I ordered the Toddler one last time and I just wanted to give people a heads up that i didn’t think it was worth it, at all. I pretty much paid $10 for 4 little books, so not worth it and i would never do it again. However, others might find this to be a good deal, just wanted to give my opinion : )
I totally agree with you on that one. I was very disappointed.
I’m in complete agreement with Tanya. This set is not worth it even at $10. I thought the board books would have been bigger, but they are tiny. I read to my 16 month old daughter every afternoon and night. I have found lots of books at the Dollar Tree that are Sesame Street and Disney. She’s much more interested in these. I would have sent the set back, but it would have cost too much to ship back.
I did get the toddler set as well and I do agree that it doesn’t really teach anything, especially not reading, but my 2 year old loves the cd with the cute songs and he loves the “Say goodnight” book. I ordered the pre-k through 2nd grade set now so we’ll see how it goes. Also the SLICK50 doesn’t work for that item but I did find another coupon code that got me 20% off by using SAVE20.
I was able to get the My First Spanish Words and Discover Reading Toddler Edition for $17.61 shipped. I wish I would have read the above comments sooner, but I am hoping my 2 year old likes the books and especially the CD’s– so that maybe we can cycle out the two favorites that her mommy is going batty listening to over and over again! Thanks Collin!
My 4 1/2 year old son has been really interested in workbooks recently… mazes, connect the dots (numbers) and matching… I purchased the super workbook set after looking on amazon and seeing that they are highly recommended!!! I also purchased the “Thinkin’ Science” software… looks like something he’d really be interested in! We’ve purchased from HOP before and been really happy with their products… While not just a couple of dollars, I think the $44.32 (including shipping) for the 4 workbooks (which are 12.99 each on amazon) and the science software is a pretty darn good deal! Thanks for the post Collin!!!
