I got a great deal on the Smart Balance milk about a month ago, and I thought that tasted like fish too, Erin! Perhaps the stronger taste of peanuts will make peanut butter a little better?
It tastes just the same as the regular Jif. I was very pleased.

Thanks for update, Karin!! 🙂 Have you ever tried a recipe of peanut butter with Toban Djan? Sounds kinda odd but some of local international students said it’s good when you mixed with noodles. Umm, I don’t know the taste… I love Toban Djan itself so we’ll see… 😉

Does anyone know if this peanut butter has HFCS or hydrogenated oils in it?
The label says ‘FULLY HYDROGENATED VEGETABLE OILS(RAPESEED AND SOYBEAN) and no HFCS listed. HTH.
Just used my coupon at Walmart, and it cost $2.48, which was about 50¢ more than just regular Jif. I don’t think it tastes like fishoil, but it may be a bit different tasting than the regular. The real test will be when my hubby, who is gone for a couple of day, gets back home and tries it. He wants ONLY Jif, so it will be interesting to see what he says about it!
