Just a Quick Note…
My hubby had surgery on his calf this morning (gastrocnemius-muscle recession), so I have been sitting in the recovery room with him for most of the day. He’s doing great (just groggy and very sleepy from all the meds). We just arrived home about 30 minutes ago and now I’m scrambling to get the laundry done, dinner cooked and all those other fun duties! Yipppeee! 🙂
Anyway, I did want to quickly apologize for not being quite “there” today… if you know what I mean. I know some of the deals I posted didn’t quite go as planned (I’m mainly talking about the Gilt Zoobie Pets deal). I normally test out deals more thoroughly… But, as I’m sure you understand, my attention and focus was not at all on my blog today. Hopefully I’ll be back in the swing of things tomorrow!
Oh and seriously the way all of you help each other out in the comment section is so awesome! I was especially touched when I was reading all the comments on this post. You all are so generous.

I just had the same thing, and another procedure done on Tuesday…..good luck to your hubby!
I almost fell off my chair when I read the medical term for his surgery. My foot doctor is recommending that same operation for me but I’ve never heard of anyone ever having it done before so I’ve been hesitant to go for it. Basically I have foot arch pain when exercising and I’m told that cutting a muscle/tendon in the calf will help. Did it help you? How bad is the scar left on your calf? Any thoughts would be helpful.

Collin, sorry to hear about your hubby, but GLAD everything is O.K. At one time I was EVERYTHING to my family. I alone cooked for ALL holidays, Now due to death and other promblems my family has gotten smaller. Take your time, I have 7 kids and as my friends would say to me.. “Take some time for you!” (I also understand your need to be “on” as well or they wouldn’t be saying that to me either. 🙂 )
