I keep getting the following error “Sorry, this code doesn’t verify. Please check it and try again.”
Everything i tried to order was out of stock or in someone elses’s bag, didn’t get anything!
I placed an order yesterday and when I tried to apply/use the code it did not work and then screen went blank. I thought the order did not go through. Today I got an email saying my order has shipped. I got free shipping but not $20 off, Swirl said they would not honor 2 specials, the free shipping and $20 promotion. I said to cancel and Swirl said they could not. It took 3 times to “may I speak to your supervisor if you can not help me” but finally, I got a supervisor who said they would try to cancel. I also said I did not feel comfortable and would not do business with a website/company where I did not get the opportunity to review my order before it was placed.
Lesson 1 learned call customer service and check to make sure your order in placed or not placed if you have a question. Lesson 2 Swirl would not honor both promotions because they stipulated that was policy (even though I did not see that in print on the website). Lesson 3 they asked were the code came from. The customer service said that promotion was email to select customers and only valid for them.
I won’t do business with them again. CS not rude but I did not get a chance to review the order or see if the code would apply and reject the order if it did not.
It was a pain to try and find cheap things in my size in order to get the free shipping. So I just ordered a super cute turquoise dress, used the code, and got it for free – just paid shipping — ended up being under $10!! Great quality and cheaper than Walmart – I’m happy!
BTW – my total did NOT get over $20 in order to get the discount. Dress was $17, and code took off $17.
