Although when I printed my code out, it shows the expiration date as 8/16/10 but over to the right it shows the expiration date as 10/28/10. I wonder which is right? I wanted to wait to use these for my anniversary coming up at the end of the month, now I’m not so sure I should wait to use the code.
I just called fandango to see which exp date was correct and he said that the code I gave him was incorrect and couldn’t be used.
My code that I printed out is 3 numbers, a dash, and then 5 letters and 1 number. Customer service at Fandango says the codes are always 4 digits, a dash, 6 digits, a dash, and then 4 digits with a combo of letters A-H and numbers 1-9 only. I’m off to call plum district now….just wanted to give a heads up.
Ok I just called Plum District and she said the codes are an error and she would email me a new code…hopefully that will happen. She also said she would look into this right now and try to get this fixed asap and thanks for bringing to their attention.
Similiar to Laurie my Green and Chic code isn’t working. Cheri, do you know if the all the codes issued today were wrong or just he Fandango codes? thanks
I can’t be certain but she talked like all the codes that were issued are wrong. I bought 2 tickets, one on my acct and one on my husbands acct, and they were both incorrect codes. I told her she would have alot of calls coming in because this was posted on Hip2save and I’m sure alot of tickets were bought.
The number Fandango gave me for Plum District was 415-777-3757 if anyone needs to call.
Sorry, I misread you question. No, I don’t know if the codes for the Green and Chic were wrong or not. I didn’t order any of those.
I didn’t know anything about the codes being wrong, but I got an email that said the code was wrong and that they would be emailing me a new ticket and about 20 minutes later I got an email with a new ticket #. It sounds like maybe they are aware of the problem and are correcting it since mine was done automatically!

I just received this speedy email from them. I have not received a new code yet but they have great customer service and seem to be on top of it.

Thank you so much for calling in this morning. It appears we had a human error last night causing invalid vouchers to be entered in our system. We have quickly resolved the problem so users making a new purchase can receive a valid voucher code. To those such as yourself who purchased this voucher before our correction, you will be receiving an e-mail shortly with an updated voucher code.

Just to follow up for those who ordered Green and Chic vouchers – I called plum district’s customer service and she let me know that when they have vouchers “like this”, they aren’t activated until midnight when the deal is over. That way, they see how many people purchased the deal and let the store (Green and Chic in this case) know. So, the vouchers should definitely work tomorrow.
She let me know that they are working on this process and that if nothing else, they will try and make this clearer on their site.
I got the FANDANGO deal and signed up once with my Visa card and another time with my husband’s. It worked great and we got tickets that would have cost $21.50 for just $12.

Have you checked your voucher today for Green and Chic yet? I tried mine and it still doesn’t work… 🙁 I did receive an email saying that they made an oops on this deal too and they would send out more codes but I never received a new code.
I received the same email and actually received a new code – but that one didn’t work either. I have a help ticket open with plum district. If I don’t hear back on the ticket by tommorrow morning I plan on calling again. 🙁
Hi I had the same issue 2 codes and neither worked. I got an email now saying that the administrator had a family emergency and would load all of the codes by tonight. I had asked for a refund they did not offer to issue. Great deal but to much trouble so I just called my credit card and filed a dispute for a refund. Hope this helps.
