The Butterfinger Snackerz are only $.50 at my store and they have lots of tear pads. So far I’ve gotten over 100 butterfinger bars and snackerz for FREE!!! I have my halloween candy ready!!! Thank goodness neither me or my kids like them or we’d be in sugar hell, lol ๐Ÿ™‚

How did you pull that off? Your DG store registers don’t beep when it makes the item free? Our’s do and the clerks claim they can’t over-ride it.

There was a high value coupon in the 8-22 SS which is probably regional. (I’m in Chicago) The coupon is $6.00 off when you purchase 1 Schick Disposable Razor (higher than 2-count) AND 1 Banana Boat or Hawaiin Tropic Suncare product 4 oz. or larger. Does DG sell Schick brands?

If you’re having trouble finding the gain at walmart, try going at night. When I went, there was none left on the shelf, but I walked by later and they had all the big skids out that they were going to be stocking overnight. I seen a box of gain in there, so I grabbed a stock boy and he pulled them out for me!

Thanks for letting me know that the Gain is at Dollar General. I rarely shop at DG but went in yesterday for paper towels and didn’t even think about looking for the Gain. I have 4 coupons so I really need to get back there.

My DG won’t accept q’s that make items free. Even if it’s for $1/1!!! I’ve emailed corp. with no answer……

Yeah mine told me they won’t take internet coupons anymore and there is a big sign on the door saying they accept internet and newspaper coupons. I just told them I would go down the road at Target because they had the stuff for the same price and would take my coupons. I wonder if they will even take their printed off internet coupons!

DG is SO frustrating…I don’t think I’ll even attempt these deals. Our stores all claim that they won’t take coupons that make the item free. I’ve shown them the policy, but they interpret “no free item coupons” to mean no item can be free even if the coupon is for money off. UGH!

Corporate is a joke…never can get a real person. Maybe Collin can get to the bottom of DG’s issues. Please, pretty please? ๐Ÿ™‚

Our Dollar General does. In fact a lady was in front of me today and she scored 14 bottles of the gain dish liquid for .98!

Just left DG with 8 little boy outfits for right around $20!! yay!

Oye, I should’ve read the comments on here before going to DG. I went in, and just got the 2 bottles of Gain. I hate going into a store and just getting a couple “free” things and that’s it, but I really don’t care too much for DG, so I figured oh well, I’ll just do it this once. Anyways, I get to the register and I see the person checking me out is the “store manager”. She rings up my two bottles and then I hand my coupons and she says “oh, I don’t think I’m going to be able to use these, not at this price”…but I didn’t say anything and she just scanned one and it went, and she just kind of went “hmm” and scanned the next and it worked too, and I got two for just 12ยข and then she was all excited that I got them for so cheap. Guess I won’t get too hyped for DG deals in the future knowing there will most likely be issues.

Wal-Mart has the Gain for $.97 so it is a better deal if your Wal-Mart gives you the full value of the Q. Mine does and I made $.30 on each one and I bought 6!

Oh – I love a bargain! Couple thoughts on sunscreen though . . . check for oxybenzone (it’s not something you want in your sunscreen, you can Google for safe brands), and it is recommended to get new every summer since the effectiveness is effected by time. Normally, I love to stock up but sunscreen just doesn’t have a long shelf life.

Keep the great deals coming, love this site!

My DG wouldn’t take the bobo q’s but i still got them for $.15ea ( the mgr said “I don’t take bogo q’s”) got the gain for free. yeah

Oh how I LOVE Dollar General!!!!! I think I go in there about two to three times a week for just whatever,,,toilet paper/2 liter drink/etc. you name it. I do have to say though, one of the locations close to here had a sign up a couple of weeks ago & it said, ‘No more FREE items with coupons.’ Just the Buy one get one items. I had to LOL b/c I know that prob. meant they did not understand the whole coupon/manufacturer agreement, etc. and like the customer was ‘stealing’ or something! I didn’t have the energy that day to try & explain to them. ta-ha-ha~

  12. Sonia

My Dollar General has the huge bottles (30 oz, I think) of Gain for $2 so only $1 after the Q.
