This is only available through August 20th. Just go here, click on the book you would like to read, then scroll down and fill out the form.

Last time I highlighted this deal, many Hip2Save readers snagged free books, so hopefully some of you will end up receiving one too!

Thanks Collin! I was pleasantly surprised on Wednesday when UPS delivered a surprise package…a free book. I had completely forgotten that I registered and they nevery informed me that I had “won.” It was perfect timing because I just finished reading a book and was looking for another. Thanks for all the hard work you do 🙂

I completely agree about it being such a nice surprise via UPS! I won the book “A Mountain Between Us” by Charles Martin (which retails for about $14 on amazon.com)-so far it’s a great book and it’s even better since it was free…thanks again for all you do Colin! Keep up the great work!

i borrowed this book from the library and read it in a weekend. i would give it a B. the story was interesting but sometimes i felt that there was almost too much detail in the descriptions. at least he didn’t leave anything out, haha. i also thought that he set up the female character, but then since the male was the narrator, he didn’t continue to develop her as much as he could have. that being said, i enjoyed following them on their journey through to the end.

  2. Sarah

I am going to enter again…I won a book last time!

  3. Lisa

So far I have received three books from this program (received my third yesterday). Nothing better than a good “free” book! Thanks for the heads up!!

    • shoplessjess

i have received three (well, one is on the way) as well! 2 non-fiction and 1 murder thriller. i actually borrowed the last one, think of a number, from the library and just got through the first few chapters… i had to return it, then i found out i won! i have a pretty awesome library at my disposal… so if you don’t win, try to see if your library has it if you still want to read it!

      • Christy

How do you know one is on the way? Do they email you prior to sending? I haven’t received any yet, but I’m hopeful. 🙂 Just curious if I will receive notification or just be surprised.

  4. Olivia Smith

I haven’t won yet- but you all give me hope since I LOVE to read. 🙂 Thanks!!

  5. cheyenne

i luvvvvv this site! I’ve received 4-6 different books over the past several months!! ThanX for the reminder for the new ones!! 🙂

  6. Lisa

Wow, so many people have won! I’ve entered every time and have yet to win…maybe I’ll get lucky this time.

  7. Dash

wow… I have entered for ALL of them, and have not received one! 🙁 … I guess I didn’t realize it was a “win” drawing sort of thing. Oh well… hopefully I will win one of these days!

  8. Anna in NC

The other day I received my free book “Think of a Numb3r” It says “uncorrected proof – not for sale” on the front… That’s ok with me 🙂

    • shoplessjess

i read somewhere that all the books through read it forward are uncorrected proofs. these are the copies they send in advance for book reviewers and critics to read, so they might be a little different than the final form. i’m a proofreader (but not for books) so i’m hoping that it doesn’t make me crazy! even final books have mistakes all the time though. i found two in the final version of “the mountain between us”!

    • Malolo

This is the book I received as well, I was so surprised to get it, this was the 1st time I had heard of this program and the 1st time I applied, so glad I “won”!! But now that my classes are starting next week don’t know when I’ll find the time to read it….maybe over Christmas break.

  9. jenwh23

Was VERY happy to receive “The King’s Mistress” this past week. I had completely forgotten I entered the giveaway, so it was very unexpected little surprise in the mailbox! 🙂

  10. Christy

I have entered each time and have yet to win … I’m feeling LUCKY!

  11. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I hope I get “Shift” in the mail soon. (o: Looks good for my hubby.

My free book was delivered yesterday! I received John Verdon’s “Think of a Numb3r”….can’t wait to read it. Thanks Collin!

  14. becky

I too got a free book at my house this week I had forgotten all about!

  15. MH

Hope I am as lucky as you all! I love to read 😀

  16. dr_beanz

Many publishing companies have a similar program and I have received 3 or 4 books since learning about them about a year ago.

    • shoplessjess

can you tell us which other companies? =)

      • dr_beanz

If you google “Advanced Reader Copy” you’ll find several companies like Zondervan, Harlequin, Random House, Dell, Penguin, there’s even a web group called ARC Junkies and all they list are sites to get free books. Sometimes you have to write a review/comment on amazon.com or belong to a book club, but generally it’s fairly easy. If you have a locally owned bookstore if you might ask them too, many times they get swamped with advanced copies.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Anybody know other companies that do this?

  17. ginger

I got my 1st free book last week! I love to read and I am so excited to have won! (I never win! well until now!) Thanks for letting me in on such a cool deal!

  18. Deb B

  20. Sara

I won The King’s Mistress (they emailed me to let me know!) and can’t wait to read it. It’s in a large pile of books I have to read!

  21. Kim
