Got this deal earlier! Thnx to them! Woohoooo! Got a great story too. I was stopped going thru my q’s/deals to get and came across a $5/50 order that was laying on the ground by me. I thought first it was my $5OYNOq. Nobody was around so I picked it up. I was no ways going to come close to using this and it expired in a few days. So I was about to check-out and came across a family that definately had $50 in their cart so I gave it to them. They were of course all thankful for it too. Yaaay. Great day at Meijer!

Oh there is another great deal to “catch” also. There is a coupon floating around the frozen food section for Fisher Boy. Its for a free thing of fish sticks up to $7.99 or so! I was able to score a huge bag of 128 fish sticks ($6.99) for freeeeee. Thanks to this deal my buddy alerted me about via text right before I was going there lol!! What perfect timing.

I personally didnt find this q in the frozen food section as they did but happend to come across one just laying by itself by the flyers when you come in the store. So be on the lookout for this booklet around the frozen food section. They found it lying on a table near there. HTH!!

Also don’t forget the mentos gum cpns. I used them at Wal-mart instead. They are only .99 at Meijer which is free after cpn. Friskes cat treats are $1 with a 1 cpn free. And the Bushs grillin beans are cheaper at Meijer than Wal-mart. Hope that helps someone.

here’s a crazy idea, i only want to spend $5 on this deal so i’m going to break it down into 5 trans.

    trans 1
    3 gain $3
    get $3 cat.
    total OOP: $3

    trans 2
    4 frostings $4
    use $3 cat.
    get $3 cat
    total OOP: $1

    trans 3
    3 gain $3
    use $3 cat
    get $3 cat
    total OOP: $0!

    trans 4
    4 frostings $4
    use $3 cat
    get $3 cat
    total OOP: $1

    trans 5
    3 gain $3
    use $3 cat
    get $3 cat
    total OOP: $0!

so for $5: 9 gain dish soap and 8 frostings!!

tried to do this deal today at Meijer in Niles, IL. CAT didn’t print. don’t know why. went to customer service to try to figure out why CAT did not print. the answer I finally got was that the dish detergents were not part of the CAT promo only the laundry detergents had the shelf tag that had CAT info on it. CS was not very helpful so I asked to return the stuff. long story short but the return took 30 minutes because I used coupons and cash to pay. they said they could only give me the cash amount paid. i said fine and i’ll take my coupons back. they said no. because the coupons had already been scanned in as part of the payment, they couldn’t give it back to me. I asked them how is it right that they get back their merchandise but I lose out on my three gain coupons and WAGS register reward that I used. i could use those coupons elsewhere. not to mention they would redeem those coupons when I’ve returned the items. CS couldn’t answer me but kept insisting their register only only allows cash paid to be refunded. then the asst mgr called my turn a “nightmare” at one point when he couldn’t figure out how he could void my transactions so that i could get my money and coupons back. i asked him how he handled these kind of situations before. his reply is it hasn’t happened before. i knew at that point that this wasn’t worth any more of my time to try to explain things to him. finally, another guy came back from break and took care of my return and i left as fast as i could. what a complete waste of my time. that was my first and will be my last trip to Meijer. sorry for the long post but just be aware that at that particular meijer, your CAT might not print and CS isn’t helpful at all.

Wow, sorry you had such a rough time but I’m not surprised your cat didn’t print at this location. Jill Cataldo says, “AND, if you shop at the Illinois NILES or ORLAND Meijer locations, they haven’t been following the same sale flyer as the other Illinois Meijers, under the convoluted reasoning that because the stores are newer, people will shop there -without- as many products being on sale. O-kay.”
