  4. Jenny B

Just got back. Spent a little over $200.00. But, the whole back of van is full (and the back seats are out-lots of toys!)

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Great Job!

  5. Steph K

Mine had clearanced toys yesterday but already picked over, not much left at all. I’m in Phoenix.

    • Erica

      which phoenix store?

    • Erin

Ditto for Richmond. I actually thought Target wasn’t clearancing as much out. Maybe it just sold out quickly here.

  6. Olivia Smith

What an awesome sale! I was just in Target last night and didn’t see anything more than 30% off…. I guess a trip tonight is needed to get some toys for Christmas!!! I look forward to hearing all that you all have gotten!!

  7. Danielle

I was just coming over to say that they were on clearance today! I got quite a few things for 75% off. Some things were tagged @ 50% off, but would scan at 75%.

  8. Rachael

Yeah, I was there yesterday too and things were only 30% off. I might have to head back and see what I can find today! Anyone in PA finding anything good?

  9. April

Went to 2 stores in my area today. One was 75% off and found a Leapster 2 for $12.48 (among some other great deals)! It is pink and purple and of course I have a boy but I had to snag it. It was the only one they had. Then went to another store hoping to find some more great finds but was disappointed that there stuff was still only 30% off : ( Took a whole buggy of stuff to the price checker to double check and ended up putting it all back.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I would have bought it too. Wish I would have found one! Maybe you can trade someone on Craigslist for a green one!

      • April

        Great suggestion! Thanks!

  10. Amanda

    Rachel are you SW Pa?

    • Rachael

I’m in Lancaster County… so, I guess more South – Central.

  11. Jessica Schwartz

Went this morning and as I pulled up a lady and her kids were sitting outside with 7 carts full of toys. Seh spent $2,500!! She bought pretty much everything :-[

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      wow

    • stephanie m

I hope it was just a case that she’s with some charity or plans to donate some or runs a daycare. That’s a lot of toys no matter how many kids you have. No good anyway you look at it. 🙁

      • Paulette

Yeah, not good is what I say. I know that a lot of people do that and then sell it on ebay, craigslist and consignment sales etc. I even know of someone that owns a small shop and that is how they stock it and make money, sad and not fair for the rest of us who just want to get christmas and birthday gifts for our families. Oh well what do you do?? I did happen to get a few things last friday for my daughter’s birthday and they were 75% off then. Wish I had more $ at the time to stock up on some early christmas gifts. 🙂

        • Erin

Yup. Every year, a lot of the toys clearanced out or that were super good deals (think .49 Alphabet Pals) end up on eBay. And it’s not just a parent whose kid received a duplicate bday present. Some people have 10-15 of the same item.

        • anonymous

          agree with ya Paulette!

      • Christy

        Hi Stephanie,
All of those items are NOT for my kids, that would be scary! I do have 5 kids, but I also do the shopping for several of my sisters and friends. Some of them work or have small children and it makes it difficult to get out, I call them while I am at the store and pick up things for them. I also pick up quite a bit of stuff for Toys for Tots and The Giving Tree for Christmas. These sales make it possible for me to be more generous for those in need at Christmas time. I also sell a few items on Ebay which will give us some extra money for fun family activities.
I think it’s very important to not over indulge your children, I do not give my kids more toys just because I got a good deal. So, no worries! I am just a Mom shopping for her family and helping others along the way.

    • Megan♥

She probably sells it on eBay

      • Becky

I have run into a few people who did that very same thing, and they told me they buy every year at this time for Toys for Tots

        • Tracy

I look for toys for my daughter and nephews, but I also pick up some things for Toys for Tots. You can get a great age range of toys during this clearance time.

    • Jen L

Ebay sellers too… toys are VERY hot at Christmas!

      • Jen L

Ok, so I obviously didn’t read all the comments before posting 🙂 But, you can’t diss on ebay sellers. Some people do this as their job, it is how they feed their families. It’s becoming more popular as unemployment rates rise!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

When I read posts about people’s shopping experiences like this, it leaves me in awe that people witness this kind of shopping. Well, this morning at ON, a woman in front of me was giving the cashier a hard time because her purchase was not going through on the 5 camis correctly. One seem not to be a $2 cami. Long story short, the woman revealed as she waited inpatiently that she had already bought 20+ camis at other ON stores (and it was only around 10 am). She also said as she left–she would be returning and was going to purchase more and there better not be any problems. I wondered what the heck is she going to do with all those camis???? Does she have lots of kids???

      • Anonymous

WOW…people never cease to amaze me at times by their words and actions! My adult son and i were at Target tonight and decided to see if we could find any 75% off toys for my youngest daughter. Someone had overflowed one cart with toys and was no where to be found. I had picked up a toy on a shelf a couple feet from this person’s cart (not in their cart) and was then accused of taking the toy out of his cart as he strolls up with a 2nd cart full of toys. It’s just amazing how rude people can be!!!

  12. shannon

too bad target is 45 minutes away. not worth the trip if i dont know for certain that theyll have anything left :/

    • Rachel

You could try calling, not that it will be much help… But you never know if you explain the situation, you just might get an associate with a big heart who will take 2 minutes and check for you. Just a thought anyways. I didn’t mind checking on stuff for people on the phone when I worked retail, and now that I have a 20 month old to go everywhere with, I call sometimes.

  13. Brandy

Our target started these clearances about 3 weeks ago. In every aisle there was a section of 30-75% off items. I bought like 30 items for 50 bucks.

  14. nicole

Anybody go to the Target in Mt.Pleasant, Michigan???

  15. Joan Southwick

shovels, rakes, and killer sandbox toys (sandbox buddies with the squeezy handles that opens their mouths), $1.04, down to 24 cents…… moon sand,,, cheap! got a darling shorts oufit for my grand daughter’s unbirthday for $1.75… shorts and cute tank……
Hot Wheels race track, regular price $26.00,, on sale for $4.68. better than 75% off even… toys for my dog,, 24 cents..
we figured we got about $160.00 worth of toys for about $34.00. plus the clearance clothes.
I saw really cute princess tea sets, doll shoe sets, wardrobes, etc.. just don’t have Little girls to buy for anymore….
spent $70 total,, also got keeblers summer chips deluxe cookies with multi colored m & ms in them on special for $1.50 a package, normally over $4.00!!!!

great sale, fun trip,, just a “quick” stop after snagging our Old Navy Cami’s… 5 for $10.69,, including the tax!!!!! the kids are off to Cheesecake factory for $1.50 cheesecake today,, I’m’ going to lake powell to eat cookies!!! and dream about coupons and deals.

  16. Stephanie M

Will go tomorrow and crossing fingers on a leapster 2 since my youngest dropped it in the water a few months ago sigh!!!

  17. Shahina

I stopped by the Druid Hills store (Atlanta) on my way into work this morning and to my pleasant surprise they had toys marked 75% off! I ended up getting everything I had been eyeing for weeks (plus more!)

    Handy Manny Laptop $7.48
    Iron Man Laptop $7.48
Disney Winnie the Pooh Phone $4.98
    Bubbles $0.48 cents
Bounce Back Cars (bought 2) $8.74
    Circo Crawl Tunnel $3.84
    Circo Kids Play Tent $3.84
V-Tech Crazy Legged Lady Bug $4.98 (bought 2 of these)
    ABC soft stacking blocks $3.98
    Iron Man Walkie Talkies $3.48

Then at lunch time I went to the Roswell Target and bought
Iron Man Semi Truck (talks) $4.98
Bag of 100 small balls $5.07 (my son will love these)
    Chuck the Talking Truck $8.74
Smaller Chuck the Talking Truck $2.48

I bought a few more items too but can’t remember it all. The store I went to this morning there was a woman there who had 10+ shopping carts full of toys b ythe time I left. She pretty much wiped out the entire store. I have never seen someone shop like that before. She literally went up and down every aisle and knocked the toys in her cart – leaving nothing for those who came later. Im just glad I knew what I wanted and grabbed it before she got to it.

    • anonymous

Good for you! It would be respectful if shoppers did not feel the need to take it all for themselves and at least leave maybe one or two items …lol

    • Johanna

      That makes me sick!

  18. Sadie K.

I totally forgot today was Thursday. I went there on Tuesday and most of the toys were still only 30% off and a select few were 50% off. Guess tomorrow will be a Target day before the park! Thanks for the post!!!

  19. Melanie

I got over $350 worth of toys for about $85. They had the Circo brand train sets, Thomas the Train, Tonka trucks, Ferrari RC car, and TONS more stuff. So worth the trip. I’ve been stalking them waiting for it to go 75% off. I’m in Houston.

    • SarahL

Your store had the circo train sets on clearance???? Lucky lucky! 🙂 I specifically looked at those when I got the other clearance items, because I have been wanting to get that for my son at Christmas! But it wasn’t on clearance at my store… 🙁

      • Melanie

They weren’t the huge full sets. They were the $20.00 ones that had 2 trains in them. I ended up getting 2 of these because all of the Thomas stuff was sold out.

    • Melissa

I’m in Houston as well. Which Target did you go to?

      • Melanie

It’s actually more in Tomball. 249/ Jones Rd.

  20. Tovah

Mine had my little pony and strawberry shortcake sets for $2.78!!! WOO-HOO!

  21. Laura C

I went this morning and was disappointed to find the same prices as a week ago with no further markdowns yet. Most things were 30-50% off, only a few at 75%…

  22. Jennifer

I don’t have kids, so I don’t check the toy aisle out very often, but I did see quite a few sales on Saturday when I was there. They had women’s belts for around $4 and I got a nice bra for $9.99 originally $19.99.

  23. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Remember to use the self-scanners to check prices! At one of my Targets ALL the signs still said 30-50% and all the toys were on the regular aisles…but priced at 75% when I scanned them!

  24. danielle

Went to Target in South Florida ( west Palm)…only a few items were 75% off..i even took things to the scanner, hoping they would be 75%, but no such luck..oh well

the My Little Pony, Strawberry Shortcake, Rainbow Brite and Ni Hao Kia Lan, were 75% off though

    • Nikko Menagh

I don’t know how far north you are, but the Target in Delray Beach on Linton is where I shopped today. 16 toys for $92! Lots of My Little Pony, Barbie, Transformers, Matchbox, board games …

  25. Nikko Menagh

Just got back from Target & I got 16 toys for $92! 3 of them were originally priced between $40 and $50.

    2 My Little Pony playsets @ $2.74 each, Barbie Mermaid doll @ $2.38, Rainbow Brite doll @ $3.72, Talking iCarly doll w/outfits @ $4.97, Tinkerbell hot air balloon playset @ $4.98, Cabbage Patch newborn doll @ $4.97, Pony & doll playset @ $4.98, Race Track with 2 cars @ $12.48 (originally $50), Transformers Bumblebee talking head gear @ $9.97 (originally $45), Transformers Shooting Arm @ $9.64 (originally $40), 2 Mega Blocks toys @ $4.98 each, Toddler Swing @ $4.98, Ironman Potato Head @ $3.24, & a Might World playset @ $4.98

    • Amy

Im going today! Thanks for the heads up!! 🙂

  27. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

WOW!! Lots of people buying lots of toys. Went to Kohls and Old Navy today and spent $7 plus on purse, 5 camis, and white top. (Got a ON $5 GC and $10 Kohl’s coupon to keep costs down). I seldom buy big purchases except for groceries. I’ve learned to make small purchases and save over the year for Xmas and B-days BUT best wishes to everyone and good luck shopping!

  28. Tallymomma

Now all we need is those toy coupons to come back out 😉 Great shopping trips!

  29. Kristy

Has anyone been to the Ft wayne In. stores in there anything left or are they even at 75%yet ? thanks

  30. Shelley C.

I would like to know if the store in Macon,GA or Savannah, GA has any of these deals. Does anyone know?

  31. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Disgusting how people act when toys go to 75% off. My store had people pulling everything they saw in sight into their carts and leaving nothing for others! And what really gets me is then seeing them refuse it at the registers! SO WHY THE HECK DID U PUT IT IN YOUR CART?!

    • Mom of 2

I guess it’s the thrill of competition….human nature is so predictable that way…lol

  32. Maman A Droit

A lady in front of me took 3 of the same Fisher-Price Little People Animalville town center that I was hoping to buy for my son…grrr. Lol.
I did get a bucket, shovel, watering can, straining scoop (water and sand can go through) and rake for $1.55 total and my son loves them!

  33. Maureen

Re-stocked the attic for upcoming birthday and Christmas presents. Our Target was marking all clearance to 75% as I walked in to check. I have three little ones ages 2,3 and 5 and this is the way do it every year so that even though I stay home now, we can still provide nice presents to our children on the holidays, give to Toys for Tots and have Birthday presents for other kids on hand at all times without breaking the bank.

  34. Esther

I had to run to Target this morning and decided to check the toys out. Tons were 75% off. I saw tons of cool school fisher price computers for 13.00 i had just paid 22.00 at kmarts toy clearance last week for one:( and we opened and are already using it. They also had diji at target for 17.99 marked down for 69.99. I bought 108.00 for 28.00. I’m happy i think my christmas shopping is FINISHED. What will i buy on black friday??

    • Amy

I bought that computer today! How is it??

      • Esther

My 4 year old loves. I think it is a really educational fun toy. I think you will like it.

        • Esther

They have extra games for it too priced 19.99 marked down to 4.89.

          • Amy

Wow I might have to go back and look! Thanks!

  35. patti

Marquette, MI was 75% off today. You need to look up and down all the aisles (the clearance is not all together) Well worth the trip. Thanks for the heads up, Hip!!!!

  36. Kristin

Thank you for the Star Wars deal, I bought $25 worth today and had no idea about this deal!

  37. Amy

I remember when I went back in Jan for the clearance, people were grabbing everything and throwing it in their carts. Today I went right at 8 am and I was the only one in the store. I got alot of great toys for my daughter. Christmas shopping is done!

  38. Tara

Called my local Target this afternoon and they said the toys were only 30% off. Said it may be a week before they reduce the price more. Maybe it will be soon!

  39. Amanda

Wow! So glad everyone got some great deals! How did you know that today was the day they marked everything down?

  40. Sandy Ross

I just got back from my target here in NOVA (outside of DC) and got $100 worth of stuff for just $19! (I had a $5 Target toy coupon from somewhere) There were a bunch of big trucks still there, Thomas, matchbox etc. I posted a pic to FB but I couldn’t figure out how to “tag” the Hip2Save page. Good luck! I think I will be hitting another local Target tomorrow to try and get more things for the holidays!

  41. Desiree

Mission Viejo, CA Target isn’t market down. ** Disappointed **

Hopefully I’ll see the 75% off soon.

    • Kate

Which Target? The one on Alicia Parkway or the one on Jeronimo? My experience has been that the one on Jeronimo, the newer Target, doesn’t have items on sale or clearance…..like at the end of isles, etc. However, the ‘older’ Target on Alicia tends to have the clearance & sale items.
I wish I didn’t have to work so late! I’m sure I’m missing this and there won’t be anything left by the time I get there!

      • Desiree

I went to the new one on Jeronimo. Guess I’ll have to hit the other one on the way home from work. Good point about the older one having more sales…I should have thought of that. Yeah for the ghetto Target.

        • Desiree

Uh…ya, Target on Alicia had tons last night. Score!

  42. Kelly

Is anyone in the Portland Oregon area? Know if the markdowns have hit us yet?

    • SarahL

Not sure about Portland, but Salem Target toys were marked down (Center st. one)

    • katie

not sure about Portland but i’m up near Seattle and i just got back, they were going through and marking them down to 75% off when i was there! 🙂

      • Annette

Sherwood went 75% off today, I heard Wilsonville will go tomorrow (they were Friday last January as well)

  43. Monica

There were great deals in Boise, ID this morning, but things were going fast!

  44. Jennifer S

I went on my lunch break spent $16 got $60 worth of toys! Yo Gabba Gabba Laptop for $6, HoHo the Monkey from Ni hao kai lan for $5, Balls for less than $1, etc! Going after work too! The thrill of the hunt I love it!!!

  45. Alyssa

i got tons of great things! Thanks collin!

  46. Brandey

Here in Round Rock,Texas I was able to get 2 Strawberry Shortcake Fashion Boutiques for $5.74 a piece (normally $22.99 ea). I would’ve stocked up more but that was all they had left. These are going to make perfect birthday gifts when birthday season picks back up again for us.
I also bought Clue Special Agent & Spies edition for $11 (it was marked 50% off).
All in all I spent $25 for 3 things which was not bad at all considering that was the price of 1 item.
Our location also had lots of Sesame Street, Nia How Kai Lan & Fisher Price toys.
At Target ladies had baskets & baskets full I felt for a sceond it was the day after Thanksgiving!
I plan to hit up another location tomorrow to see if they possibly mark more stuff down or bring it out. Because they we’re still marking things down when I was there today. Good Luck! I hope everyone finds a great deal or 2!

  47. Jessica

Boynton Beach FL Super Target was pretty picked over. Still managed to find some good things to put aside for Christmas. Not only were the clearance on the endcaps, but along the aisles too. Some woman showed me a dolls baby she was going to buy that was like 5 bucks. She got the last one, but there was a really cute doll high chair for 4.98. Most of the signs I saw only said 30 or 50 percent off, but scanned 75.

  48. Jenny

To go or not to go that is the question! I had no idea this event was going on. I was at Target on Tuesday and the toy isles were only marked down 30%…. do I check again today? hmmmmm

  49. Liz

Anyone know how to get to the leapfrog coupon. I logged in, but can’t find it anywhere.

    • Jessica

collin has the direct link I think
