Just a reminder, today is Mega Swagbucks Day— which means you may be able to score more Swagbucks then you normally do just by searching the web! Here are a few other ways you can earn Swagbucks, for those of you just starting out…

You can earn 1 Swagbuck daily by heading to the “Special Offers” section. Just go to the Swagbucks homepage, click on “Ways to Earn” in the top left, then click on “Special Offers” and click on the “View Our No Obligation Offers And WIN Swag Bucks” on the right. One you get to this page, it will state, “Welcome to Swag Bucks Special Offers. Sign up for the free money-saving offers you like, feel free to skip the rest, and find a special swag code reward at the end.” Skip ALL the offers by clicking the skip button or the See Next Offer button beneath the advertisement. Finally after about 4 to 7 pages you’ll be awarded with 1 Swagbuck.

…AND you can earn an additional Swagbuck by doing Trusted Surveys! All you have to do is click on the Trusted Surveys link at the top of the page under “Ways to Earn” and you will score 1 Swagbuck – everyday! Plus, you can also answer the poll of the day daily to score 1 swagbuck!

Also, you can earn additional Swagbucks by joining Swaptree. Check out all the details here. Plus, you can earn 50 FREE Swagbucks on your birthday! …And finally, if you really want to rack up the Swagbucks quickly, then go to the “Special Offers” section and click on “Sign Up For Limited Time Offers And Earn Swag Bucks”. There are lots and lots of limited time offers that you can sign up for to earn Swagbucks. Some of these offers are for free trials and require NO money out of pocket. Some are completely FREE offers. I would take your time and browse through these offers. I’m sure you’ll find a few that you can complete and that will definitely help you earn your first Swagbucks reward pretty quickly!

Remember, it ONLY takes 450 Swagbucks to earn a $5 Amazon gift card!

(Thanks for helping me list all the ways you can earn on Swagbucks, Spectacular Savings!)

I don’t see where I can sign up for swaptree in swagbucks. Can someone please help me find it? I’d really appreciate it…thanks!

      • dinae

Thank you for the link! But when I go to the offers section of swagbucks I don’t see the swaptree offer anywhere. Maybe they’re not doing it anymore? Are there people using this that get swagbucks for every swap they make on this site? Thanks!

So I’ve already cashed in for 2 Amazon gift cards. I was getting nervous that I would forget to use them (it’s actually already happened to me), but then I learned that you can apply gift card money to your Amazon account so that it’s there for the next time that you purchase something. 🙂 This made me very happy. All you have to do is go to “Your Account” and under “Payments” click on “Apply a Gift Certificate/Card to Your Account”. Tada!

I would like to know if anyone has problems downloading the Swagbucks toolbar. I’ve done everything I can think of, and can not get it to download. I e-mailed the Swagbucks support, and gave them the info they requested, but their reply on what to do wasn’t very helpful. They told me to do everything that I told them I have already done. lol Maybe some savvy poster will be able to help me with this head scratching delimma. Thanks all.

I use Internet Explorer, and I was able to download it okay. What are you using? Maybe that has something to do with it???
There are people on SB fb wall who know computers. Why don’t you go on the wall and ask the same question? I bet you will get your answer there! Good luck 🙂

Fran…I am using Windows Vista, IE 8. Thank you for suggesting Sb fb. I didn’t think to do that. I’m pretty new to Swagbucks and have much to learn as I explore the site. There were a couple of things that were a little confusing as I linked into them, but I think I have those figured out now. One of them you answered above with regard to the cost difference in buying multiples of the GC’s. Now, that one really had me stumped. I seemed a little like being cautious about bying a large family size box of an item, instead of two smaller ones, at the grocery store, when sometimes the two smaller ones are less expensive. I’ve just installed a new virus program and need to go back in and set my preferences. Then I’m going to try that Sb toolbar again, in case my other virus program was preventing something from getting through. Here’s hoping. 🙂

I love swagbucks! I’ve already won 39 today!

I noticed it is fewer swagbucks to buy multiples of the $5 Amazon giftcards instead if cashing in for the higher value gift cards. Is there a benefit to buying the larger giftcarfs, like is there a limit to how many giftcards you can use per transaction?

    • fran

Kandi, SB gets a better deal on the $5 AGC, so they pass that savings onto its members. If you have bucks left after purchasing your 5 $5 cards each month, then you might want to buy the $50 AGC ($50 is a better deal than the $25 card). I only get the $5 cards. Even though they are free, I feel like I’m losing out if I were to buy the $50 card, that’s just my opinion.
When you apply your codes to Amazon, it just keeps adding to your total. You can use as much as you want at one time. After they are added to your total, Amazon just recognizes your total, not how many cards you redeemed. I hope that makes sense.

Anyone else noticed that the number of swagbuck awards in the last week or so has dramatically decreased? I am doing the same number and type of searches and I used to get 4-5 “awards” in a day’s time. Now I’m only getting 1 and sometimes 2 “awards.” Just wondering if anyone else if feeling like they’re getting skimpy.

Same here Eliza and Friday is always my worst day for getting Swagbucks! Seems to me that ever since they started giving 2 Swags for things (when I turn the computer on for the first time every day, NOSO and daily polls), it has decreased any other wins for me.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Fridays are NEVER good for me. I am lucky if I get one win. What’s the MEGA Swagbucks? I have never seen them! I do love swagbucks, though!

    • Yaara

Same here. Used to win 4 or 5 times a day, now 2 is the most.

O.K., so I am new to the whole Swagbucks thing. I just spent about a half hour skipping through a bunch of offers that I don’t want to find out at the end that I had to complete two silver offers in order to get any reward! Am I doing something wrong? I don’t want to end up signing up for a free trial, only to find out that I have to call and cancel or else I will be billed.

    • Destiny

Hi! If you keep hitting skip through the NOSO… no obligation special offers at the end you will be credited 1 sb right now they are giving 2

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks so much!! I realized now that I actually did get my swagbucks for other things that I had done. Can’t wait to cash them in!

  9. Piper

I too love me some swagbucks, I search everyday!!!
Hey Colin, you should add google friend connect to your site so people can follow via google, those of us who don’t do the whole facebook/twitter thing. Rock on!! oh yeah, and you should take more time for yourself, just some intuitive advice from someone who does care, you’re one cool lady!!! Take some time for yourself, don’t spread yourself too thin, you seriously need more me time for yourself. Burning the candle at both ends leads to health issues. You work way too hard. I understand why you do it though and I envy you for it. Blessings to you.
