Ahh, I just bought formula and was telling my mom that it was the first time in 10 months I’d had to pay full price because I was out of samples, checks, and coupons! Thanks so much for sharing this coupon!

  2. chaney

I can’t find the coupon? What zip is it under? Thanks!

    • CassPerkins

I didn’t use a zip but I found it on page 20. If you need a zip, mine is 76904 and it should still pop up on page 20.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

the coupon is on the similac website

  3. Michelle

    I can’t find coupon..Need zip also… Thanks

  4. Lynn

I believe mine is listed as sip 90210…and its on page 19. HTH!

  5. Lynn

    oops, meant Zip code 90210

    • Leah

Mine is there too, page 19 – thanks!

  6. Lynn

Is this every store, or just some? ANyone know?

    • Lisa Dawson

Even without a price cut, it is usually pretty low at my Target. i don’t need formula anymore, but I buy it when I can get it less than a buck and donate it to my local shelter.

    • Alea

The price cut varies by store. My Target store actually doesn’t carry the ready made formula in organic or sensitive. I’ve heard the ready mades formula are going to be phased out with the new Similac concentrated formula that has come out in the similiar looking bottle, which makes me sad because I love the convenience of the pre-mixed ready made one!

  7. Jessica

It’s also this price at Walmart…but with these coupons you have to separate the coupons, we tried and had to buy one and then do the other one in another transaction. It wasn’t in my zip code but I put 12345 like the other day, and it worked.

  8. Ashley H.

similac has also been $3.84 at walmart for the last couple of weeks… you can always check there are well. One thing to note is the coupon I printed expires nov 6.

I have a baby thats 99% breast feed but on enfamil when he takes formula. Can you switch brands on them or will it cause problems? First time mommy so not too sure, any advice would help. Thanks!

    • Jennifer

I switched brands with both of my babies (who were also breast-fed at the same time)…they seemed to turn out fine ; )

    • Mrs.Hall

I have a 1 1/2 month old and 4 children total. I try and stick to one brand, but have switched when it seems the one I have her on is not agreeing. I had her on Similac Advance (what they had her on at hospital) and continued at home with powder until I found the recall. She was not acting right and I had planned on switching her anyway. So I put her on Enfamil Newborn and she still acted fussy for the week or so she was on it so switched to store brand soy formula (cheaper) and she was very happy with it.

But, our finances took a turn for the worse and this baby may need to sign up for WIC temporarily. And I was told they only offer Similac. So I switched her to Similac Soy. She has done very well with the changes, but I guess if you find a formula your little one agrees with, to stick with it. HTH 🙂

    • Brooke

I always stuck with one brand for the first 6-9 months, and saved up all my samples and freebies. Once they were closer to one, eating more food but still using some formula, I used it up then. I didn’t notice any troubles. I figured their tummies were getting used to having a variety of things, and would adjust more easily.

    • Alea

It varies for every baby. Some babies have no problems with switching formulas – others are very sensitive to certain types of formula. I’ve used both Enfamil Premium and Similac Advance for my current baby and never had any problem, but they aren’t too different from one another.

    • Sarah

My son was breastfed until he was about 1 year and when we were trying to wean him we just used whatever samples we had on hand. We started weaning him at about 9-10 months (he was also eating alot of solids) and he never had a problem with switching around on brands. It probably just depends on your baby and how old he/she is.

  10. Mrs.Hall

Did any of you request to have a return box sent to you to return your tainted formula for a refund? I had been feeding my newborn daughter the powder kind that lot number was included in the recall. They sent me the box, and also a coupon for $15.00 off a Similac purchase. I scored 4 bottles for .44 cents. I got their soy because its the only thing her tummy likes.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I also requested my refund by mail and got the $15 coupon from them. They’ve also been quite generous with their $ off checks lately, too. I’ve received 3 checks since the recall. And they sent me an email with a link to a coupon on their strongmoms site for a Similac coupon.

  11. Mrs.Hall

Me again lol. Just wanted to let you all know that I printed my 2 from Collins link, AND another 2 if you go to Similac’s website and scroll down to the Save $3.00 coupon sign. A total of 4!! yahooooo!

    • Melissa

      Thanks for that, Mrs. Hall.
Thanks to you too Collin. I live in Jackson, Mi and they are $3.86, I went and got two this morning, now I’ll go back and get two more. The Center for Women will be glad you posted this too Collin 🙂

  12. MamaSara2010

Just leaving target. There isn’t a sign but they are ringing up at the right price. Yeah!

    • Lynn

oh bummer! I should have tried it while i was there!

  13. Lynn

I went to Target…didnt have this deal at mine. Boo!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

It didn’t have it marked down at my Target on the shelf, but when I went to the register they were marked down. Just fyi.

  14. Pam

Just used all 4 of my coupons at Walmart…ALL varieties are 3.84 there!

    • shana

do you know if this is regular price at walmart or is it a sale price? if it is sale price, do you know when it ends? Also do you know at Walmart if it is it one coupon per transaction or per purchase? sorry for the questions, but i’ll have little ones in tow when I go and live out of town from the nearest store

      • Mrs.Hall

I remember the last time I went to walmart to use one, it said this $3.86 (or around there) right on the shelf. I never saw a sale or rollback sign which led me to think that’s the price all the time. Only Target did I see a “price cut” sign as “was $5 and some cents temporarily now $3.86.”

  15. stacy

Wondering if you can use this coupon as well as the $5.00 checks they send you in the mail

    • Alea

They are both manufacturer coupons so you have to choose one or another, and if you use the $5 check you will lose the remaining balance. Usually Target has them priced around $5.64 so I am holding on to my checks right now.

      • Nicole

You don’t have to lose the remaining balance of the check, just buy 2 bottles and the balance goes towards the second one! Or buy 3 bottles, 2 with the check, and one with the coupon. Just as long as it’s only one coupon per item, and only one of these $3 off coupons per transaction, you are good. I’m sure if your baby is only eating formula, you will probably be buying more than one bottle in a shopping trip anyway, they only last my little one about 2 days!

        • Mrs.Hall

If you or someone you know will be registering for baby at Target, the gift bag they give you for registering with them have great Target store coupons, And there is one in there for $5.00 off the 8 pack 2 oz. bottles of Similac..as well as a $5.00 Enfamil (certain 24 oz. cans), and $6.00 Nestle Good Start 24 oz. or larger and also diaper coupons. I’m making a killing next week by stacking a ton of coupons lol.

  16. Sara

How long do these last? Hubby and I are trying for # 2 and would stock up on these but not sure if they would last.

    • Nicole

They have expiration dates on the bottles, so check when you buy. The ones I have in my cupboard right now are good til August 2011.

      • Sara

Thanks! 🙂 I guess if I end up not being able to use it I will donate it.

  17. Stephanie

the price cut for similac liquid ready to feed bottles are due to the recall on the powder / Similac sent me a letter explaining until Abbot can make enough powder to re-fill the shelves that the liquid ready to feed bottles would be a reduced price to accommodate for incontinences At Babies r us the price is also $3.86 when you scan the bottles on the price check machine….. mine stated sale price till 12/10/2010…. maybe?? Also for those similac mom’s out there/ in the letter there was a coupon for $15 off a purchase of $15 or more!! This made a great deal at BJ’s where the cases are also “on sale” they are ringing up for $10 off

    • Nicole

They sent me a StrongMoms email with this info, and the email only came with a $3 off coupon. I wish I would’ve gotten the letter with the $15 off coupon!

  18. aw

Prestone antifreeze priced at my local Target for 10.79 shelf price. There is a rebate deal going on right now, so I would check out Prestone’s website for more info. You could get $7 back depending on which kind you’re buying, possible up to 6 limit on the rebate per household. I went to Kmart and Walmart, but the price there was 12/12.99.

  19. Rachel

I have had so much trouble using my Similac coupons at Wal-Mart & Brookshires. I tried using the $15 coupon they sent me and neither store could get it to work. I tried the $3 coupon yesterday and when the girl scanned it it would not work. The CSM did come override it for me.

    • Mrs.Hall

the $15 worked for me. Not sure what the register said for you, but mine just asked if it was a valid amount “yes or no”. She did wonder if it was “up to $15” or for only sertain ones, or even if it was for one item. But it says on a purchase of $15 or more. Plus there was a picture of the bottles right on it. A CSM came over and said “yes, its a legit sale and coupon..go ahead and press yes.”

      I haven’t tried the $3 coupons yet.

  20. Lynn

When my coupon printed I saw there is a printed on the coupon:
    Limit 1 coupon per transaction.
    Void if transferred
    and
Consumer: Limit 1 coupon per household.

So while coupons.com would let me print 2, it looks like I should neither use both nor give one to my neighbor’s household to use. I have no baby now (he’s in college), but was planning to donate to the local emergency shelter for battered women. Looks like they only get one now.
    🙁

  21. Ashlee

I was able to buy 8 bottles at walmart for $2.64!!! I used the $15 Q from Abbott, 2 $3 from coupons.com, 2 $3 off Q’s from the Similac website (I was surprised it let me print this morning b/c it’s powered by coupons.com & I had already printed 2 from there), and $2/1 from the 10/10 RP. Before coupons my total was $30.72! I don’t plan on using this formula for my son (due in 8 days!!!), but it was such a great deal I had to buy so I can donate it!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You are so lucky. I tried at three Walmarts to use these similac coupons. they all told me that I could only use ONE coupon to buy one similac. That the computer prints out one per computer and cannot accept any more than that. 🙁 My guess is people are abusing coupons here in S. Florida. Who knows …

      • Ashlee

I was a little surprised b/c my walmart is NOT coupon friendly AT ALL! I had 8 bottles and 6 coupons, so the cashier said it was find she could ring them up all together. The only coupon that did not scan correctly was the $15 off a purchase of $15 or more. The register said coupon value too high and only took off $3.84 (the price for one), but she voided that and scanned it again, then It asked if the $15 off is the correct amount she pushed yes and scanned the 4 $3off and the 1 $2off coupons and the register took the amount off. I was VERY happy with this transaction I usually leave walmart pissed off b/c they ALWAY refuse to adjust down the coupon to the price of the item…I’ve been told that if it makes the item free I can not use a coupon, which is BS…I had to go to another store to use my gain dish soap coupons b/c the manager would NOT take the $1 Q!
