Walgreens: FREE Air Wick Compact iMotion!

Hip2Save may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you via trusted partners and affiliate links in this post. Prices and availability are accurate as of time posted. Read our full disclosure policy here.

The Air Wick Compact iMotions at Walgreens are 50% off this week– priced at ONLY $3.99! Plus, there is a $4/1 coupon available in the 8/8 SS which makes these FREE! However, as you may know, this coupon will beep since the value of the coupon is $0.01 higher than the value of the item. You may be able to get the cashier to adjust the coupon down, but if you don’t want to hassle with that, you can do the following deal…

Buy 4 Air Wick Compact iMotions $3.99
Total = $15.96
Use 3 $4/1 coupons from the 8/8 SS
Final cost only $3.96 total– just $0.99 per Air Wick iMotion!

Here, ours are $4.24, so no problems with the $4/1 coupon. I bought 3 today. I have 9 more coupons …. dare I?!?! LOL!

    • Mila

Same here, they were $4.24, so .96 for 4 🙂

  2. Ida

You could also buy 4 use 3 coupons, after all coupons are scanned before you pay change your mind on one of them.

    • mary

Sadly that seems like the easiest way to do it

      • mary

I did that tonight had 6, 6 coupons and when the coupon beeped she handed me back the last coupon so I took one off. Oh well

    • jessica

      I had that idea too!

    • sam

      Worked for me! =P

  3. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Here is MA they are 6.49 each so it’s not free bummer!

    • Camara

I’m in Marlborough, they were $4.24. Check another Walgreens, you know they are on every corner here in MA.

  4. meganph

will there be an issue since the coupon doesn’t say compact on it?

  5. Mitch

In NYC they are 5.99 on sale, and they don’t take Interent coupons – yet!

there was a $4 off in the news paper a few weeks ago, call ur news paper to see if they have any back issues!!! (well if you live near them) I live 1&1/2 mins north of the city and our news paper has them most of the time.

Not an IP coupon: use the $4/1 coupons from the 8/8 SS 🙂

    • Mitchell Wischmann

It’s Walgreens’s corporate policy that all stores accept Internet printable coupons.

      • Deanna

Walgreens doesn’t have a corporate policy.

        • Deb

          They are a confused lot!
You get a different “policy” out of the mouth of every mgr you talk to…
make it up as they go along.

  6. alia

Here (Tucson) they were $4.74 FYI. Also the Listerine zero mouth wash was on sale for $3.99 not $2.99 so no free mouth wash, i was bummed.

    • Mila

Alia, with the $2/1 coupon and the $2 ECB, they will be free.

  7. Tanya Ford

I’m confused !! Why are yo only using 3 coupons for 4 items ?? I know the last one always beeps but the cashier just has to adjust the last one down to $3.99…thats how I got 14 the other day and I used 14 coupons.

    • Elizabeth

Not all Walgreens will adjust coupon values down. I know of 1 here in town that won’t but 2 others will. So, that’s why Collin suggested to use 3….in case you have a Wags that won’t adjust coupon values for you.

    • Kathryn

Because you must have a coupon friendly store. Because most stores will not do that at all.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Fyi walgreens managers cannot adjust coupons down only product up to match coupon. You all have to understand that yes walgreens gets money from manufacturer for coupons, but it is fraudulent to say they sold $4 of product for coupon when they only sold $3.99 for example. That is why you are all getting cold shoulder from management.

  8. ali

There is a printable for $2/1 (on the same site as the link Collin has for the other Airwick deal in the weekly match ups) that you can use to absorb the coupon overage for the last one. In her example, you could buy 4 and use 3 $4/1 and 1 $2/1, so it would be like $0.49 each, and it won’t beep or need to be adjusted. 🙂

Also, a better deal for the Oral-B 3/$9 with $4 RR is to buy 2 of the 3D White Advantage toothbrushes and 1 3D White Toothpaste,
use 1 BOGO Oral B manual toothbrush coupon
    use 1 $1/1 Oral B advantage toothbrush coupon (8/1 P&G)
    use 1 $1/1 Crest toothpaste 4.0 oz or larger (8/1 P&G)
    Total=$4
    get $4 RR
    TOTAL= all 3 free
(or, some regions only got the $0.75/1 Q’s for the toothpaste and toothbrushes, and if so, your total would still only be $0.50 for all 3 things).

Just trying to give Walgreens some credit–maybe it’s not such a lousy week after all! Free Airwick, free toothbrushes and toothpaste, super cheap Hot Pockets…… 🙂

  9. Danielle

They were 4.74 at my Walgreens. Oh well, no freebie for me.

They were also out of the Listerine, but I will still check the one by work tomorrow :).

  10. april a

My walgreens wouldnt let me use the coupons because the item didnt say starter kit but the coupon did. I am so tired of fighting with cashiers at Walgreens and Walmart over coupons.

  11. Heather-My Sweet Savings

These were $4.24 at my store in Clearwater, FL. Between 2 stores I got 10 without any problems! 🙂

  12. Hollie

My store had them for $3.99 but like everything I ever go to walgreens for they were out!

    • solution

easy solution..get them on the first day of the sale.

      • what's the deal

LOL Solution. I can go to my stores at 8:00 on Sunday morning and have them be wiped out. I found out that alot of people buy up the stuff on Saturdays, come in and return it and then re-buy it.

        • Barbie

the walgreens where I live start their sales after 5pm saturdays…but it only works for SALE items. If you try to purchase an item that produces a RR…it wont print.

    • Tina

My store re-stokes its shelves on Wed mornings. Your store might be different; so, ask before you waste a lunch break.

    • ali

Just ask for a rain check. My store always issues me a rain check for anything that is on sale that is out of stock, unless it is something that generates a RR, then the deal is only good that week. So, get the $3.99 rain check price and wait until next week to buy it when all of the shelf-clearers are gone. 🙂

  13. Lisa

My walgreens would only let me use 1 coupon because it beeped and the ole 1 per purchase bull.

    • Kira

I had the same problem, The first one was fine but the second one beeped. I love my cashier she pushed it through!

  14. Lesley

Our Walgreens in Jacksonville, NC wanted $7.49 for them….not a good deal for me! 🙁

    • Patrice

My wags had the larger Air Wicks for $7.49, but the compact ones were $3.99. Are you sure you were looking at the right ones?

  15. Jessica

I have done this deal before, but today when I tried it, the cashier would not let me use it because of the “compact” issue. I will try it again at another Wags!

  16. Julie

Okay, now I’m bummed. Saturday I found these @ Walmart for $6. I knew I’d seen the $4 coupons so on Sunday, I went back and purchased two, paid $2 ea….I thought I’d scored a great deal until I saw this post today : (

    • Ida

This Walgreens deal has come out before, so next time just hold on to those $4 coupons and wait to see if they go one sale if not and they are going to expire then you know Walmart is the place. You still saved $8 that is something to be proud of. Some of these sales come around again and again.

  17. Nichole

I found the large Airwick I Motion Sprayers at Target on clearance for $4.98 and used the $4/1 coupons. These are the ones that you use the new Glade refills with.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

At Meijers They had they had the ones org priced at 12.99 on sale for 5.99 I used the eye motion coupon so it took it and I received it for 1.99 🙂

  18. anne

I went to the Walgreens in Lake Geneva Wi. the cashier told me straight out that I would have to pay for one and not get all free, but she was going to keep all of the coupons!! I told her to adjust the coupon..her reason not too was because it was coupon fraud!! She said though she was going to ask her mananger..I was happy because the manager said” what is the problem? Just price adjust the coupon!! Yeah..I walked out with 6 free motion sprayers for my brother and I!! I would ask for a manager if you have issues..it worked for me..

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Tried and it didn’t work. Had to pay the sale price and not use the coupon. Said I could buy another like item, but that was the last one.

  19. Lori

I have to share that I very much dislike this product. I bought a few of them previously when there was a killer deal . . . but the darn thing made such an unattractive hissing sound when it sensed motion that it made me jump every time it went off. I gave one of them to my neighbor, and she hated it as well. Even had her teenager try it out and it kept waking him up in the middle of the night. So . . . if you’re bothered by things that make sounds as you walk near them, this would be a good product to pass on, even if it were free.

    • bali

😀 yeah i’ll pass on these too, all those motion sensor spray thingies annoy the heck out of me (not just the noise; I also REALLY don’t want/need them to spray stuff every time somebody and their cat walk by…)

    • Erin

I do like these–but only for the bathroom! I don’t like spray air fresheners because I don’t want to breathe the stuff or have chemical residues in my living areas. Bathrooms, I don’t care!

  20. sneha

    Hi,
I FACED THE PROBLEM IN BEFORE 3 MONTHS BACK WITH SAME DEAL,
IN THAT TIME I GOT 6 AND I USED THE COUPONS 5( WALGREENS CASHEIRS WILL GIVE PROBLEM)
    THANKS

  21. Ros

They are $4.24 in New Jersey (before tax) so no bleepage here!

  22. prettygirlbennett

darn!wish i had a coupon.. i wanted to try that!

  23. Jennifer

My Walgreens sucks!!! I politely asked the casier if they could adjust it down 1 cent and they said they never do that, and if the coupon is higher than the amount of the item they won’t accept it. Im getting so sick of Walgreens, I think Im done shopping there!!

  24. Mel

I bought these when they were 4.99 two weeks ago at CVS and I love them! I got some of the sprayers and some that are warming unit sprayers. I set it to low and it sprays once every half hour or so. I got 7 and wish I could get more. One in the master bath, one in the upstairs hallway and one in the living room.

  25. Michelle

I was able to get three of these for free today at my Walgreens. YEAHHH

  26. Deniese

I scored this deal and the best part….they were on sale for $3.99 and I have my $4.00 off coupon and they said you cannot use a coupon for more than it is worth….well I had my nifty Walgreens coupon policy from Collin and the cashier laughed and said “really!!, that is AWESOME!! I showed her that they have to adjust the coupon down to $3.99. I gave it to her and she called the manager over and they had to give it to me. He said wow, this policy only came out a couple days ago. See it pays to be informed! Thanks Collin for all your help saving my family money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  27. melinda

I tried to purchase 2 of the compact I-motions at Walgreens yesterday and they rang up fully price. Cashier pointed out in the ad that it doesn’t state the “compact” I-Motion, only the larger size, so this deal was a “No-Go” for me. 🙁
