I am hosting the Fisher Price house party on Saturday! I got 5 new Fisher Price toys for free, for the kids to play with at the party. So exciting!

can you give us some tips on what you check for as far as how many people you’d invite
I was chosen 3 or 4 times and filled out probably 20 appplications now and I can’t seem to figure out how they do it. I feel like my answers are pretty consistent and yet I only get picked for some…..it’s all about what THEY want and it differes between the comanies. I.e. for the toy hosting they probably want someone with a few kids but for durex they probably want a young childless person…..just my thinking
I have applied for about 10 parties and never been chosen until now for the Durex one. I think you might be right about getting picked for being younger with no kids. I always figured I didn’t get picked for some of them bc I don’t have kids. The Durex one should be pretty entertaining 🙂
I hosted a rubbermaid clean sweep house party, and just got chosen to host a Durex girl talk party from the House party 18 and over site!! I am so excited!!
i DID THE Boboli House party.. only issue with that was using the coupons at the local supermarket.. stop n shop and shaws it was a big process.. but i got 15 totes.. coupons for free pizza and other coupons for money off the crust.. great receipes and magnets..
I just got my Thai stuff today from houseparty.com.. 15 totes.. receipes.. ingredients.. chopsticks..napkins etc.. Id upload a pic but my camera isnt working..

I have only signed up for two parties, but I wasn’t chosen for either one. I don’t know what they didn’t like about my answers. But I’ll keep trying!

I was chosen for the hasbro game party a few months ago. I recieved the new trivia pursuit before it was ever in stores, two other games, 6 boxes of wheat thins and triscuits and loads of coupons for hasbro games. oh yea, also a couple bags of candy. Appplied for lots since then, but so far no luck..hoping I get picked for the Tombstone Halloween Party though, keeping my fingers crossed
I was chosen for the Hasbro party too! It was a GREAT party pack! We had a great time playing the games. I have applied to several since then, and have not been chosen. Crossing my fingers for the Tombstone Halloween party!

We’ve also done a Digiorno party and, the best by far, last year we were picked for the Windows 7 party and indeed did get a copy of Windows 7 plus free Norton for a year!! I love House Party.

The Chex Party mix is through General Mills. You have to be a member of Psst. (https://pssst.generalmills.com). They have their own events similar to House Parties called MyGetTogethers.
We were chosen for a Star Wars Clone Wars party and a few days ago I was accepted as a host for the Durex party. We also hosted a Boboli party recently. It was our first party and it was a lot of fun 😀
I LOVE House Party – I’ve had several parties…..Febreeze, DiGiorno, Sandwich Thins, Oscar Mayer….they are always so much fun and my guests love the goodie bags! My fingers (and toes) are crossed for the Tombstone party since we are already planning on celebrating my son’s 5th birthday that same day. Would be great timing!

I have signed up for 6 or 7 parties and have never been chosen! I answered all questions truthfully and I thought my answers made me look like a great candidate! What am I doing wrong???

I have applied for more and never been chosen also!! I think that they pick based on location as well because it seems more people are chosen from the big cities on the eastern part of the states.
It isn’t about being wrong or right.. don’t take it personally. They have millions of people applying.. and can only choose so many. Keep trying!!

So I gotta ask, if you dont have to buy any presents this year, are you not using the toys like they are intended– as in for a playdate with your childs friends? Maybe its just me being bitter that I didnt get chosen but I was under them impression you were to use these toys as part of an amazing playdate and not wrapped up as gifts for your own child!
I apply for nearly every HouseParty – except for those I am genuinely not interested in. I’ve been picked for 3 (a book party, Sandwich Thins, and Clorox Green Works) – only hosted 2 of them (the first one I didn’t reply soon enough.) AND – I was also picked for the Durex HouseParty. Hubby is WAY excited 😉
I was chosen for the Durex party as well! I know that one will be a fun one for all the girls. My friends are actually pretty excited about the free stuff from this one. This is my first house party, but I’ll probably apply for more in the future since I’ve now gotten one. Can’t wait for this box of goodies to get shipped! 😉

I have been chosen for 3. First was Arnold’s Sandwich Thins. Then Gerber party pack (had a TON of stuff!), and last was the Febreze.
I have a hard time convincing people that it is free and you don’t have to buy anything. So whoever doesn’t show up, I give it away to a shelter. The extra baby backpacks I had came in handy and had coupons for free formula.
I mainly do the parties now with family and people I know will come so I don’t waste my time. Great coupons come with it too!

I’m getting to host a Chex Mix party!! It’s a football theme so I guess my 7 year old daughter is getting a football party but she won’t care. LOL. I’m so excited.
We were chosen for the Star Wars Clone Wars premiere party which we’ll have this Friday. 10 free star wars characters–one for each guest, but a bunch of other little stuff. My son is REALLY looking forward to it. I didn’t tell him about it until we got picked.

Clone wars season premiere party this weekend. SO EXCITED. The package that came is GREAT. Plenty of actions figures, tatoos, coupons and other goodies. Love that you can print party games off the website.
Also bought some fun star wars stuff to go along with it at Target.

Oh man, I really wanted to get that Mac-n-cheese party! Nice swag 😀 I was picked for the Splenda party which was great fun, and this weekend is the Capri Sun juice party (also great fun). Just keep trying – that’s really the only advice I can give. I answered the same way and at the same time for both the Kraft Mac-n-cheese and the Capri Sun, but was picked for one and not the other, so they obviously are looking for different things each time. I’m REALLY hoping for the brewstation one since I bleed coffee 😉 but I know a lot of other people do, too, so I’ll just keep my fingers crossed.
Off topic–did anyone get there drugstore.com package yet? I did and the product are huge. I got the 3 piece bath set as a free item. It weighed 10 pounds!
I got mine on Monday! I know I must have looked ridiculous because I just had foot surgery and was trying so hard to maneuver the box into my house on crutches!!
I’m doing the Capri Sun party, got my party pack last week. Also did a Digiorno Gameday party which was awesome b/c it was the Saints/Vikings championship game. We had a blast, except I was so busy being a good hostess, I didn’t take any pics!!

I’ve been chosen for Oscar Meyer hot dogs, Hot Wheels Battle Force 5, Green Works Clothing Swap, McDonalds/Shrek Party, and PlayStation Move (supposed to get the stuff this weekend).
