NO, I have been told repeatly that you can not. They refused to credit me when I did this.

Qualifying Purchase

Do you get the Max perks monthly or is it quarterly like Office Depot? I have $100 in points at OD, but have to wait until Sept to actually get to use them.. hoping OM is different 🙂
Could someone give me a quick rundown on maxperks deals like this? If I do this deal scenario, then next time I go into the store I’ll basically have a $50 credit on my Office Max card? Or can I only use that money for certain things? How fast will that show up on your account? (Sorry, I’m new to Max Perks… obviously!)
The credit is for anything. I printed mine out and took it in and used it towards ink cartridges and school supplies!!
OfficeMax seems to run monthly 😀 Check your account because mine have typically being posted at least a week before I get the email saying it is available 😉
For those who asked, you can use the credit on anything next time. If you use it for other items with 100% Rewards, you still get your rewards back if you pay with previously earned rewards!

I was told the only items I purchased that qualified for the 100% bonus rewards was the Round Stic Grip Ultra Blk 12pk and the Brite Liner Color Asst. 6 Pack. The representative when I called said I should have got the .7MM Velocity Mech. Pencils instead of the .9MM. I am so frustrated that I am tempted to just send everything back and request a refund. I might chalk it up a learning experience.
I agree with Laurie, I only got 19.00 in Rewards, did exactly as was told. Cannot believe what a rip off. Last time I fall for that. Every time I try to do something like this it just doesn’t work. I don’t understand how some can make it work and others can’t. Especially when I followed exactly what I was supposed to order.
We were told that the Bicmatic 12 count pencils did not qualify for rewards. I would be much more careful in dealing with Office Max in the future.
