        • lvmusic3

go to http://www.armandhammer.com to print a $2/1 coupon for the spinbrush. I use a sharpie marker to mark the front page of my inserts with the date when I receive them.

      • Alexis

Wow–definitely never realized that before–that’s really helpful for the times when I forget to file my inserts and have to figure out when they’re from! Thanks! 🙂

      • Mary

OMG, are you serious? There are dates on them??????

Can’t wait to go home and check that out!

Just got back from Rite Aid (in CA the ad started yesterday)! The Crest/Oral B is printing 2 up rewards when you buy two! Here is the moneymaking deal I did:

    Brawny Paper Towels $6.49
2 Oral B Cross Action Toothbrushes $2.99 each
    Orbit Gum $.88
Ace Instant Cold Compress (travel section) $1.29
Bio True 4oz lens solution $4.99
    2 ♥z*{</is,

    • Susan

Whoops! My two year old got onto my laptop while I ran out of the room for something! I’ll finish the deal in a moment!

    • Susan

      Brawny Paper Towels $6.49
2 Oral B Cross Action Toothbrushes $2.99 each
      Orbit Gum $.88
Ace Instant Cold Compress (travel section) $1.29
Bio True 4oz lens solution $4.99
2 Right Guard Aerosol Deodorants $4.99 (BOGO Free)

      Used $5/25
Used Buy 1/Get 1 Free Oral B coupon
Used $.75 off Oral B coupon
Used $.50 off Orbit Video Values coupon
Used $1 Ace Bandage Cold Therapy Printable
Used $2 off Bio True (I had a $2 off instead of the $1)
Used $1.50 when you buy two Right Guard
I also had a $1/10 that I accidently left on the top of my Up rewards and the cashier rang it through, but I don’t know what it was for.
Used $5 in up rewards from last week
Paid $4.88 OOP, got back $9 in up rewards ($1 Bounty, $4 Oral B, $4 Bio True)
I suppose it technically wouldn’t be a moneymaker unless you had some Up rewards to use, but it was a great deal anyway!

      • nikki

My receipt has 2 $2 up rewards for the toothbrushes also!

  11. Katie

Does anyone know if you get a raincheck on an item that should get an UP reward, will an UP reward print when I finally use the raincheck? For example, my store was out of the restorative pantene. I got a raincheck for it, but I’m wondering if it will also print the $2 UP rewards. If not, it’s not worth it…

    • Karissa

It might depend on how the rain check was written up. The manager at our Rite Aid is great and he wrote us a rain check that included the +UP on it. When I bought the product a few weeks later with the rain check, the +UP didn’t print, but the manager gave me cash instead!

    • Kimmy

Good question! Our Rite Aid has a memo behind the desk for this very question! Technically the store associate is supposed to issue a rain check for the sale price and then take the UP Reward and lower the sale price on the raincheck to reflect that amount:
      Example:
Pantene Restoratives on sale this week for $3.99 with a $2 UP Reward
The raincheck should read $3.99 when printed but the manager is to take $2 off of that price manually making the rain check $1.99 for the Pantene when it comes in stock.
So you won’t get the UP reward printed but you’ll get a better sale price 🙂

      • Annie

Mine was out today to, and our Rite Aid did exactly what Kimmy illustrated here. Actually, they wrote the RC for $2, but I won’t get too upset over the $.01:)

You are WAY off on the math for the Right Guard. You took the coupons off the price of one, not two. Not a money maker by far.

    • couponlover

she took the price off of 1, because it is buy 1 GET 1 free!!

  13. Dolly

I got the rain check yesterday for Pantene restorative. The manager gave credit for up reward and gave rain check for $2.

  14. Meriele

Can we only use one $5/$25 coupon in one month for one wellness+ card?

    • Mary

The $5/$$ Q from the VV, you can only use once (but there are two available to earn). The ones from redplum, as far as I know, you can use as many as you can get your hands on. I used several of the redplum last month….

      • Kim

I saved a couple of the red plum ones since they don’t expire until 12/31/2010!

  15. operation_new_car

I have a random question about the Olay Rebate (spend $30 get $10).. Do I need $30 before or after coupons? For instance, I had a buy any venus cartridge, get a free olay lotion.. so technically I didn’t pay for the lotion, which they’d see on my receipt when I send it. I have gotten other Olay items that could be added in if needed. Thanks!

    • Jen

Usually it’s before coupons, which is why it makes for such a great deal!

      • operation_new_car

Thanks! .. just wanted to make sure before I seal the envelope!

  16. Priyanka

For the L’Oreal Healthy Look haircolor $3 coupon…it’s on the front page of the 6/20RP. Expires: 9-12-2010

  17. Stephanie

I have been trying to watch Video Values for several days now and it keeps saying “sorry the video you are trying to watch is unavailable right now.” Is anyone else having the same problems?

    • Susan

I haven’t had that problem, but I have heard of other people having some problems watching the videos. Could it be a browser compatibility issue? I use Internet Explorer. HTH! 🙂

      • Jenn

Yes, that is the problem! I have tried many times in Firefox, and it always says they are “unavailable.” I emailed support and they haven’t gotten back to me. I was on my husband’s computer, logging into my same account (but using Internet Explorer), and it worked. Hopefully they can get that problem fixed soon, as I prefer Firefox!

        • Rebecca

I use Firefox and have never had that problem. Could it be a Java applet or flash problem??

  18. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

also a $3/1 arm & hammer cat litter coupon in this months all you. should make a sweet deal if you have two of those

  19. Nichole

I did a similar transaction, my total was around $33 and came down to a little over $3 after all my coupons. There was nothing on my receipt, so I asked the cashier, who called a manager, who was super nice! He rang up a return and handed me a $10 bill and 80 cents (for the tax)… I told him I felt bad taking cash, but he said it was the same thing. He didn’t know about the deal told me to bring him in some chocolate chip cookies sometime 🙂

    • tara s

the 10.00 is not printing. call 1800riteaid on tuesday

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Same problem here. The ad does not explain how the $10 is supposed to come back to you, so the manager at my store directed me to call Rite Aid corporate on Tuesday. Anyone else know anything different??

    • Lindsey

Mine didn’t print either but the manager said he would call on Tuesday and call me back when he got the info, he agreed I should get it being I spent the correct amount (He was going to give me 10 cash back or a GC but the cashier said I had to spend 30 OOP after coupons SINCE WHEN??? so he said he would call and let me know what he found out.) He was very confused as it didn’t say UP+ or Rebate.

My store has tons of the minis. Sorry for the mix up

  21. Michele

I have read several forums and no one has been able to get the $10 up on the Lysol/Airwick/Quantimatic deal. I spent 45mins arguing at one store. The key called my regular location (who doesn’t have power) & told her to issue a store gift card. She was lazy and told me to visit my regular store for the gift card. I think the deal isn’t programmed yet. I only did mine today b/c my coupons expire.

    • Kari

I did the deal and nothing printed. I asked the shift supervisor and she didn’t seem to know anything about it. The wording is rather vague and neither of us were sure if an Up was supposed to print, or if somehow my card now “knows” to take $10.00 off my next transaction? Now I’m nervous to use my card again because I want to make sure I’m buying enough to use the $10.00 (if that’s the case). Does anyone know? Thanks in advance.

  22. Zelma Hack

Went to our local Rite Aid at 8 this morning to get a fee deals. I purchased the required $30.00 worth of Air Wick to recieve the $10.00 reward. To my dismay the coupon did not print. Yes, I compained, which is nothing unusual. I have had this problem many times but this time I was not leaving the store without this coupon. Told the checker she could either give me the $10.00 or refund all my money. True I paid nothing for thise 6 air wick products but that is not the problem. It took me quite awhile to get all the coupons together and I used my $25.00 gift card. The assistant manager, which is my neighbor, wanted to know why I always caused trouble and why it had to be on her Sunday. Did not set well. She finally called a higher up and he said write on receipt that I was suppose to get a $10.00 coupon and I could use it on my next purchase. I had other things to get so I went ahead to use this coupon before I lost it. Has anyone else had the ups coupon not to print? I went corporate on this once and they said if a coupon did not print the people were suppose to give you the money right on the spot. I have no proof of this but that is what the lady said and my manager said the same thing when I asked her. Just wanted to know if anyone else had this problem.

    • Michele

Zelma I plan on emailing my district manager. When you call corp they put a negative review on the store you shop at. I feel this is a corp issue not a store issue for not programming the system properly and leaving the SM hanging on how to handle the situation. Thanks to the holiday weekend I won’t be emailing until Tuesday.

    • Karen

I just did this deal too. Had 2 very rude store clerks. Both said “Sorry the mgr isnt in. All I can say is you need to call the 800# for help”. Then one clerk proceeded to tell me it was because of all the coupons I used. That the rebate wouldnt print. Hmm…. I did say” an exclusion like that should be in print if it going to affect the rebate.” Well, she said we cant do anything for you. You cant get something for nothing.” That was IT, ok game on! When the 800# opens on Tuesday they will be hearing from me. I was going to let that go, since I only paid like $3 for all my items, until the snotty comment from the clerk!!!!

      • Zelma

Karen, if that is the case how come it printed the $5.00 reward for the Arm and Hammer products. I purchased 4 of the Spin Brushes and used 4 $2 coupons and had the $1 off of $10 wellness coupon + had the $5.00 off of $25.00. Had a $25.00 Rite Aid gift card, so I paid nothing for these toothbushes but the coupon printed. This makes no sense to me.

        • Karen

Thanks for the pep talk. I know its not right, but they pretty much have me over a barrel when there is no manager there. I have shopped there for quite some time couponing. And I have a pretty good attitude when stuff comes up that just doesnt work, however, when the clerks take it upon themselves to make up rules without checking and interject personal comments. That is WRONG. I worked as the head of customer service in a plant for a big three automaker for 10 years. I wouldve prob been fired for that. I have an issue with crappy customer treatment, I think that is where MY problem lies.

      • Emily

Had the same exact issue this morning (and our cashiers sound identical). I called corporate and they’ll address your store AND send you your $10.

    • Faith

I also went and did this deal this morning and the $10 UP did not print. The cashiers checked my math and receipt and took my name and phone number since the Manager was not in today. Hopefully he will call tomorrow and I can get the $10.

  23. Nichole

This is the issue I had. No $10 printed out and no one new what was going on. I will be calling on Tuesday. I returned my stuff because I’m not losing all those coupons for nothing.

    • Zelma

Yes, I know ths leaves a negative on the store, but what else are we to do? When I called did not leave the number of the store and did it as a general question. Yes, she mailed me two coupons and that gave them my address and my nearnest Rite Aid. This is a corporate issue and I do not think they should not blame the stores. Also, I have been having alot of problems with the rebates lately. Purchasing the right products and being denied the rebate. Has anyone else had this problem. i also think that I was treated rudely and that did not sit well.

  24. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I went to rite aid this morning to to do the $30.00 deal I bought 3 mini air wicks at 4.99 each 3 imotion at 4.99 and 1 Lysol hand soap system which totaled way over $30.00 use 6 $4;00 off coupons and did not recive to $10.00 off coupon back when asked the manager said it had to be before coupons what a crock

    • Zelma

The ad does not say that. It says Save $10 off your nest Rite Aid purchase when you buy $30 of these participating products with your wellness+card Save and stock up. Look on page 4 of the ad.

  25. Nichole

Ladies I really suggest returning th items until we figure out whats going on. I will try to call tomorrow but there may be no one there due to the holiday. I think we should ALL call so they know the issue and can better educate their store managers/employees

  26. Cherie Roche

My store changed their policy to one Up reward per item. The clerk apologized because she is so nice. It will take a little time each week to figure out my Up’s (like Walgreens). But they still have great deals!

    • tara s

what do you mean by it, when you are redeeming them? or when you are buying them. either way they cant do that. print out the policy and call corp. you can redeem as many as you want as long as it doesnt go neg or into the tax and doesnt include items like tobacco and such. and they can limit you buying items but cant take away ups that print out.

  27. aw

i tried the air wick freshener deals but did not get the $10 coupon for my next purchase. after all the coupons my out of pocket was 6.45. original price before coupon was 31.50 around there. they said because i did not actually spend $30 is the reason i did not get the coupon. does this make sense?

    • lvmusic3

As long as you had $30 before tax, it doesn’t matter how many coupons you used, you should still have received the +up. Same thing happened to me. Call 1-800-riteaid and speak to a representative. Have your receipt in front of you because they will ask for that information. If you qualify, they will send you the +up in the mail. Don’t give up…10 bucks is 10 bucks!

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

        That’s right!

  28. Jennifer M

I did the air wick deal and did not get anything printed as well…but the supervisor was very nice about it and after adding everything up on the calculator to make sure I had over 30$, she gave me a 10$ gift card. On the bright side, everything at my Rite Aid (southern CA) was cheaper than the scenario listed (10.99 regular price for the finish quantumatic, 9.99 regular price for the airwick compact, all 50% off of course). On the downside, I didn’t know this going in so I had to come up with coupons for random things on the list of items that would qualify for the 10/30 promo. Ended up with 2x the spray n wash for 2.50 each – 2 .50 cent coupons in order to put the total of 30.

    • Jennifer M

      I meant “over 30.00” not “of 30”

  29. nikki

    $1 coupon x 2
    Total $2 ($1 each)

    Total after tax $10.58
    Saved $29.95

  30. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Sometimes at Rite Aid, as in life, there are glitches. I regularly go to 5 different stores and in the past year and a half I have had a few problems. Usually the managers are extremely helpful and the cashiers cheer me on when they see my totals go down. Yesterday I had a problem with an Up reward scanning because I had tried to use it the week before but at my own mistake….toward tax. This week it said “coupon previously used”. I was bummed for a moment, but then laughed it off, because I have been lucky enough to get hundreds of dollars worth of items free for myself and to give away. There is absolutely no other store like Rite Aid. If you have a big problem….they’ll fix it. But…cover your problem with honey, not vinegar.

    • Kelly

Love your positive attitude! I love Rite Aid and the occasional “issues” may get a little aggravating but in the long run it’s still a GREAT place to shop. My local Rite Aid is always ready to do whatever it takes to make things right with me! Happy saving!

    • Stacey Bee

Yes…great attitude! You’ll need a great attitude if you are going to shop at Rite Aid..hehehe 🙂

    • Lachelle

      You are awesome! Great comment!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Kenac- I have had the same problem when using UP rewards -used before tax &cash register denies it & then it is voided out the next time I try and use it. I called the 1-800 number and they sent me new coupons valued at the same amount of the voided UP rewards. So if you feel like calling you can get your UP reward back.

      • kenac

thanks for the suggestion…and I’m glad I’m not the only one! since it was a small amount I will take it as a lesson learned. if it were 10 bucks I’d be on the phone! ….and thanks everyone for the nice comments, I had feared I might get slammed 🙂

  31. Jen

Is it possible this $10 off your next purchase is linked to the Wellness Card – and the next time the Wellness card is used, the $10 will come off your order? Sort of like an electronic coupon?

It doesn’t say “Up Reward” in the ad, so maybe it’s not a coupon that’s supposed to print – it says you have to use your Wellness card, so maybe it’s linked to the card.

    • Fay

In the store there is an advertisement for this offer and it shows the ups reward beause I brought it to the attention to the clerks yesterday. I also purchased other items in the store after this purchase and it did not show any $10.00 on the card. My clerks did call someone higher up and they told them to write on my receipt that I was suppose to get the $10.00 on my next visit. The clerk signed this so I will see how it works.

  32. dawn

Whenever a up reward doesn’t print, just call 1-800-riteaid, and press the option for wellness plus, and tell the representative, and they will mail you the up reward. I have had to do it a few times. Also, the up rewards that they mail you have much longer expiration dates, so that comes in handy sometimes when there aren’t anything to roll them on.

    • Stacey Bee

But be sure they tell you exactly what they are going to mail you. I once called them because I didn’t recieve a $4.00 plus up and they sent me (4) coupons for $1.00 off and the coupons specified only one coupon per transaction!!! Grr…Not the same thing at all 🙁

  33. Mouni

Rite Aid high amount up rewards seem to get these kinds of problems more oftern than other rewards, I had the same problem last week where i was supposed to get 15 up rewards for buying PG products but they didn’t print. Thankfully the manager was really helpful and gave me a 15 $ gift card after checking my receipt and making sure i had done everything right. It took forever though. They really need to fix this. It happened to me twice in 3 weeks!

  34. margaret in seattle

i just came back from my local rite aid with a big smile on the face, not only my favorite manager helped me checking out, but also had a money making deal. igot 2 of the oral b toothbrush with B1G1 and $.75 off coupons, it did print out TWO $2 +up rewards. i guess they didn’t really fix the “bug”. well…great for us. plus. i pick the cheapest c-booth product- walnut shell body scrub & cleanser. marked $6.29 on the shelf but only ran at $4.99 on sale at checkout. turned out to be a free item!! pay attention to your receip. happy shopping!

    • Dana

rite aid is no longer going to limit the up-rewards on items,,, unless marked in ad as that way, you can now get up rewards on all the mds. you purchase

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I thought they recently started showing the limit on UP+ rewards on the ad, and most are limited to 1 per household. You’re saying they will remove the limits on most items?

  35. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I had problem combining the in ad coupon and Video Value coupon for this deal:

L’Oreal Excellence or Excellence To-Go Hair Color $8.99
Use the $3/1 coupon from the 8/15 RP or found here
Use the $2/1 August Video Values coupon (if you viewed it last month)
    Use the $2/1 in-ad coupon
    Pay $1.99
    Get a $2 +Up Reward
    Final Cost FREE!

I was told that since they both begin with RC49….they cannot be combined.

    Anyone else tried this deal?

    • Dana

new policy is you can use 1 coupon with the numbers 49, 5, 48 per product, so you can use 3 coupons per product, and can use as many up-rewards as you want, up to tax level

    • EMILY

It happened to me also, VV start at 49 and in-ad is 49.

  36. Erika

Does anyone know how to get the 5/25 coupon off redplum. When I put in the listedzip it doesn’t show up.

    • amanda

you can actually just type “rite aid” in the search box at the top of the site and it should come up for you.

  37. Joy

Hey, has anyone else read the details for the Oral Care rebate? I just was checking on the details and was surprised when I read the folowing:

Rite Aid Gift Card to be mailed separately from rebate check.
Rebate based on actual price paid (after any & all coupons are used).

    Hmmmm…. AFTER any & all coupons…

    Interesting.

    Just wanted to share.

    • Joy

which is still GREAT. I only paid $3.48 after coupons for 2 spinbrushes and 2 refill packs. :0) So it’s still good. FREE is great! I was just surprised and don’t believe I had read where they take in account of coupons and such. THOUGH… you kind of lose out using your wellness rewards as I did… I could have NOT used it and still got my $$ back. Interesting.

    • Fay

I am really shocked that I got this reward after reading about the requirements. I purchased the products and used coupons and here is how my purchases are published on the Rebate site. Rebate Amount Qualified …

    • Tawanda

Although the details indicate the price would be after coupons and other discounts are figured in, it doesn’t. I did the Crest rinse deal 4/$20 – $5 – $8, the ACT rinse and added the Crest toothpast $2.69 SCR (which I purchased using a coupon) and my pre-coupon total was over 25, mytotal OOP was $11.92 and I will receive my $10 GC. So don’t worry, just submit the receipt and check the updates from your SCR emails. You should be fine.

      • Joy

Oh, that is great news indeed! Wow. I guess they just want to see if we’re paying attention. :0) Thanks ladies.

  38. kathy

I purchased a star from the clerk for Make a Wish for $1.00 and there is a $1.00 Right Guard Total Defense coupon & a few others on it. If you’re going to buy the Right Guard Total Defense might as well make a donation!

    • kenac

      great idea!

    • Andrea

I did the same thing but my donation was to Children’s Miracle Network. What a great deal and donated $2.00 to a great cause!!!

  39. Karen

I just called the 1-800# at rite aid about not receiving the $10 printout after buying $30 of airwick/finish products. They were super nice and said they know about the problem and apologized and said they would send a $10 gift card to my home address. Problem fixed. Thanks rite aid! 🙂 ps. have your receipt handy, they want all the info. But dont be afraid to call, they are aware of this glitch.

    • Fay

Every time I call, my store gets in trouble. I was told when I called that if a coupon did not print the store was suppose to give the people the amount of the coupon on the spot. Even talked the manager of my local store and she said the same thing. My manager does not me to call the 800 number and sometimes I do not know how to handle the problem. I think this is a corporate issue and no store should get in trouble.

  40. Amanda Arruda LaPore

I wanted to pick up the razors & cartridges but i have no coupons in my 8/8 SS. Is this a misprint? Are they elsewhere?

    • kenac

they were regional….I haven’t seen a one of those and they have been out (at least) twice.

  41. Ruth

The Loreal August Video Values coupon for hair color cannot be used with this weeks in-ad coupon because both coupons begin with 49.

  42. justlovincoupons

I did the air wick imotion deal at rite aid today. Bought $30 worth and of course it didn’t print…. wasn’t expecting it to after reading everyone’s comments. But I asked the one lady (who I think is manager or assistent manager and is VERY nice and coupon friendly!! She LIKES when I save money! while some of the other cashiers act rather snobby!) and she suggested that maybe it meant before coupons. I said I don’t think so, because that’s never the case with other +up rewards. She said who know with their computer systems. 🙂 And gave me a $10 gift card. Very nice! And by the way my total was 93 cents or something like that. So $9 money maker… YEAH!!!!

Question: I did the Crest/Oral-B deal twice earlier this week. First time, I got the Oral-B flossers for 2.99 and got my $2 Up reward no problem. Second time, I got the Oral-B CrossAction toothbrush, paid with my $2UP reward and used the $.75 PG Q… and got another $2up reward – so I figured it was printing multiple Up rewards. So I ran back and grabbed three more toothbrushes and two more bags of flossers cuz I was thinking – what a GREAT deal! I did buy them all in one transaction, which I thought about cuz sometimes you have to break them up so the Ups print in different transactions, but this time, I didn’t get ANY up rewards… not even ONE $2… I know it does say it limits 1 UP per household, but I probably wouldn’t have bought toothbrushes for 2.25 if I had known it wouldn’t print the UP again….. Thoughts? Should I call? Return the toothbrushes? How would that work if I paid with previous UP rewards and used coupons????? Thanks everyone!

I hate when that happens! If it were me, I would return the toothbrushes. You’re going to get back the sticker price of the toothbrushes (meaning you’ll get cash back for any coupons/UP rewards you used). I always feel a little funny doing it and getting cash back that I didn’t spend, but I figure as long as I don’t do it intentionally, or very frequently, it’s okay. 🙂 And I guess technically, the store will still get the money for the coupons you gave them, right? So really it’s all the same in the end…

Anyone know RiteAid’s policy on returns without receipts?

I returned two items to Rite Aid and the computer did not give me the money for the coupons. It gave me the price minus the coupon. Did not think this was right but what are you to do when this is their policy. They get the money for the coupon.
