can you use any bags for this product?
No, you must use the kind with the valve. The Food Saver ones are way expensive, but last time this deal was around, someone said Walmart carried a generic version for much cheaper! I just reuse the two bags that mine came with for now.
Got one of these back in the summer…they also work with ziplock vacuum seal bags!

I hated mine. I threw it away the other day because I couldn’t get it to suck the air out of the baggies right. Very frustrating!
I bought this last time and it’s really good quality!
I received mine in the mail…I ordered 2 of them, one for myself and one to give as a gift. I was really disappointed to find out that it doesn’t include any way to charge the system, and when I tried to find a separate charger for it I was unable to. I don’t know if I’m going to give the other one as a gift or not now.
Does it use batteries then?

I got one at a bridal shower. Mine worked great! My mom bouht one the other year at Black Friday and hers didn’ work as good as mine did. I think it is a hit and miss. Or maybe bad reviews because user error My mom has never bee electronic savy

Mine came with a plug in charger and I love mine. I use it all of the time with the Ziplock vacuum sealer bags. I save and seal everything from bananas (in portions for banana bread) to steak. I find that if I make sure that the seal part is super flat while sealing it really gets all of the air out.
That is really cool that you can you it with the Ziploc vacuum sealer bags. Now I got to look for deals for the Ziploc baggies to give along with the vaccum, so I can give it to my sisters for Christmas. : )
haha I havent used mine. I was going to use it this weekend to pre chop and store things for thanksgiving. Good to know that I can use the ziplock ones (they are 2.64 at my local grocery store).

For those of you who keep asking about charging it, it comes WITH a charging base. Look at product “features & benefits” and you will see this information where is states “It’s so small it can fit in a drawer, but with its sleek look and recharger base, it looks great on your countertop.”

This might be kind of a ‘duh’ question, but I noticed in the description info it said that the device was good for sealing foods for refridgeration. Can you use this particular one to seal items for the freezer as well?

what price are the bags that work with it ??? can you just use a regular ziploc sandwich bag ??
Several ppl mentioned they used the Ziploc VACUUM Seal bags with great success. Regular ziploc baggies do not work with this device.
Got one the last time this deal was up and LOVE it! The bags are a little expensive, but they are reusable (depending on what you put in them) and there are generic ones available too. I have put the bags in the freezer and they work great! No complaints here!
