My hubby had surgery on his calf this morning (gastrocnemius-muscle recession), so I have been sitting in the recovery room with him for most of the day. He’s doing great (just groggy and very sleepy from all the meds). We just arrived home about 30 minutes ago and now I’m scrambling to get the laundry done, dinner cooked and all those other fun duties! Yipppeee! 🙂

Anyway, I did want to quickly apologize for not being quite “there” today… if you know what I mean. I know some of the deals I posted didn’t quite go as planned (I’m mainly talking about the Gilt Zoobie Pets deal). I normally test out deals more thoroughly… But, as I’m sure you understand, my attention and focus was not at all on my blog today. Hopefully I’ll be back in the swing of things tomorrow!

Oh and seriously the way all of you help each other out in the comment section is so awesome! I was especially touched when I was reading all the comments on this post. You all are so generous.

Family is so First! Best wishes for a speedy recovery to the hubby. Guess he gets to sit home and watch you in complete Wonder Woman action tomorrow. His head will be spinning and his eyes rolling, like my hubby, who is home with a bum ankle.

Forget your website, family is more important. Don’t apologize for being a wife and mother, who cares about her family. Your website proves you care about others, but many if not most of your readers have their own families, they care about, which is why they look to you for discounts and freebies.

  13. Ann

Good heavens girl, take a day off. We’ll be here when you get back. Best wishes to your hubby for a speedy recovery. If he is anything like my husband, then they are worse to take care of than little kids!

Collin-Time to pop in one of those fantastic frozen meals! Im using one of mine tonight, the cheesy rice broc chicken casserole….Im also not “cooking” dinner all 7 days of my husbands shift (usn) since I have such great frozen meals prepared ahead of time…thanks to the holiday challenge! 🙂 Im thinking I should cook ahead of time more often. Hope the hubby heals quickly and life is back to normal soon.
